I called CPC yesterday to ask about services as we wanted to have our kitty cremated. The call taker was so patient with me and caring as I couldn't hold back my tears. She allowed me to ask all the question I had and not once sounded annoyed by them. They are a walk-in location, as they are now a sister company to West Coast Pet Memorial, who handles more services that CPC used to offer. I walked in today and Kehaulani was the friendliest and most compassionate employee I've ever dealt with at CPC in 30 years. She was thoughtful with answering my questions, she pointed out urn options, explained the process, and made sure all questions i had were answered. It's never easy losing a pet no matter the age and it is more comforting when you go to a service like this and the employee is compassionate and genuinely caring.

He connected with our primary vet and explained test results that I did not yet have. I felt like my concerns were all addressed. I have never had any vet or urgent pet care demonstrate such care. Although my pets health issue wasn't resolved I felt better when I left having a plan for my next steps. I was referral to a specialist that was able to see us that day. I can't give a them a high enough rating- they set the bar for superior pet care.

I should have thought twice when the driver showed up and pulled out a plastic bag to put his body into, I asked them not to do that while I was standing there, I found that rather insensitive. Today they called while I was on another call and as soon as I was finished I called the number back and the man who answered said that he was with Coral Cremations and he was going to bring my baby home and he'd be there within ten to fifteen minutes. He then calls me back and tells me that someone dropped him off and left him on my front porch. He lied and made me believe he had my baby and then says that he was dropped off on my front porch. So much for the @we'll call you and set up a dime to bring your baby back", and then to lie on top of that! Nowadays with hearing every day about packages being stolen from front porches I wonder what they would have said of that had happened, I mean you just left him on my front porch like he didn't mean a thing to me. No apology, no nothing. Shame on this business and think twice if you are ever in need of this type of service, the only thing they care about is collecting their fee with no thoughts to you and whatnot is like when you lose an animal who is like your family.

There was no change even with many lifestyle improvements, so we took him back to see Dr. Hall in August. I asked multiple times about his teeth and she assured me his teeth were fine during the exam. Today we took him back yet again and Dr. McAllister was able to point out immediately that he was severely in need of a dental cleaning and that his gums were infected! His back teeth were black, gums totally red, and now he might need extractions. It should not take three vet visits to point out a very SIMPLE PROBLEM. I would imagine that trained doctors would be able to look at the back teeth of a very calm, compliant cat. I thought I could trust them to see it better than I ever could. I'm glad that he's getting a dental cleaning soon, but I would recommend not trusting their doctors and getting a second opinion elsewhere. Yes, they are cheaper than other vets, but unfortunately it seems you get what you pay for. Don't trust just anyone- read the reviews and insist on more experienced doctors like Dr. McAllister.
