The customization option is very thorough and enables you to truly make your gift look just right. There was a detailed list of items, designs, and themes to pick from. Leigh is amazing to work with! She emailed me promptly to confirm she had received the order and also sent me follow-up pictures to ensure I liked the box and its contents before it got sent out. I had a minor change to make and she made it quickly. The box was received in less than a week of my ordering it, which was much faster than I had allotted for. If you're looking for a place to send gift baskets, this is definitely it!

I had no idea who to use in Oregon, but I came across Bella Vino in an internet search and liked their unique baskets. Leigh did an amazing job. I couldn't be happier and friend loved it. I especially liked how Leigh included items for the whole family, including dog biscuits! The basket was beautiful, creative, and a big hit. I was also really impressed my interaction with Leigh. She was super quick to respond and sent pictures of the finished basket with a list of items for my approval. I also got to give my thoughts prior to the basket being created. The process was fabulous. I highly recommend Leigh and Bella Vino. Great company!

I was looking for a nightstand and found one I loved, along with a farm bench I was not currently shopping for, by the same vendor. Though both were very reasonably priced, it was a little more than I had planned to spend this day. I asked the owner if she would see if the vendor might consider a bundle discount. She was very sweet and quick to consider and follow through with my request. The vendor also quickly offered a discount for which I was extremely grateful. During this chat I had measured and was sad to figure out the bench would be too big. I happily took the nightstand and meanwhile the owner followed up with the vendor and me to hook me up with a brand new bench the vendor had been working on that was exactly the size I needed. The owner stayed in prompt and consistent touch with me, and I now have a bench that I adore, perfect size, and the store and vendor still honored the initial discussed discount without my asking again. I have always found adorable, unique, special pieces and decor at great prices. Please give this store your business and bring your friends, you'll be as happy as me!

My 14 year old was adding Jellycats to her wishlist but did get the pistachio. She got some fidgets for her and her 10 year old sister who didn't want to shop today. Good Day Yelpies,…read more From the outside, this place looks absolutely amazing--its long-standing history as an independently owned business is what drew my wife and me in for some furniture shopping. As many of you know, furniture is a long-term investment, and the shopping experience should come with attentive, knowledgeable staff who help guide you through that process. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience. From the moment we walked in, we felt more observed than welcomed. One employee made eye contact and immediately turned away, and as we continued browsing--essentially left to "prospect" on our own--there was little effort to engage or assist us. On our way out, another staff member offered a brief hello but never followed up to ask if we needed help. When you're making a significant purchase like furniture, customer service matters just as much as the product. Sadly, this visit left us feeling overlooked rather than valued. We later found our couch at another location and will receive it in 30 to 60 days due to the customization we requested. We are happy to have found a place that truly understood what we were looking for our home.

I usually commute by bike, so that's a bigger deal, especially since it takes some cycling on less than ideal streets to get there. I recently needed some wound management supplies. On the way home, my friend stopped by Bi-Mart first. I am a big fan. They didn't have what we needed. We went by Rite-Aid knowing they are usually the most expensive. They apparently carried one of the items we needed, but they were out of stock. We did take note of the price. I waited in line to ask the pharmacist in case they had some other things in back that weren't on the shelf. They told me to go talk to the other part of the store as they just dispense medication. Another line, and I got a cold, "Nope; if it's not on the shelf we ain't got it." We were going to head out to the other Bi-Mart and Safeway next, but decided to stop at Rice's on the way. I am glad we did. My friend didn't want to stop there, but my friend's mind has now been changed. Not only did they have all the items we needed, the prices were much more affordable. Did I mention the staff is very friendly? No. I guess I didn't. Well, they are. Helpful and friendly. Even though it's out of the way, I think I'm going to tell my doctors to change all my prescriptions to Rices. If that helps keep them in business, it's a no-brainer. Small independent shop that cares about the community, unlike Rite-Aid which is a huge corporation - allegedly number 148 in the Fortune 500. Far more personable. It reminds me of growing up in the '70s. One of our neighbors was a pharmacist at an independent drug store nearby. We always used that pharmacy for the same reasons I'll always use Rice's now.

A fun decor feature is their display of completed Playmobil sets on shelves around the perimeter of the north side of the store -- some of the sets our own grown offspring had as children. We found a few treasures to purchase, including a fun looking 1000 piece puzzle. The store staff were cordial and helpful, even if they were not going out of their way to greet everyone who came through the doors. One big plus for us, after walking around downtown Corvallis for a few hours, is they have public restrooms available! You have to ask for a key at the checkout counter, but the restrooms are very clean and well maintained; and for those with very small children, there are full-sized changing tables. We often find ourselves being sort of "restroom snobs" when it comes to shops and restaurants; but we find the condition of the bathroom is often an accurate indicator of the rest of the facility. Anyway, The Toy Factory is a wonderful little shop, and I highly recommend it.
