This is a tough one mainly because of safety concerns I had. Firstly you have to park very far away due to construction happening. It sucks but I get it. Here's what went well: I enjoyed the actual zip-lining and my baby cousins enjoyed it to a certain extent. Here's what I didn't like: Workers. Where? For a Saturday there were only a handful of people and there were only a few workers at each platform. Coincidentally not the ones we were at. My boyfriend and his mother were both given the wrong harness size which led to a very uncomfortable experience for them. Mainly my issues with this place is no one was there. At times we were screaming asking for help for the people in front and behind us. It's really scary how deserted it felt. Other major issue, gloves were not required? What? I used to work at a zip line place and much of what I saw upset me. I would look elsewhere when considering trying something like this. read more

I did the classic ropes course today and it took me just under 2 hours. Overall, I think it's worth the money. The staff is really friendly and helpful, and the course is actually a lot more challenging than I expected. I have a couple of recommendations for anyone planning to go: I did not do the zip line as an add on, and I really don't think it's necessary; the classic course has six or seven zip lines, and they are all higher than the big one. I wished I had my old weight lifting gym gloves. You're holding on to things for dear life pretty much the whole time, and gym gloves would have counteracted the stress sweat on my palms, and also prevented the callouses I developed. Leave as much as you can in your car, as lockers are $5. I threw my backpack behind one of the container closets where you gear up and it was fine, but it would have been less stressful to have left it in my car. I think this is worth trying if you're not afraid of heights and looking for an unusual workout and adrenaline rush. read more

I am so glad we made this happen. Great place to social distances,experience the beauty of Long Island and get some fresh air. A sense of adventure and thrill. Fun for the whole family. A few different levels of courses to choose from. A bit of a challenge to park. On the WILDPLAY website they do indicate that fields 4 and 5 are your best parking options, they are actually located on the opposite side so as you get near when you can see WildPlay start looking for the lots 4 and 5 on your right. GPS it is a bit confusing, it knows that WILD PLAY is on the other side so it will NOT give you directions to these 2 suggested parking fields. I have added some photos of aerial shots of the parking lots to help. By dumb luck we ended up in the lot that says volleyball ( see my pics ) and it was very close to WILDPLAY. Ticket booth was easy to find it's located on the upper deck. They offer 3 different levels of courses, a free fall jump and one very Big Zip Line. All the courses have small zip lines that connect so you stay attached and zip on over so a small connecting zip line is included with all levels. If you choose the upper course you get the scenic view of the ocean. My kids were 12 and a little nervous so we purchased one single course on the lower level. It took them about 1/2 hour to run the course so next time I will definitely purchase all three to get the best deal. A big Thanks to Adam and his team, all the staff was great but a special thanks to Joe, he was so educational and had the patience of a saint as he explained to my nervous kids how to connect to the zip lines and then back to the course , he had them do a few test runs and off they went. They loved it. We then decided to go on the Big Zip Line all together as a family. The kids wanted to race us so we all went at the same time. It goes so pretty fast and it looks like you are coming in way to fast but no worries Collin is there to grab ya on the other end. So much fun and amazingly views are. It was a super fabulous day. I just want to add that you may want to buy a pair of gloves for the kids. They are only $6:00 and they sell them with the tickets. Our experience at this venue was unfortunately not a positive one, with the value feeling quite poor. Despite the place being empty, we spent more time waiting in line than enjoying the attractions. The staff consisted entirely of teenagers, and we did not encounter any adults. The venue appeared run down and lacked clear signage. The cost of $90 per person covers three attractions, but guests are only permitted to participate once in each. Our group completed everything in just an hour and found ourselves with nothing left to do. As an alternative suggestion, consider visiting the Adventure Park in Wantagh. This park offers a beautiful, idyllic setting, a friendly and experienced adult staff, proper training, safety precautions, and, best of all, half the cost for unlimited rides! read more

Hi! I took my nephew Aiden there this past Saturday who's 10 yes old and is on the spectrum. He made it though the green and the blue levels but by the time he got to the red level he started to get scared and had a bit of meltdown. Your staff was so helpful, attentive, caring and patient. I really don't know how to thank them. They were truly amazing. Can you please let your staff know how grateful we are. Even though he had that moment, he still had fun in the end and he was proud of himself and so was I and the rest of his family. Please thank them over and over. I am actually very surprised to see positive reviews here. The experience that we had was disappointing to say the least. We waited an extremely long time to check in due to the lack of staff. The children's course is advertised for 5 and older, however both my 5 and 7 year old were able to do virtually nothing. I spent 75 dollars for them and myself to climb up a net and then climb right back down. After spending another 40 minutes on line with my children to speak to the manager, they refused to give a refund. I will never go back, nor would I recommend it to anyone with young children. read more

