I used Manor Exxon Servicenter to get my car's yearly inspection. While my visit was pretty short, I really appreciated the service center's customer service and professionalism. I returned this past Sunday after 4 months to make an attempt to use the air machines and when I go inside cashier station it's the same rude cashier, he refuses to offer change and when I ask if the air machine is working he says he doesn't know. I ask if he could supervise the activation to make sure I don't lose more money and he refuses, then curses at me in front of other customers yelling to go to another station. This lunatic is extremely rude and could care less about his job much less representing his business with any decency. Turns out I went to another station that charged less yet offered much better customer service. This gas station has the highest gas prices in the area yet can't hire people with any class or offer basic customer service. Reviewing the service I received via telephone & in person. I called to see if they had an air pump for bikes & Greg told me they did. He also told me if I needed help when I arrived to stop inside. I didn't need the assistance, yet appreciated the offer. Being proactive I put a dollar's worth of quarters in my pocket & to my surprise, the air machine takes Apple Pay...innovation. I stop at this gas station only when absolutely necessary. Today, I was running low and had to stop. It is right off 270 and 495, in an affluent area, so their prices are always sky high. I paid $3.69 per gallon today, where other stations are not charging more than $3.29. So I did not fill all the way up. To top it off, the pumps are extremely S-L-O-W. So if you can make it a mile or so farther north to Rockville, keep on rolling past this one. read more

Let's talk about fraud. When you push the button for 87, turn around and pump gas, you expect you're getting that. When you turn back around and you've been charged five dollars a gallon for super, that's a problem. When you go inside and tell the guy at the counter that happened And you are dismissed with a "not my problem" in a waive of the hand, that's a real problem. This is called fraud. This is theft. Was there the evening of Saturday November 23rd, 2019. Set the pump to automatically fill the tank by setting the nozzle. The pump did not click off automatically until gas started spilling out down the side of my car ruining my shoes, pants and socks. Had to throw them away. Went there yesterday evening with my 3 toddlers in the car as an emergency for a low pressure tire that urgently needed air. What a terrible experience! First the person in charge (who btw was unpleasant) did not have quarters while the air machine accepts quarters only. My only alternative was to pay with credit card. Price doubles when you pay by credit card! Besides, the machine is in the dark with no light to see the tire pressure....so fill the air blindly! When I went back to politely complain to the person in charge, he did not care at all, laughing at me as he was enjoying my bas experience. Will never go back there again! read more

Trustworthy. My wife's car was having some drive ability issues on the road a couple of months ago and I had her pulled into this place. They took me right away and thank god for that. My brake calipers were this far from failing and if she'd gone any further, it would have been catastrophic. They pulled and replaced the calipers and fixed the brakes for us and the car's been running great ever since. The work was top notch, they were very accommodating and were very kind to take us on the fly. Plus they were much more reasonable than the stealerships. I would recommend them as the go to shop for your auto service needs. read more

I have used this Exxon in the past to have minor things like oil changes and tire patches done. I took my truck there last week to have a tire patch done on another tire. Picked it up, paid for it and left. On my way home noticed my passenger side mirror was broken. Took it back next day because I couldn't speak to anyone on the phone. They said, "didn't happen here". Couldn't have cared less about it either. I can't use them anymore. They have no integrity IMO. Own your mistakes and make them right by your customers. Bad business to lie through your teeth! If I could give them less than a star I would, just for this experience alone. It negates anything they've done in the past. read more

NOT trustworthy. I just had the worst experience with the Exxon Shop. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. Quick summary: I brought in my car to get light bulbs replaced, and drove away with the locks and the clock broken. Called twice, got no call back. Third call, manager refused to fix the issue for free. Wants me to pay for what they broke. This is the classic nightmare of mechanics causing issues in order to rip you off. Here is the detailed story: I called on Wednesday to make an appointment for Friday morning. I told the guy on the phone that I needed my dome light fixed and all light bulbs checked, because they keep going out. They said to bring it in anytime. I said I would come on Friday at 9:45 to have it done during my hair appointment 10-11. Friday morning: I walk in, they don't remember my call and have no note of it. I told the guy at the desk that I needed to have my dome light fixed as well as the tag light, and that I wanted all lights looked at because they keep going out one by one and I'd rather just replace them all than keep having to get pulled over and take the car in. 1 hour later: I call to check in. They still are not finished, need another 15 minutes. 30 minutes later: I come in. They have replaced two light bulbs but say they couldn't check all of them because they can't tell the difference between an old bulb and a new one, just can replace those that are already out. "Why didn't they tell me so on the phone or when I brought it in??", I wonder in annoyance. I ask about the dome light. They say I did not request the dome light be looked at. (????) They then have me wait while they look at the dome light. 30 minutes later: It is now noon. They say they tried to replace the dome light and it is not working because there must be a short. I am not surprised to hear this, because I had the bulb recently replaced and it has already gone back out, but that's why I left the car with them for 2 hours. They tell me that in order to fix the short I will need to come in another day. What. In. The. World. I drive home. When I park, I notice that my auto-locks and clock no longer work when the car is turned off. Now every day when I turn on the car, the clock turns on and starts at 1:00. Same day: I call to notify them of the new issues. I was told a manager would return my call. No return call. Saturday: No return call. Sunday: I call to remind them. Shop is closed, a nice guy took a message and said manager would return my call on Monday morning. Monday (today): Is noon and still no call from manager. I call and speak to him (Greg). He remembers my vehicle but refuses to take responsibility for the new issues that arose immediately from my visit with them. I said that I would be happy to pay for the dome light short, but that I want my locks and clock fixed for free since Exxon clearly caused the issue. He refused and said I would have to pay for all the repairs. He was very rude and short with me. He claims that "shorts happen all the time, and it is a COINCIDENCE" that two more shorts happened right when they were working on my car. So, in summary: I was charged $30 to have two light bulbs replaced, my dome light is still not working, and now neither are my clock and locks. I never received a word of apology from any of the three people there that I interacted with. Worst experience ever. I will never go back here. I am a young-looking woman and am prone to being taken advantage of when I bring my car in, but this place represents the absolute worst of repair-shop cliches: they are disorganized, dishonest, rude, slow, overpriced crooks. They showed no respect for my time, money, or well-being. I am thankful to Yelp for allowing me the chance to warn others. On an entirely separate note, I grew up here, and this station has always been known to have the most expensive gas in the area, which translates to some of the most expensive gas in the country. Receipt has the official name for this Exxon as 'Smith and Sons'. Fuel prices here are insane - 3.99$ when other parts of the state I saw about 3.69$. I asked a local at the pump and he basically said its in an affluent neighborhood and they use that as a reason to jack prices and rip you off.
