Once again I am in awe of Michelle's professionalism, legal knowledge, court-room demeanor and heart. Michelle just defended my daughter for a second time from new charges stemming from an arrest back in April of this year. (See my review of 4/13/2016) Since April, my daughter has been doing wonderfully. However, a mess occurred when more charges were filled four months after the fact that could potentially have require my daughter to spend time in jail. I called Michelle concerning these new late-filled charges and she took control immediately. At court, Michelle worked around a prosecutor who was determined to hold a hard line concerning the charges. Many times throughout the proceedings, Michelle talked to the prosecutor trying to convince him to see this case in light of the tremendous success of my daughter - but to no avail. The prosecutor wasn't interested. Michelle then appealed directly to the judge. Her belief in my daughter was so true and heartfelt that it transferred to the judge who ultimately struck down the prosecutor's recommendations, praised my daughter for her determination and success and set fair, but strong, requirements for my daughter to follow that will help her to continue on the great path she is on. Long story short, I ended up in a fight one night over something really dumb and next thing you know, I get hit with a felony assault charge against someone I used to be good friends with (but had not seen in years). I thought the charge was bogus, but I had to deal with it so I checked out some reviews on this site avvo for lawyers and found Will & Will. I called them up and met with them that same day. Court walked me through the entire process, heard me out, and I hired him on the spot. After doing a bunch of witness interviews, they told me things were looking good. I wasn't sure what exactly this meant as I have never been in this situation before and I was nervous after looking up how bad things could get with a case like mine. Fast forward through 6-7 court appearances and setting the case for trial, the Will's kept on pushing for the deal they thought was good (and I wanted) and they finally got it. To this day, I still can't believe I was even arrested in the first place, but the good news is I picked great lawyers and walked away with no felony and my freedom!!
