My sons and I have been playing at Wildlands for the past year. The referee's are fair and pay attention to the game. If players are not calling their hits, they bring out their own guns and make sure people call the hits, it's hysterical to watch. The field needs some upkeep. As of May they have done some work, and added extra shade(much needed) but could use a little more. The fields are big and fun. Did a private party for my son's 13th birthday. It was his and his friend's first time playing and it was the best experience. Cade was our ref and he made the experience top tier for us. Communication throughout the week from the staff was great (Steven and Sarah). We were struggling with late party members and they were great in handling that. Check in and equipment rentals was a quick and easy process. We will definitely do this again and are already in the process of planning our next private group session. Had an AMAZING time at our private party yesterday. For half the price of SC Village or Hollywood Sports, you get a private party that lasts all day (versus 3 hours). The field and staging area is well kept as well. The refs at Wildlands are excited to help run games and really take an interest in your private party. Our ref yesterday was Cade, and was amazing! His games were well run, and really gave us the opportunity to get the absolute most airsoft out of the day. We will definitely be back again. read more

Terrible place to play airsoft if you're an honorable player. The regulars are man-children with egos who rather fight and create drama than have fun and play the game. Every game was interrupted because the regular players would fight with each other. Refs are nice but are too lenient. They take insults from the regulars and let players order them around. This leads to players taking rule enforcement into their own hands. The regulars would run at each other to argue and physically fight and refs would just allow the drama to unfold. The bathrooms were unsanitary and there is an active septic pool in the middle of the parking lot. Go to Code Red instead. read more

TLDR: Locals rigged the chrono, umps not required to watch chrono or inspect guns, players are rude and acted like they owned the place. OVERSHOOTING TO THE MAX!! So I originally wasn't going to make a review of my experience (if you have nothing nice to say don't say it) but I think I am now because going to other fields had me notice a few major safety protocols that HAVE TO BE IMPLEMENTED, that HAVE BEEN implemented in other fields around the area to ENSURE YOU HAVE A GOOD TIME AT THEIR FIELDS!!! Before anything: this was not a Mil-Sim event. It was a regular Saturday that me and my buddies got together to fuck around and have some fun. The locals (as depicted below) did not thing so, and wanted to make it as excruciating as they could for the other players. We didn't have a good time to say the least. 3 main parts to this experience: the chrono, the locals, and the ref Me and my group go once or twice a month to different parks and arenas around SoCal so we wanted to try this out The ref called the 15 minute warning, so we went to get our guns chrono-ed. The chrono: We walk up to get on the field and a "local" helped us to chrono our guns (which an umpire should do WITH IN-HOUSE MAGS AND GAS to make sure your gun is working properly to make sure that there aren't any illegal modifications). We asked him what we chrono-ed at and he said "270, and 280" which is VERY LOW. My gun was brand new and unmodified so I didn't think much of it, so was my buddies. Come to find out at a different park TODAY and my gun chrono-ed at 350 FPS. Which is a major issue if someone is rushing shooting you in the hands from 5ft away with a possible 450+ FPS gun that CHRONOED AT 350!! Not cool. The locals: The locals were cool before we started the game but once we went into the field it was clear that they were wanna-be refs, as they never called their shots, but tried controlling the whole field multiple times. Me and my group that were there had many issues with 3 or 4 guys in particular, the rest were ok. We were kinda fed-up with everything going on so we said "this is our last game, let's get the f*^% out of here." On the last game of the day it was medic. I shot a guy and was running to cover when I get shot in the back as I turned the corner for cover. I put my hand out to notify the other player that I was shot and 5-10 bbs hit the INSIDE OF MY HAND as well as my INNER ARM (in pic) As we switched sides, the Ump walked over to our side with us to say "If I hear any other complaints from the other team of you guys overshooting or not calling your shots I'm going to end the game" So I stated my case where I was shot in the arm and hand and she said the same warning to the other team. There was a major confrontation between my teammate and the other team that could have been 10000% avoidable and the day was SHUT DOWN because of it!!! The umpire: The poor umpire. She was so nice to everyone and was trying to help everyone out. Later on we found out they were short-staffed and she didn't have much experience with airsoft as she did paintball. I felt so sorry for her but at the same time mad at the establishment for forcing their staff to work events that they weren't ready for. I personally feel sorry for her because she was stomped on because she was too nice. I wish that hadn't been the case... In summary: The place was a total waste of money. I suggest you go to a place like Code Red or literally ~ANY~ other field. In the picture are the welts I got from the ONE guy who overshot me. As you can see, they are in my inner left arm as well as my inner elbow WHICH CANNOT BE SHOT UNLESS MY HAND IS RAISED IN SURRENDER!! The welts grew and pretty much my whole arm was covered in one big bruise. Suggestions for the owner reading this: -make the umps chrono player guns, invest in multi-colored zip ties so mark guns that pass chrono so people have to get it chronoed EVERY TIME NO EXCEPTIONS -get a new chrono, obviously something happened to that one -test all guns with the same weight bb and your own mags to make sure that the gun isn't modified by the mag (ie gas can or mag in ice chest to make It shoot slower for the first few rounds) -make sure there's enough staff to hold down the fields. Players are rowdy, expect it! -ENFORCE an "overshooting = kicked out" policy -get better bathrooms than just port-a-potties, it stunk of literal poop all of the way down the driveway, we literally couldn't stand it. -CORRECT THE BLATANT LACK OF SAFETY AND SECURITY ON YOUR FIELDS OR PLAYERS WILL TAKE IT INTO THEIR OWN HANDS read more

