Place is beyond professional and comforting especially with Jess's customer service! very welcoming, helpful, and willing to explain everything as we needed... This place offers a wide variety of beautiful urns for you to choose from. Compared to other places that do not do that. Other places only other a few tiny basic boxes or card board tubes... they even show you the room and let you choose from the selection which I thought was very nice given such a hard situation. Sometimes its nice to have a little bit more control over how our loved ones come back to us. The way they do paw prints and nose prints is just much prettier and more thoughtful than other places as well.... I highly recommend coming here as its also veteran owned.. We made the difficult decision to put our baby boy to sleep at home & made pre-arrangements with Wildwood to pick him up afterwards. We called to see if they were able to pick him up a little earlier which they accommodated. was very kind & explained the process to us. One thing that made us a little uneasy is that our dog was placed in the trunk of her car. I think most people probably wouldn't have a problem with this & logically I know it's not a big deal but we were still very raw & emotional & felt unsettled. I became anxious while we waited for our dog to be cremated and felt like I needed to have one last good bye with him. For an extra charge, we were able to have a viewing at their facility. They allowed us to take all of the time we wanted & made him look so peaceful as if he were sleeping. They allowed us to watch the cremation which always sounded very morbid to me in the past but I believe this is what I needed to have some closure. They gave us some of his hair clippings and paw print in a frame. Everyone in their office was very kind and accommodating. We are eternally grateful for their compassionate services. read more

They very carefully took her and brought her to their establishment. When our cat was ready, they text us a date they would be doing deliveries and also gave us the option to come pick her up sooner if we wanted. We lost our dear Layla 6/14/26 who was our black lab. my wife got her as a pup two years prior to meeting me. Layla was 15 years old when she had passed, which most would say that is a very long bountiful life for a dog and any loving pet owner would say its never enough, but in our hearts we knew towards the end that once black lab who was playful and love to swim and play fetch started to become a little more slower, less playful and just wanted to sleep more throughout the day . We knew this day would come. We just wish like other friends and family's who lost dogs that it happened gradually so they made those best of those last days, unfortunately for us it came quick and we felt like we've been sideswiped. She passed at home naturally in mine and my wife's arms with us telling her that she could go to sleep now and that she's been a great pup to us over the years and she was a great big sister for our little girl Mila who is two years old now, which we only hoped Layla would still be around when we had a kid, and they would know who this lovable lab was. Obviously, if you're caring, loving pet owner, knowing your pet took their final breath in your arms is both hard but at the same time, you are also grateful that they saw you in their final moments and knew that they were leaving this earth with your love and embrace. Once we gathered ourselves both me and my wife knew we were always going to have Layla cremated. Like family dogs on my mom's side ,We have used some other services in the past and this is nothing against them but Wildwood when we came in contact with them in the early morning. They treated us with respect dignity and empathy so we knew we made the right choice. They explained the process from start to finish over the phone and not to mention their pricing is extremely affordable. It's obviously based off of the weight of your dog, but I can easily say they were anywhere from $200-300 cheaper than any other cremation place that we had contacted prior to them.But here is where they went the above and beyond, during the final moments when my wife was talking to Layla, she told Layla that she has to give us signs that she's still here with us and watching over us and a pretty butterfly would be one of those signs cause our daughter Mila loves butterflies and my wife loves butterflies. Wildwood was able to send out Natalie and Jess, who are two extremely professional and caring people that I feel are in the right field to be doing this! when they picked up Layla they treated her with respect and care. Natalie explained the whole process again to me , which they give you a tag with the serial number on it. This tag follows your dog the entire cremation process to ensure there is no mixups during the cremation process , one of the things I loved about Wildwood is they only do private cremations and not communal. Once she explained that whole process to me and we did the paperwork and payment. They took Layla out to the car and situated her, then let us know if we wanted to say one more goodbye to her we could and we did, although it was difficult. In the moment, my wife didn't recognize it obviously because she just lost her fur baby of 15 years. later she replayed it in her head and when Jess walked in before they got Layla ready to pick up and take. Jess was wearing a shirt that had a really pretty butterfly on it and since this was in the morning, there was a ray of sunlight shining in our living room, highlighting this beautiful butterfly on Jess's shirt. My wife knew then that Layla was ok and giving us our sign we asked for knowing that she was there with us in spirit. Where they went the extra mile though was, I reached back out to them asking if at all possible they were able to take a picture of that butterfly on Jess's shirt because it really meant a lot to my wife and she wants to get a tattoo of this butterfly on her hand, so Layla is always with her when she looks down. Natalie, who I reached out to said, of course, and she would pass this story and information on to Jess and the next day they sent the picture of the butterfly. This goes to show this company isn't Just in it for the money they genuinely care about the situation and are willing to do anything above and beyond to provide their customer exceptional service and they did. Not only did they come within one hour after we called them for a pick up they also returned Layla back in a beautiful box with a picture frame with her paw print her nose print and her fur as a memento all of this was included in the price no extra fees or charges. We are extremely blessed that we found Wildwood and like many pet owners. We hope to never have to use them anytime soon but if that time or when that time arises, we will be making a call to them given this exceptional service and how they treated our baby! read more

Wildwood Pet Cremation took excellent care of us with compassion and empathy after the heartbreaking loss of our baby Hudson on August 29th. We were looking for Private Cremation And Viewing services (we chose this following sanitary procedures) so I called in the afternoon of the passing and an appointment was set for the next morning. The owners and others there were respectful, kind, hard working and accommodating to our requests for additional keepsakes. We watched through the window as they took our baby's many paw prints and hair clippings while treating our baby's body with the most gentle love and care. As we waited for the cremation to finish in a provided waiting room, we were kept up to date with each step and process, At the end stage, we were told it was finished and if we wanted to look through the window and see the aftercare procedure. Afterwards, everything was brought out to the waiting room and shown to us (with my babies ashes still warm). They framed, bagged, boxed and packed up everything so gently and beautifully as we watched. Again, they were gentle and genuinely compassionate while talking to us, no rushing no fake sympathy as I've unfortunately seen before with other cremation places. The whole process took around 5 hours and we got the honor to bring our deceased baby here ourselves in dignity and take his aches and keepsakes back home on the same day. Very compassionate. Our baby girl "Royal" passed away late at night. I called them, and they were there within an hour even at 12:30 am. My wife was grieving, and they were so sympathetic. This wonderful group of angels took care of my babies who recently passed. They were incredibly amazing!! I lost my baby boy Rocky age 15yrs on Thanksgiving morning. They are loving and accommodating. our dog passed on the Fourth of July at and they came out here and picked up so beautifully wrapped in his blanket and took away and brought back to us in a beautiful setting.
