I had phase 1 of 2 part phase to get an implant. They removed the decayed tooth. So far this has been a good experience. They did the procedure and I had clear instructions on what to do. They prepare me for the worse case scenario but my recovery has been great. First day very little pain and I could have just used regular Tylenol. 2nd day no pain just a little sore. This was a better experience than the last time I had an extraction from an oral surgeon in Huntington Beach a few years ago. It took a week for the pain to subside. Which was a more expensive place. My only complaint was sometimes it was hard for me to get a hold of the office for the appointment. But once your on the line it was all smooth.

They went above and beyond with accommodating my husband and I's financial situation. I am so grateful and amazed at the level of care I received. I also have a one year old daughter and they interact with her and that is such a sweet and touching thing for me. I highly recommend this place.

Dr. Phan encouraged me to do full sedation and I believe there was a bone graphic as part of the procedure. My cost after insurance was going to be over $1600. After meeting Dr. Pledger, he mentioned that bone graphs are not recommended or necessary for standard wisdom tooth extractions, and local anesthetic is a perfectly fine option. My cost after insurance was under $300. I was very happy to do local anesthetic as it did not hurt and I was able to drive myself home right after the 20 or 30 minute operation. The car savings were significant and I'm glad Dr. Pledger talked me through the options so I could make a more informed decision versus being pushed into a specific (and more costly) treatment with my first consultation.

Went in for my first visit, only once I get there they tell me they can't do cleaning that day because I didn't explicitly request a cleaning. I guess they thought it would be fun to just come in and chat? Didn't see me until 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment, then they took me into some strange secondary antechamber to 'talk about your teeth', then I go and sit in a dentist chair for 15 minutes by myself. Finally, they come and try to take my blood pressure and spit in a cup to measure bacteria. Then I sit for another 15 minutes, then them come and do every imaginable xray, then I sit for another 15 minutes and they come back with a $3,000 treatment plan for my next visit! It amounts to excessive charges for 'deep cleaning' an oral mouth rinse and laser beams. Hour and a half later and I leave without any actual work done. My teeth are in phenomenal shape, I had been going to the dentist 2x a year for life and taking good care. Nothing at all wrong with them, period. Went to another dentist and he laughed at the ridiculousness recommended by these grade A rip offs. Watch below for their lame boiler plate 'customer service' comment which is nothing more than lip service for a place that is interested in doing nothing but taking your money. Corporations and private equity that try and squeeze every last dollar out of you by simply adding some new tech. My wife went in expecting a routine visit for a cleaning and a couple of cavities. Instead, we were hit with a bill around $2,000 with multiple charges that were never clearly explained or approved ahead of time. They billed the insurance almost $7k while not showing all the extra "services" they were adding on to our bill. They showed my wife the total but failed to mention all these extra services that drove up the bill! They tried to make her think this was normal for a cleaning and cavities. For example, they billed $88 for "oral hygiene instructions" which is something most dentists include as part of a normal visit, not as a separate charge to our insurance. All they did was told her to floss! There were also additional lab panels and testing added without any real discussion or consent beforehand. The biggest issue is not just the cost, it is the lack of transparency. At no point were we given a clear breakdown before the work was done. We only saw the full charges after the fact. This place is the new mechanic shop where they take advantage of women who might not know any better. Patients deserve to know what they are agreeing to and how much it will cost before being treated. This felt misleading and left us with zero trust in this office. Regardless, $2000 for a cleaning and cavities is absolutely insane. My family and friends have already vowed to never return. Enter at your own risk!
