Quick but not a job well done. i had them lay pavers for me next to my pool with gaps in between for turf. We laid out the design and decided on 3 in gaps between the pavers. The team knocked it out in 1.5 days which is great. Now that it's time to lay down the turf I'm having to spend a lot of extra time cutting turf to make it fit. I have 2.5 inch gaps, 2.75 inch gaps and of course a few 3 inch gaps. I guess I should have went out there with a tape measure to make sure it was getting done correctly but you pay for a service and expect it to be done the way you agreed upon. If you do use them just make sure you inspect everything along the way if you need a precision job done. read more

I was getting quotes from individual landscapers for a job to re-sod my lawn but these guys actually gave a lower than most that I'd already received and I could tell that they were going to be able to get this done quickly. It's been a while sinced the paver job and I have several more issues. They didn't properly seal one of the drains connecting to the gutter, It leaked out, must not have been glued. I have also discovered they dumped large amounts of excess concrete in our yard and hid it under existing pebbles. They also disposed of excess dirt and scraps througout the yard by buring it under the pebbles. They did not use polymeric sand on the pavers. The lightest rain washed out all the paver "sand." I'm starting to think they just used dirt. I had to do the entire polymeric sand job myself. It costs a lot and took a lot of my time. There are concrete drips all over the entire paver run. Pretty terrible job overall. In hind sight we should have just told them to leave. Do not use these guys if you want a good looking job. read more

Please do yourself a favor and move on to the next option. This company is extremely unprofessional and possibly one of the worse communicating companies that I have tried to hire. I was sent a contract for payment structure/plan options and was verbally agreeing to said terms. I blew off other estimates and after agreeing to terms via text I was told that they no longer offer any type of payment plans. I was advised that the gentleman I was communicating with did not have the authority to clear such structures and that they would not be able to honor the agreement. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I have requested to speak to someone on a management level to negotiate new terms and they do not have the courtesy to even call me back. I am yet to speak to anyone of authority.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]What happened is they got busy and have no desire to even communicate with me even though I have not stated that I wouldn't pay in full upon completion.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Very unprofessional and as a warning if a company cannot communicate they probably cannot do quality work. My experience with Viva was really frustrating and I was left with a poor taste in my mouth. I'd strongly recommend looking for a different company. Long story summarized first: [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their communication once the job started was horrendous, they NEVER called me when sending guys to my house, despite me asking numerous times for a heads up from their workers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The BIGGEST issue about the entire job is that they created a plumbing problem at my house and admitted they did not know how to fix the issue and left me to deal with the problem. I've had to call a plumbing company to come out and attempt to fix it (AT MY COST) and now I'm having to call another landscaping company to try and rectify the problem, before further damage is done to my house. Here is a longer breakdown of the timeline of my project for those who care to read further: - [[HIGHLIGHT]]I initially reached out to Viva September 2024 looking to have someone come out and give me an estimate. They sent someone out late September or early October to look everything over and discuss what was wanting to be done at my house.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I discussed needing a new sprinkler system, sod for about 1,000 sqft, and adding an electrical outlet/box across the yard (to be tapped off an existing outlet on my back wall). We discussed semantics but got everything ironed out. Few days later, I got a quote, approved the quote, and we agreed to start the job November 4, 2024. - [[HIGHLIGHT]]I take off from work 11/4 and 11/5, not knowing exactly how long the job would take, but I wanted to be home and available in case they needed me for input or questions. They tell me they'll be at my house 11/4 between 5-7am to start. I leave my phone on loud expecting a call before they arrived letting me know they were on their way. No call was placed, and they just showed up and rang my doorbell at 6am.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had to quickly get dressed and run out to meet them, which they promptly let themselves into my backyard to my findings. Already a bit annoyed no one called me to let me know they were on their way, [[HIGHLIGHT]]I discussed the timeline of the project with the 2 guys who showed up. They informed me the sprinklers would get done today (11/4) but the sod would show up anywhere between Wednesday (11/6) and Saturday (11/10). Their response threw me off, as I took time off in anticipation for the job.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I reluctantly agreed that it would be fine and I'll make it work schedule wise. Both guys who initially showed up left and 2 different guys come by to do the sprinklers. After a day of them working they are starting to wrap up the sprinkler work and I tell them I had to go somewhere else to help someone out, but I asked if they would test the sprinklers before going home. They said they would and they'd send me a video of the results. No video was sent of course. - 11/5 rolls around. I keep the day off work and think I just have a free day now since sod isn't expected till Wednesday at the earliest. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Low and behold, 2 guys go parading through my backyard to start work on the new outlet box. No one called me, no one rang the door bell, NOTHING. These guys just SHOW UP and invite themselves into my backyard.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I quickly ran out and asked them what they were doing at my house. "We're here to start the electrical work". Annoyed I go back inside and let them do what they need to do. After TWENTY minutes, they leave and don't come back. They drilled a hole in my concrete and left a PVC pipe sticking out of it. That was it. I had to CALL Viva and ask for an explanation. They told me that the 2 guys who showed up didn't have the right equipment and they'd be back Wednesday to finish (11/6). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Viva also informed me that the sod would be here Wednesday. So they expected the electrical work AND sod to be started and completed by Wednesday, job completely finished by Wednesday. Electrical work to be done in the AM, sod in the afternoon. I thought "great, all done by Wednesday and I can move on"[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] - 11/6 comes and I'm waiting and waiting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Noon rolls around and NO ONE is at my house, and not a single call. I go out front and realized the sod has been dropped off in my front yard but no one here to do anything with it. The electrical work hasn't been started either at this point (which that needed to get done prior to the sod being installed), so I had to call Viva AGAIN to discuss what the plan was since no one was there yet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm told that the main electrical guy was sick that day and couldn't make it but they were working on finding a solution. Thankfully a crew of several guys show up to complete the electrical work AND the sod. Few hours go by and the job gets wrapped up. I go out to inspect everything and at face value it looks good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I expected someone to pull me aside to discuss all the completed work and show me how to use the new sprinkler box. NOPE. All the guys left without saying a word.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Then the sprinklers created the problem mentioned above. Knocking in my walls when they turn on. **Updated** while I wasn't thrilled with the quality of work and it's been a long process, Viva Landscape has excellent customer service. They did everything they could to make it right, even 6 months later. They came by multiple times, routinely checked how the lawn was doing etc. I would be willing to give them another shot in the future since I think the initial job was just rushed. read more

They came at 540 in the am to ensure I was taken care of as soon as possible. Had me switch grass types to a more appropriate one after giving me excellent advice and consultation, then helped me accommodate for the cost increase.
