I had issues with my daughter's honda accord, so I went online and booked an appt. Mike was like clockwork and called me first thing the following morning. I gave him the history of the car that lead up to the issues and he assured me he would take care of the issue/s. His follow though was excellent. I recently went to Wilhelm for an oil change special and received an estimate for $4,335.58 for repairs on my 2001 RX300. I was skeptical, so we just had the special done and took my vehicle to another auto repair shop with the total cost of $500.00!!! When we showed him the estimate for repairs and everything listed as "leaking", the auto mechanic laughed and stated that I wouldn't have been able to drive the vehicle if all these things were wrong! Now my car runs great, and I will never use Wilhelm again!! Cannot be trusted!!! read more

I was very disappointed with their estimate. Like too many auto repair shops, when you take your car in for a specific repair, low and behold, they have found some other repairs you NEED. I needed my radiator replaced so I went for an estimate. The estimate they gave me included an air conditioning service?? The total estimate was more than my 2001 cavalier was worth. When I explained that I just wanted my radiator repaired they just looked at me. I went directly to Radiator King in Scottsdale where my car was repaired for a third of Wilhelms, estimate and no hassle or added costs. . It has been over a month with no problems and they gave me a two year guarantee on my radiator. Radiator King is a full service garage and will be doing ally automotive work for now on,for both of my cars. My AC still works just fine without any work on it, just like it was when I went for an estimate. read more

The mechanics do a great job of repairing your vehicle and the work is done based on a fair repair price. I don't know about their service quality because I didn't even get that far. They wanted to charge me $124 for a diagnostic test to change my spark plugs. When I asked if they can just change the spark plugs, they scoffed and were really obnoxious. Ended up going to Tobias Auto. read more

I would not go here unless you want to be taken advantage of. I went in for an AC diagnostic test for $25. They quoted me a price of $1,300 to fix it because supposedly my AC compressor was cracked. That was way out of budget so I declined. Instead I purchases a $40 DIY AC recharge kit to see if it could hold any freon. Lo and behold several months later it is still blowing cold. If the compressor was cracked the recharge would not have worked. Also, my brother went in for some work and they redid his transmission without his permission and charged him several thousand dollars. Basically they are a bunch of scammers and charge people for things they don't need. read more

Used to live in Cave Creek and they took good care of both our vehicles with great service and competitive prices. 4 years later, back in the area, sent my son in with his car for a serpentine belt replacement. That repair was fine and fair. What was NOT fine and fair was the estimate for replacement of ALL 4 Engine and Transmission mounts to the tune of 980.00!!! They also recommended a bogus A/C repair of around 400.00 We had only recently purchased the car used from a reputable dealer and knew from the service records we received that they had been replaced just prior to our purchase. When we took it back to dealer to check it out, they actually brought us into the bay to show us which ones they replaced and confirm that the other mounts were fine. When we asked about the A/C they also showed us the brand new parts that were NOT leaking. It is such a shame when a good and honest business goes bad. I will NEVER go back and warn everyone to be on the look out for bogus and *expensive* repairs if decided to ignore warnings and use them anyway. ***BUYER BEWARE!** read more

I would highly recommend taking your car here. The staff was very friendly. We were in town for vacation and got our car back quickly and after calling around to check pricing, they were the lowest. When there was a need they jumped on it immediately and were very responsive. I even received a follow up call and thank you note. I have never received such wonderful customer service from a maintenance place including the most high end places such as BMW. Took my 2012 Honda Odyssey in for service. At 60,000 miles Honda says to replace timing belt. $$$$. Wilhelm estimate was less than dealer. Their certified mechanic checked and determined the timing belt did not need replacing. Complete check of van. Good to go. 0$. That is real savings and peace of mind. I want to thank you for the excellent service I received. My Chevy Tahoe had a list of repairs I wanted to get done and I am glad Wilhelm was there. I don't like getting auto repairs as they can get costly. I get that uneasy feeling in my stomach every time I have to deal with auto repair shops. Wilhelm totally changed my experience around.