First time here for my son at this location for airsoft. Pretty cool area but a lot of work or neglect present and not sure if we will do the drive back. The Negatives...got there early and the first game did not start till after 10 as it says first game is at 9am. The wait time in between games is way too long. Not like other parks. Safety is a big negative. Your vehicle is pelted by paintballs. Not good at all when someone gets hit in the face (especially a kid) when you are waiting in the parking lot where you are expected to be safe. Very dangerous. I have not seen issues like this at SC Village or Hollywood. Safety is the big negative here and doesn't look like anything is being done. The Positive...the lead ref is very vocal and has control of things. Wait time between games is too much but but he has control and changes up games a lot. Overall a cool location but terrible in regards to safety of yourself or your vehicle in areas that should be deemed safe. The waiver may protect the business but the business needs to do things to protect its patrons. read more

Kid wearing white tee-shirt and purple beanie over over-shooting his obviously hot polarstar all day. I've been playing airsoft for 10 years and the only time I have these kinds of bruises and bleeding is from hot polarstars, so I know the difference. The ref was good but the rental guy and many of the other staff were dick bags acting like they had a grudge on anyone they met. we went for a battery change and were met with an immediate no from the rental guy before speaking a word and then laughter as we tried to explain ourselves. I enjoyed playing here. The refs are pretty nice and the fields are great. The main criticism I have is that the refs could do a much better job making the teams even. While I was there one team had all the children (many whom were playing for their first time) on it and the other team had all the experienced adults. read more

Used to love this place. Been coming since I was 14 (21 now). Took about a year off and came back for the night game on 7/10/21. The refs tonight put all the regular goers on one team (people I've played with before) and all the rentals and new people on the other. Lots of kids not calling hits and I watched the ref tell the polar stars to "lock themselves" I don't think any of them did cause everyone on bands team is bleeding and the refs aren't doing anything about it. Half the bands team (newcomers) walked off and they kept the same teams. Lot cleared out in 5 minutes. This place has gone downhill. Drive the extra 20 minutes to another field. read more

Enjoyable experience. Took 9 guys from my team here since SC has their yearly paintball game today ( Decay of Nations ). Fields are excellent and the management team and refs really focus on the customer experience. Referee's on the air-soft park is friends with the locals over there and she is not fair with calling hits with the group that she is friends with. when we complained that someone is using automatic on there air-soft guns and not calling shots she doesn't even talk to them and warn them. one of my friends that enjoyed playing here with us was warned even though we are the ones that complained about it. we enjoy playing here and it's disappointing that she is friends with the regular guys that plays there. they are disrespectful sometimes. read more

I have been going here since 2008, my experience playing in games have been very fun. Games usually last 30-40 minutes with a 10 minute break in between games. Now games last 15-20 minutes with a 20-30 minute break in between. In between matches the refs go and hide away inside their "office". The refs don't enforce rules in the staging area and seem to pick the sides of the "regular" players. The maps are the only reason why I come here now. If you want to play more games, get your money's worth. You may want to try going to Code Red. read more

On my second trip after the reopening, I had high hopes after a positive first experience. I was very disappointed to find that although the new management has really tried to make this park better, the same people who made this park unsafe still play here. An older man came all the way across the field to try and fight me because he got shot walking in front of a window when he was out. This guy was much larger than me and if it wasn't for the other players around me he would have caused severe injury. In the aftermath, the refs kicked me off the field and allowed him to stay. As I walked off the field, the same player tried to start a fight with me again and the refs did nothing and still allowed him to remain on the field. The refs were on a first name basis with this player and, in talking to some regulars, I learned that this man was known for having a temper, going after younger players, and causing problems. I was scolded by the lead ref, made to apologize to the instigating player, and threatened with being banned from the park for starting the fight. I am 5'11 and 160 lbs, the other player was 6'3 and at least 250 lbs. Would you start a fight if you were me? At this point, it's his word against mine but this park has a history of allowing this kind of behavior. I will not link it, but there is a Youtube video of a massive fight at this same park which led to multiple injuries and the park being shut down. It doesn't take much to see how unchecked, violent behavior combined with favorable ref treatment could lead to such an event. read more

