The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean and well maintained. Everything felt orderly and taken care of during our stay. If I had to make one complaint, it would be about the furniture in the room. The chairs that were provided were a bit too low for the height of the desk, which made it slightly uncomfortable to sit and work. Aside from that, I had no major issues with the room. I also noticed that the hallways throughout the hotel were very clean, which added to the overall positive impression. The continental breakfast was another highlight and offered the most options out of the three hotels we stayed at during the week. They had scrambled eggs, which unfortunately tasted like they were made from powdered eggs, but they also offered hard boiled eggs, which were very good. There were maple flavored kielbasa sausages for meat, along with waffles, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, and a good selection of pastries such as blueberry muffins and bagels. The variety made it easy to find something enjoyable for anyone. I also appreciated that coffee was available 24/7 near the front desk, which was convenient and meant I did not have to rely only on the continental breakfast area for coffee. One thing I do wish they had offered was regular cold water, since the only option available was hot water for tea.

The only downside was finding a cockroach in my room, which was disappointing. Additionally, the corridor had an old, musty smell. Overall, the location and service were excellent, but the cleanliness could be improved. Also, the breakfast is subpar with very limited option. No hard-boiled egg, bacon offered which is disappointing

Both my wife and I are nurses, and these features immediately stood out to us. When I raised my concerns, I was repeatedly told it was not an accessible room, despite the room's layout and features. Things got even worse on checkout day. At check-in, the front desk approved a 12:00 p.m. late checkout. However, housekeeping knocked on my door before noon and repeatedly insisted I had to leave at 11:00 a.m. I politely explained that I had been approved for a noon checkout, but she refused to believe me. I had to call the front desk while she stood outside my room just to confirm I was telling the truth. It was embarrassing, unnecessary, and completely unprofessional. I contacted General Manager Malena Gonzalez in good faith, hoping for a fair resolution. Although she later acknowledged that I had been approved for a noon checkout and apologized for the housekeeping misunderstanding, she still refused to offer any goodwill compensation or partial refund despite the overall experience. I have since escalated my concerns to Hotels.com and Choice Hotels Corporate. Customer service is measured by how problems are handled, and unfortunately, this hotel failed in that regard. I cannot recommend this property and will not be returning.

Days inn review We…read morearrived Friday at 12 midnight. Checked in. You have to carry your bags up the stairs (no elevator) very noisy place from freeway traffic and trains throughout the night. You can hear slamming doors etc and people talking. With the tv on I could hear the trains going past through the night. The sink in the room didn't have a drain stopper / cover. We mentioned it the next morning to the lady at the desk that didn't really care but did say they would take care of it but didn't. The ceiling had a weird cutout like they were trying to repair something. We asked for a wake up call Saturday morning it didn't happen. Lucky I was up anyways. If we overslept and were late to our event that would be sad. Don't rely on them for a wake up call set your own alarm. I watched the clerk the 2nd time write it down and again on Sunday no wake up call after he assured me it would work. Room was very clean. The maids didn't clean our room, replace towels, or make the bed during our stay. When we asked why we were told by the lady (a little unpleasant) at the front desk maybe we had our privacy sign out. We did not. She also says the door signs blow around due to heavy winds and they skip that room that it blows in front of. The breakfast was a continental breakfast which we knew after asking on the phone. Most people were going to Starbucks Nextdoor for better coffee. They had Danishes, pastries and waffles. The toaster needs replacing. The area for the breakfast is very small and we felt we were cramped for space. At least they had a tv showing the KTLA morning news. The bed at least had plugs that were accessible for CPAP machines and USB devices. For the value it definitely isn't four seasons and we didn't expect it to be. See sink picture and ceiling pictures. The ceiling looked weird. Room did need some paint also.

The staff is so recklessly dumb here, you won't believe it. So it was open and we tried to ask for one bowl of clam chowder. OH NO, stupid hostess Katelynn. She says to us, We are so busy, we can't let you have takeout. One effing bowl of chowder!!!! That's all my 85 yo mom is asking for. Get some training dear girl. You are an embarrassment to the establishment. Bye. For a Sunday...HIGH PASS! (Mostly the weekends) We've been coming to Morongo for the last 12 years...Circa 2026, we will probably find a new casino to go to. We have loved Morongo for many years! After the most recent renovations, we were excited to come here again. WOW, the GHETTO-NESS of it all. I can't even tell you how ghetto it has become. Sadly, the CLASSLESS people at the pool trying to claim loungers that weren't theirs and when confronted, their language in front of children was despicable and disgusting. Moving on to the newer restaurants at Morongo...there's nothing to write home about. The Mexican band next to Wahlburgers is incredibly TOO LOUD. We couldn't eat in any peace. Most of the smoking sections are not enclosed (yes there is one section enclosed by the entrance) but by the burger place, smoking is allowed in public by all tables. So while I'm trying to eat my burger, I'm bombarded by the loudest music and smoke coming from all ways in the air. At least my fries are piping Hot. Yamava, here we come next time. Sorry, Morongo. This just didn't work for any of us.

Fig and lavender infused (LI) goat cheese pizza was excellent. LI mixed drinks were very good, but the LI beer was a bit of a let down. Sour type beer is fine but lacked any lavender smell or taste. Maybe expecting too much. Advice- Use the washrooms in/by the old hotel lobby, avoid the ones on the side of building with the large Pennants saying 'restrooms.'...they are old hotel rooms with storage boxes all over. Note main food vendors by the music stage area but there are boutique vendors at one side of venue by the hotel, with the LI teas, coffees, ice cream etc. Most sell the same stuff ( teas, jams, olive oils, creams, lotions, nic-nacs, etc). Will go back again.

I'm sure a lot has been said already about HIGHLAND SPRINGS' FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS so I'll try not to bore you with a long and lengthy "this is what you can find here". I will try to give some tips though. - Come early. Yes, even before the lights turn on. This is beneficial for avoiding traffic, getting good parking spots, shorter food lines, shorter bathroom lines. - Get your food first. So you can walk off the calories. Also, because most people eat after an activity when they get hungry... and then the line will be super long. - Get whatever lavender they have. Hot cocoa, Latte... - Reserve a s'mores pit. When it's cold, it's the best. - Take pictures of everything everywhere. We consumed the following and they were GREAT! - Smoked Brisket Poutine - Clam Chowder in a Bread Bowl - Lavender Latte - Lavender Hot Chocolate

The second I spoke to one of the sons, I knew this place was going to be something special. I was right. Let me preface this by saying that this isn't a 5 star hotel. But it's a great place. It's clean, quiet, great location, and has carports and free wifi. The best part is the family feel, and the owners. We were traveling with a moving van and I made a comment about not having a padlock. Finished checking out, and started unloading, and one of the sons had found a padlock and a key for us to not only use, but keep. The staff here goes above and beyond to help their customers and their passion for their business shows. If I'm ever in the area I will definitely stay here again.