There is no signage telling which lot to park in. Then there is no signage telling where check-in is. Then there is a really long time to wait for the computer to load so that prepaid season passes can be used. Finally, I took two children on the course and discovered it is far too difficult for a six year old. At the very least, each child needs an adult to help them move the harness from activity to activity. I did feel it could be a safe experience for older children. Emily the manager does the best she can and makes amends for a bad situation - the computers that won't load. Without her, I would have wanted a refund. The "guides" are encouraging and patient. I have no issues with the employees. However, Wild Play Elements Park Company does a terrible job of customer service - fix your computers and rate the ages more appropriately. read more

Went there just in time for their end of season session (Nov). Parked in field 4 and used the underpass to get on the boardwalk. Would be nice to have more noticeable signage for the entrance. It was easy to see the structures from afar but took some time to figure out where to get in. If you bought tickets from their website and arrive past the ticket time, they generally will let you go at the next available time slot, usually in 20 minutes. You can't wear a backpack/bag and there's no one to watch your stuff, so either leave your stuff in the car, or there are lockers which cost $5. For paid parking, heard someone asking for WildPlay to credit them for the parking fee. Have to say their kids course is harder than I thought IMO. Saw some younger kids back out, so keep that in mind. The kids course is good for adults as well. Make sure to wear sneakers as you'll need solid footing, saw someone lose their shoe halfway. Staff is young but most of them nice, responsive and helpful. Each person in our group took between 30 to 45 minutes. There's no bathroom directly on site so suggest using the bathroom by Boardwalk Cafe before getting started. Overall a good time, great way to engage the body and mind, and appreciate the beautiful ocean view instead of screen time. read more

This literally help free my spirit and is good for relieving stress and helping mental health and also good building body strength! I have to admit that the moment I started going there, the very friendly staff feel like family to me. Emily, Sarah, Jenn, James, Joe, Tom, Taylor, and of course Adam all gave me the guide and courage I needed to navigate through my challenge of heights! The zipline itself has an amazing view and the place is wide out in the open. And their prices for unlimited ziplines and their prices for passes are amazing! Just $150 for full season of courses and $50 for a whole day of unlimited ziplining! Too bad I chose to go to when it got cold but come to next season I'll be ready for full time action! read more

Not a positive experience, and VERY poor value. Place empty yet spent more time waiting than using attractions. Staff was 100% teenagers, did not encounter one adult. Looked run down. No clear signage anywhere. Cost is $90 for the three attractions. You're only allowed to go on ONCE, my group finished everything in one hour, and left because there was nothing to do! Here's a tip, save yourself the money and aggravation, go to the Adventure Park in Wantagh. AWESOME EXPERIENCE!! The staff was very helpful, and friendly. Each member of the staff answered any and every question we had. They show you how to put on the harness and use the carabiner and zip line attachment prior to starting. Our guide on the course was Roy, who was awesome the entire time....explaining how to get thru certain challenging parts of the course. He was great! We did the classic course....and it was more challenging as it went on to each of the 3 sections of this course. I felt safe and secure the entire time. Keep in mind, the 3rd part is the most challenging and longest section. You can let your guide know at any point if you don't think you can make it any further. It will definitely test your balance, and be ready to use lots of hand, and arm strength to keep yourself steady. Push yourself and you'll be proud in the end. We even did the bigger separate zip line as well after doing the course, and that was fun. A great time all in all. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND AND WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK AGAIN. read more

Highkey racist! The employees suck they are lazy and every employee will tell u something different! My 8 year old niece was on the kids one since she not tall enough midway she got scared and wanted to get down but was too terrified to move . While making her decision the employee says "if she want to come down she has to do it know because I have a group coming up" okk?! I looked over the group it was a group of 4 white kids. She then proceeded to climb up and rush down my niece no words of encouragement or sympathy. Like I don't care if u have a group coming up I paid for this just like them! Moving forward to the adult section they teach u how to do the rides in mumbles like they don't want to be there ! When ur up on top the employees are no where to be found if u have a question. Also covid regulations doesn't exist here everyone is touching the same thing one of the ropes was completely wet of someone's sweat! If u ever get stuck good luck asking for help! read more

What a fun adventure! Initially we were a little skeptical due to the disorganization in the office. The girl overcharged one of us, then had to refund. And the closest bathroom was closed and she was unable to locate the key/could not tell us another bathroom option. It got much better after our initial encounter. Me and 2 friends did the classic ropes course. It starts off with them helping you put the harness on correctly and an overview of how to work through the course (we loved Alexa!). After that, you head on up. Basically each "pod" is a series of different "games", then you zipline to the next pod and so forth. You do go up a little high about halfway through, but there is an option to get off if you wanted. We kept going! There were some that were a breeze and some that were quite challenging. Overall it was a fun day. We moved at a quick pace and finished in a little less than an hour and a half. My only suggestion is that they should have an employee at each pod. There were many of them where no employee was present or even close, and we had some questions on how to navigate through some of the games. But all in all, I would recommend; it was a fun activity! read more
