Stumptown coffee and nitro cold brew, a handful of teas, and fearless bakery munchies. The music is nice, and not overpowering. Great place to have a conversation, or to wind down after work. We were in town visiting family over the long weekend. Today, I decided to walk down for a coffee and it was spectacular! The Barista and counter staff were super friendly, my coffee tasted like a dream and the atmosphere was really relaxing. Such a cute little place! Seriously, the best people to make your coffee. I come in at least once a week. Yesterday I ordered a couple drinks and a bagel. They had asked if I needed a drink carrier and I said, no.. Totally my fault! I walk out to my car and as I'm juggling to grab my keys, the coffee fell!! AHH, so embarrassing right? So I walk back in to reorder the vanilla latte. They said, oh another one? I said, no I dropped the other one. They quickly made another one and didn't even charge me. Outstanding customer service, even though it was totally my fault. Thanks Ladies! Wild Roots is a very cute, quaint little coffee shop. The gals behind the counter were very friendly. I got a white mocha with vanilla and hemp milk. It was oh so tasty! The iced white mocha is my favorite! Baked goods I find could improve. Not a huge selection there. However, the coffee is very good and always well prepared. The baristas all do a great job and my drink always tastes consistent regardless of who makes. Parking is iffy as there is construction next door and you can't always find a space to park. read more

While traveling north on Highway 97 on an all-day road trip, a friend and I stumbled across this small coffee shop and we fell in love with both the hot chocolate and white mochas on the menu here. Finally open! This will be our new when-we're-in-Bend coffee shop. Coffee is made by folks who care, and who recently completed barista artiste training. Nice selection of pastries and bagels, and a customer-operated toaster, so each one in perfect. Generous outside seating with a dog run, and ample parking. Nice big table up front for group seating. I don't get the whole buy local or else thing. what if it's mediocre? this place is unremarkable. they are not entitled to my business because they're not a chain. I'd almost rather just go to Starbuck's. I gave them a few weeks after they opened before trying them out. It's like they just copied another coffee shop and threw up some artwork on the walls. ta da. coffee shop. Staff seemed pretty unprepared for actual customers. It was empty when I came in in the afternoon, but if I paid employees to stand behind the counter and play with their phones, I'd scream. Stopped in while on a bike ride with the family. Hot day, thought we would get some iced green tea. We walked in just a couple customers sitting down and a young lady behind the counter. We waited patiently for 4 to 5 minutes then asked " do you have green tea?". The employee pointed to her headphone thing and said " I can't hear you"....ok...looked like she was busy working drive through but I'm 99 % sure they don't have one! Perplexing service.
