I couldn't be more unsatisfied with a law firm. At our consultation to discuss trial strategy I left feeling completely unheard. They never asked my side, just tried to get me to plead guilty and accept a prison sentence Robert tried to soften the blow by telling me the pros of good time. I never spoke to him again and outright refused to communicate with them after losing all faith in them having my best interest. I hired another attorney that actually had relationships within Snohomish county(they don't) and ultimately accepted a plea offer of no jail time and a misdemeanor. These so called attorneys only made my situation go from one felony to 3 felony's. Before I made the right decision to fire them. If you are facing any significant adversity from the prosecution office this is not an office that has qualified trial attorneys to litigate your case. Their only real interest is your money. Either because they are just unsure about their abilities, or I felt like they were hard to talk to and work with. I'm so very happy for reaching out to Beckwith Law Firm, specifically Nadine L. Bertman. From the very first conversation, she made me felt comfortable. Of course, there are no guaranteed to the outcome of the case, but Nadine was very easy to talk to. She was poised, calmed and collective. More importantly, she listened to what I had to say. She was very thorough in explaining what the steps were and what I can expect. This case keeps getting dragged on by the court and it took over 4 months but, in the end, it worked out perfectly. During the multiple court dates, her arguments were on par and conclusive. I retained Nadine 12/20/2021 for my sons DUI case payed in full $4000 next day my son was scheduled front of the Judge and she never showed up, he ended up with public lawyer on his side. I asked for refund and waited for apology or explanation, and I never got it. 0 stars if I could. I came to Beckwith Law in 2013 when I learned of a serious criminal accusation against me. They represented me when dealing with the investigating detectives and prosecutor. The prosecutor declined to file charges based on the work Beckwith Law did, and I am glad I had them on my side. While the whole ordeal was scary and stressful, they walked me through every step and made me feel like I had some control and was doing the right things. After a completely fabricated alegation, Cristine Beckwith heard our case and assured us that she had the skill and knowledge to represent us going forward. Upon accepting our case she charged us $20k and assigned a co-counsel who had no experience with a severe, complex case like ours. We found this out after the fact. Later, Cristine charged us even more money to hire an investigator who actually conducted interviews with most of the witnesses. After two years of continuances in our case, Cristine told us she had a plea deal and it was the best we would receive from the prosecutor. We told her that we had confidence in our case and wanted her to go forward and represent us at trial, as per our signed contract. Cristine reiterated that a plea was the best we could expect. She later called us to her office and told us she could no longer represent us and introduced us to another attorney in a different firm, requiring and additional $10k. Cristine returned only $5k of her original fee when she "couldn't" continue. We went to trial with the new attorney's representation and were acquitted. Cristine's legal representation was no more than we could have easily received from a public defender. read more

My experience with Beckwith Law group was awful. An unlawful arrest was made and we contacted Beckwith Law to help us get through the legal aspects of the case. Initially they made us many promises and had us sign a high cost contract right away. After signing, there was very little communication from our appointed Lawyer (Nadine Bertman). We ended up having to contact her for updates. We were promised our case would be dismissed, but after consulting with other lawyers, they assured us that our case would be dismissed anyway and that we probably did not need representation. Our case was dismissed (we found out of the day before the trial by contacting our lawyer), but she would not provide details on any work they had done towards our case. As far as we can tell, we paid the office a huge fee (money which we do not have, especially during a PANDEMIC!) and our case was dismissed by the DA anyway, leaving us wondering what the law group did for us? Afterwards we contacted them to see if they had helped get our EMS fee (another two thousand dollars we do not have, that they initially promised to assist with) dismissed, and to get a complaint filed against the arresting officer who's use of force was far too great. Unfortunately, our Lawyer Nadine told us that we were now on our own to deal with the rest of the problems that came with the experience. Upon contacting them, begging for help, Nadine was extremely rude to us on the phone, telling us that she is "Not our mamma or personal assistant" and even hanging up on me as well. It seems to me this group is only in it for the money and could care less about any of their clients, despite promising to help take care of everything during this extremely stressful and traumatic time. After they got paid, any sympathy they had for us, vanished. I would not recommend this unprofessional group, if I could give them 0 stars I would. I urge you to go elsewhere. They are not on YOUR side; they are out for themselves. read more