I have been playing here for a long time... Back when it was Jericho. I come here Every Sunday! Gus the head reff takes care of the players and the park. When he is here things are great and has trained all of his reffs. The only time a problem will occur is when a player is not following the rules. My favorite Airsoft park in SoCal. Way better than SC Village. I come here pretty regularly and it's always a very pleasant experience. The referees know exactly how to keep the games fun and safe for everyone especially Buss and Chris. I went this past weekend and was disappointed that Buss was only reffing for part of the day. He's one of the best referees the park has! He makes the games entertaining for newcomers and regulars like myself every time he's out there. There are people that will complain about him for doing his job tho.... I mean people that will come and cheat or threaten other players. I've seen both of these things happen multiple times. Cheaters or people that threaten others do NOT belong at Wildlands and will not be tolerated. if people wanna complain because they got caught breaking the rules then let em. It won't change the fact that they are wrong and the referees are just doing their jobs to keep people safe. Special shout out to the field refs I usually deal, buss( the guy with the beard and ponytail) he is fair and Stern and does not tolerate people breaking the rules and is always very professional and keeps everyone in line which is exactly what is needed when airsofting, someone to keep everyone honest and keep everyone safe. This is a airsoft park that is clearly under its developing stage and is growing rapidly and taking the environment and attitude of the game very seriously! Aside from that, their grand opening at jungle island paintball and airsoft park was a huge success and what I think is a great welcome for this park to be known to everyone in southern California! I brought our son and a friend, 14, here for their first Airsoft experience. Prices seemed fair and the facility was more than adequate. We rented all equipment for a total of $90+ for each boy. The optic scope was non-functioning in each gun, but being totally new, we assumed we had gotten what we paid for. The staff was friendly and helpful with the two boys since none of us knew what to expect. In the first match, my son took a shot on his knuckle that made a HUGE welt. I assumed it was a fluke since each of the boys took quite a few hits and this was the only one to leave a significant mark. A few matches later the other boy's protective glass was shot off of his scope. He did nothing wrong, he didn't fall or hit it on anything....it was shot off and there was an impact mark to prove it. The other gun was slowing down and jamming, so we went to the rental shack to get it checked. The rental clerk, replaced the battery and saw the broken scope cover on the other gun and said "we'll take care of that when you check out". I didn't figure out what was going on until a few matches later, at the end of the day, when the other boy had the same exact thing happen....his scope cover shattered when shot. Clearly, there was someone using a gun that exceeded the FPS limit for the game. Chrono enforcement seemed lax and we had a swollen finger and two items broken because of it. At turn-in time, we were charged retail price for the two covers and when challenged, the manager said, "We are giving you a break and only charging for the covers, instead of the entire $250 deposit." My answer was "If you keep the deposit, we would just keep all of the equipment, right?" At that point I was told I was being charged the $41 retail price for the two covers....should have let them keep the deposit, and just taken the equipment home. Someone else was breaking the rules, which damaged both the rental equipment and left quite a mark on my son's hand. This is obvious. As new players, we got the bill, because we didn't make a big stink right when it happened. The boys had a fantastic time, and will play again, but it will either be somewhere else, or we will be LOUD whenever we see a problem. Live and learn, but don't expect these folks to have your back. read more

Went there last Saturday. I must say this place is way better than SC Village. People who are looking for paintball review, this is not for you. Airsoft players, read on. Good maps and spacious compare to SC Village. In SC, y'all who have been there must know that the maps are fun, but no space and net to separate the border. And it's super dirty. In here, they try not to do paintball and airsoft together, so the airsoft field is pretty good. Refs are pretty good here, they are chill. However, they might not be super clear with rules of games and kinda assume you know. If you don't understand, just ask, and they will answer you. Games average about 20 minutes per game, if you like longer match, this is the one. Better than SC, don't have to keep switching maps after 5-10 minutes of playing. The refs are chill compare than SC village and a little looser on the rules instead of strict BS rules like SC. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place instead of SC. But I must admit, SC has nice maps tho. Hopefully they will change the attitude of the refs. read more
