I had a tooth extraction and implant procedure at Prestige Dental with Dr. "B," and it was a really good experience. The team was professional and kind and they made me feel comfortable from start to finish, not an easy task :-+ What stood out most was how smooth it was--I didn't even realize the tooth had been pulled until Dr. "B" told me it was out, the nightmare of a giant pliers coming at you are long past lol. The other thing is that I was given options and a clear explanation of costs ahead of time. There was no pressure, just helpful guidance so I could decide what felt right. Prestige Dental is the way to go. Dr. Awwad is a gentle and friendly dentist who always takes the time to explain treatments in detail ahead of time. He is also very honest about whether a treatment is necessary. Unlike some of the dentists I've been to in Lake Elsinore, who try to upsell services like Botox to relax gum muscles or deep cleaning every six months, Dr. Awwad only recommends what is truly needed for your dental health. For example, I had a root canal done a couple of months ago, and he recommended a crown to reduce the chance of a cracked tooth. Before the treatment, he sat next to me and explained the benefits of the crown and what he would do if he were getting the service himself. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Awwad. This is by far the best dental office. Christine, the kindest lady up front. She's very helpful when it comes to scheduling and working with your insurance. I've heard horrid stories about patients being scammed and dental office just wanting their money. Not this one!! Both Christine and Dr. Awwad are very honest and will help you find a way to get done what needs to get done. Dr. Awwad actually goes above and beyond for his patients. I once called at 6am as I was hoping to leave a message to schedule an appointment and guess what -- Dr. Awwad answered thinking it was an emergency. His dental hygienist also got the gentlest hands. They don't give you the bs other dental office gives saying "it's because you don't floss enough" lol THEY WANT WHAT'S BEST FOR YOU. Dr. Awwad and Niki are the best! From start to finish I've felt comfortable and confident in their hands!

It's my opinion that deep cleaning should be divided in four sessions and the cost one quarter each session. Not about 60 minutes? for the entire treatment and cost 600 or so for cleaning. Did not seem intensive deep cleaning more like periodontal maintenance type of cleaning but I am not the dentist just the patient. I guess I should have made myselfbetter informed and asked or be told the cost up front right ?? Also informed gums bleeding And could opt for non insurance treatment also at 140 or so. I did Take it since concerned at the time because gums bleeding so glad they offered this procedure if you wanted it. Just stating the facts as I see it Told to comeback for short follow up cleaning. It was about half hour I recall ? and was surprised billed for about 65 dollars.I mistakenly thought it was free and yes I should have asked first if was part of initial treatment cost. I did not unfortunately but all treatments were on contract rate so good a contracted Dentist. Exam and filing treatment all good before. Dentist is quite knowledgeable and office quite clean as I remembered plus music and TV screens were a plus. Now going to Periodontal maintenance from A specialist in that field at 133 dollars contract rate for follow ups. read more

Absolutely phenomenal experience with this dental provider! The hygienists who took care of my deep-cleanings were top-tier and I had a very comfortable experience. The doctor is also fantastic and walked me through every step of the (cap and fillings) procedure as it was happening. I had to have a root canal done at a referred endodontist, and they were also great! (I was so comfortable that I fell asleep during the procedure ahaha). The two receptionists are also awesome and flexible when working with scheduling. As a more in-depth review, everything about my experience here has been great! The office has been meticulously crafted to ensure the best experience for anyone getting dental work done, whether that be a personal selection of shows to watch (Great British Bake-Off seems to be the general favorite, ironic given the sweets vs dentistry ahaha), to the comfortability of the procedure. I have been to many dentist offices and few pay this much attention to making sure the person coming in is fully satisfied. Before, during, and after every procedure, the doctor and the hygienists check-in and make sure you are alright, as well as explaining everything that they will/are/did do for you. It's a great little gem, and I'm glad I was referred here by my insurance. Overall, 5*'s across the board. They've won me over. Referred my family in the area to them as well! read more

I just returned from perhaps the very best dental experience I've ever had. Before I go into the reasons why, I also have to applaud the exceptional, above and beyond COVID protocols this office has in place. I felt very safe coming here for the first time, and was impressed with the overall cleanliness, and measures to keep patients and staff safe. In terms of quality of care, you could not find a more caring, professional dental team. Dr. Awwad is so personable and an excellent listener--he clearly is passionate about dentistry and about the health of his patients' teeth & gums. What struck me too, was his evident expertise. This guy seems to really know what he's talking about. I felt I was in good hands and that Dr. Awwad would recommend only what he thought was the best care for me. Then there was the delightful Tasha. She has the right balance of professionalism and 'chair side' manner that put me at ease the whole time. I cannot say how much I used to absolutely dread dental check ups. I have a lot of exposed roots and getting a simple cleaning has been excruciating for me (physically and emotionally). When Tasha announced that she was going to put on the polish, I was taken aback. I even asked her, "wait--you're done?" It was the first thorough, deep-cleaning of my teeth that didn't hurt AT ALL. Thanks Tasha! Finally, when you visit this office, you will likely speak to the nicest ladies in the front of the office. I didn't catch their names, but both of them were attentive and treated me like I mattered. My only regret is that I didn't find this wonderful dental office sooner. I do a glowing review here all the time BUT the reason is there's always something new to rave about. So, I'd ended up w a dental plan that Dr. A doesn't take and I went to him with extreme pain. Dr. A himself made me an appointment w/an orthodontist that takes my insurance and when the co-pay was too high, he made me a second appointment with a provider who charged 50% less. And canceled the first appointment and made sure I saw this doctor the same day. This is phenomenal (way above and beyond) service! Dr. Awwad and his staff are phenomenal. I wish I could give them more stars. He is very thorough in his work and makes sure everything is done correct with detail. I love that he explains each thing he does while doing dental work. He and his staff are very gentle and kind during all work performed. My kids feel very comfortable while getting their 6 month cleaning and also like the fact they get their own tv :) His staff is very professional, kind and communicative. I had insurance issues and they took care of it and went above and beyond and wrote my insurance company multiple times in order to make it right. We moved here 6 years ago and had a different dentist until he sold his practice to another dentist. We didn't want to go through the hassle of changing dentist but are extremely happy we did because Dr. Awwad blows both those dentist out of the water in all ways. Covid -precautions: We were worried about going to the dentist during covid but his staff assured us all the precautions their office would take. They gave our family the first appointment of the day, they took our temperature, they made sure each patient washes hands and gargles before sitting in chair, each staff member wears masks and the hygienists and Dr. Awwad wear double masks and a shield. They also have great air circulation with their AC and also have air purifiers in each room. We felt very safe going into his office. Do not get me wrong, I have no complaints when it comes to the Dentist. He is very personable and true to his dentistry, and as far as care from a patient to a doctors relation you will be in good hands. The lower rating has to do with the administrative staff and I do not entangle myself with the stress of improper practices. They will not submit all claims of all services rendered at the time. They will charge you their cash price due to the assumptions that a service will not be covered, simply because of one patient out the family wasn't covered and the other has yet to have those services done. They stated that they would correct their mistake but has yet to do so. I personally will not be returning simply because I have no trust in their ethics and improper practices on the administrative side. As no one should be taken advantage when they have the proper financials and an excellent insurance plan that was avoided in use. read more

I don't know that I've ever had a dentist go to such lengths to ensure my comfort, care and an overall good experience.
