Loved this place. I was driving to work from Avondale to this area, which I believe is like north Scottsdale? But anyways, 30 minutes into my hour 15 drive to work, my skid plate literally comes off and is hanging my a bolt. If you don't know what that is, it's like an aluminum piece that's pretty big, but not in terms of thickness. Just overall size. So you can imagine what that sound was like dragging on the freeway for the remaining 50 minutes of my drive. I found them on yelp, told them about my situation. I took my truck here for a fuel pump replacement. Unfortunately, after the repair, when I pump gas now, often times fuel sprays out of the tank. It doesn't matter what gas pump I use or how much is in the tank. It has something to do with the vent tube not letting air release. I took the truck in a second time. I received my truck back after they claimed to have fixed it. I am still getting sprayed with gas. I was also charged on my second visit for this "repair" problem that Husbands caused and they didn't fix. I complained about that and they took off part of the charge but still charged me for gas. I should charge them for the gas I've lost because of them and the time I've lost. If they would like to make it right, call me. I'm the black, GMC truck. read more

I brought my car there to get repaired. They said they fixed the air conditioning. I had them drop my car off to my house via tow truck. After the car came off the truck I turned the AC on it blew out dust and did not blow out cool air. I called the husband's auto and they stated that the air conditioning was blowing cold in their shop. Which is funny that it was blowing out dust because that shows me that it wasn't turned on since I dropped the car off because I let the car sit for a few years prior to that. Anyways, they refused to help me refund me or anything. So I brought the car to a Mercedes certified dealer repair place and all they had to do was simply refill the coolant. And it's been over a year since they did that and it still hasn't leaked or anything. So that tells me that husband's auto is horrible. Does not know what they're doing and also they're not willing to help if something goes wrong or refund you. I highly recommend you do not use this place if you care about your vehicle and money Luckily, American Express refunded me my money after bringing my car to a certified Mercedes place and having them prove to American Express that husband's auto messed up. read more

You will not find a nicer family in the vehicle repair business. I noticed late one day that my coolant was leaking. I did not have time to get my car to the Lincoln dealer because it was late and it is way across town. I found this shop on Yelp and stopped by close to 5:00 without an appointment. Dale was at the desk when I went in and he came out immediately to take a look at my vehicle. He could see the fluid leaking, but could not visibly see exactly where it was coming from. He said it could be a simple hose leak or possibly the water pump. He would have to do a pressure test and look at it in more detail to determine the potential problem. Dale said if it was the water pump he could fix it but he recommended taking it to the dealership since it was a warranty issue. How many shops are going to be this honest with you when the job is sitting right in front of them? I had to leave town the next afternoon and was driving. I unfortunately could not get into the dealership for service that next morning so Dale said to bring it back to him in the morning and he would try to move it to the front of his schedule and take a look at it to see if it was safe to drive. When I arrived at the shop the next day his wife was there with him. I had planned on dropping the car off and taking an Uber home while the car was worked on. Dale's wife offered to give me a ride home and I initially declined knowing they are a small shop and they were very busy. His wife insisted it was not a problem, so gratefully I accepted. She is an incredibly nice person, and we had a great conversation about our kids and family's on the drive. Now I am not sure if rides like this are something they do regularly, or if it was just based on timing and circumstance. I do know it is not the norm for smaller shops, but regardless it was greatly appreciated and definitely not expected. After Dale had a chance to look at everything he called me and told me that the pressure test was good and that he was fairly certain that it was indeed the water pump. He again stated he could do the work, but recommended taking it in to get done under warranty. I luckily was able to borrow a car for my trip and later got my car to the dealership. Dale was 100% correct about the water pump. It was replaced under warranty. Dale and his family took care of me with absolute honesty and did not try to take advantage of my situation. In fact they probably lost money on the time they spent on me and my vehicle. Their customer service will definitely pay off in the future as I will without a doubt take my car and my kids cars to them for every non warranty issue going forward. My husband has a 1995 Ford Mustang and we just had the transmission rebuilt in July so the clutch needed to be adjusted but he was not able to do the work himself so he took it to Husband's Automotive and they found the clutch cable twisted and not adjusted correctly.They recommend replacing the Clutch Cable ,So happy they will do the work for us ! INCREDIBLE SERVICE AND TRULY LOOKING OUT FOR THE CUSTOMER. This was my first time at Husband's Automotive. The AC in my car was not working properly. I took it in to Husband's automotive and they found a leak that had been a recurring issue for my car. Bill told me to check with the dealer if they extended the warranty for this issue before he placed a rather expensive order for the new part. There ended up being an extended warranty, and I am now able to hopefully get the AC fixed under warranty by my dealer. AND after all that, he didn't charge me for the labor needed to check the AC system. I am amazed by the service and integrity of Bill and this business. We learned the hard way by going to a big corporate car shop for an alignment and they recommended over $3,000 worth of work that wasn't necessary! Our neighbor recommended Husband's to us about five years ago and we have been taking our cars there ever since. They are honest, do quality work, and are priced fairly. Their service recommendations are clearly explained and make sense. For example our 2010 Mazda CX-9 was leaking oil recently and needed some parts replaced. They also recommended replacing the belts at the same time as it wouldn't be any additional labor costs with the work they were already doing and could save on repair bills down the road. Repairs are done right the first time - I've never had to take a vehicle back since something wasn't done correctly. I HAD been a long term customer until I called today for an estimate to replace a radiator on my BMW. After obtaining 3 quotes from other reputable automotive shops, I was sure Husband's was going to be less and to my surprise $200 MORE (and all quotes were for a BMW radiator , not an off-brand ). FORGET IT Husband's , I will not return. They didn't even offer to price match and quite frankly very rude . Pretty sure I spoke with the owner. Seems they don't even value repeat business.
