We had TGR design and install this pergola, and the experience was excellent from start to finish…read more Martin took the time to understand how we wanted to use the space and designed something that fit both the layout of the yard and the style of the house. This wasn't a pre-fab or generic solution, it feels custom and well thought out. The installation was clean and professional. Posts are perfectly set, the structure is solid, and the attention to detail really shows. Everything feels sturdy, intentional, and built to last. This pergola completely transformed our outdoor space and turned an unused area into a functional and inviting gathering spot. Communication was easy throughout the project, and it's clear Martin takes pride in his work. Highly recommend TGR and would absolutely use them again for future projects.

This is a mixed review since there is good and bad to mention. I contracted with this company to…read morereplace my siding and double decks. This wasn't the lowest priced bid, yet it also wasn't the outrageously high quotes I received from other companies. I was very excited to finally get this work done. At the same time I was working with TGR, I was also contracted with a roofing company, a painter, and a gate company. In the end, the only company I had problems with was TGR Construction Co. There are things I wasn't prepared for in this process, such as my pictures falling off the walls during the siding tear off or the cracks in the ceiling and walls created with the tear off, of which they tried to tell me all these NEW cracks (I live in this home) are due to normal settling of my home and said all houses settle with time and this is normal and not due to the siding job. I know it's not a coincidence these new and sudden 'settling' cracks appeared with the siding work. They broke through the ceiling upstairs and they did own up to this, maybe because it's hard to justify 'normal' settling with sudden stucco all over the floor. There were structural issues that arose during the project, at nobody's fault, that ended up costing me $11K more than my contract. Then I was also charged $4900 more to remove windows and have them reset. Btw, three other companies included the window removal and reset in their contract. It was considered standard for other companies. After the siding and decks were done, I was left with HVAC refrigerant lines on the ground and blocking doors and windows for my tenants, wires dangling under the deck staircase, the Radon remediation system wasn't reattached correctly and sparked scaring a HVAC technician and me, a deck rail was reset too low, refrigerant line covers were accidentally thrown out, and my daughter and I each did double sweeps for nails left behind when work was done. It took almost two months of asking for them to resolve these unresolved issues before some things were finally done. Jan 20th, three months after the crew left, I finally had the last unresolved issue handled. As a consumer, when I contract with a company, I expect to have the job done right without unnecessary stress. That did not happen here. On the POSITIVE, the crew is hardworking and really nice guys. The siding and double decks look great now. My home underwent a metamorphosis and is now beautiful and I receive compliments. I had crappy, rotting decks replaced with sturdy decks. This is the only reason I give a 2 rating instead of lower. All the mishaps, repair delays, and stood up appointments made this extremely frustrating and stressful. Could I have achieved my desired results without the frustration? I'm sure I could have with a different company. Buyer beware! Educate yourself on all steps that need to be in your contract. Make sure the removal of your windows for proper flashing is in the contract. I know A LOT of people and all my other contractors received more jobs through my recommendations. I know currently four people who are looking for a recommendation for siding, yet I can't recommend TGR Construction.

Mitigation of a roof leak after rain/wind storm…read more I woke up the day before my flight to visit family for the holidays and found a puddle on my living room floor. It turned out to be a leak that soaked two walls, and I had to find help fast. Oregon Restoration replied to me immediately while other companies took hours to respond. Their friendly office staff calmly walked me through what to expect in the process and sent help that day. Danny arrived right on time and was friendly, professional, and thorough. He let me look at his instruments as he assessed the extent of the damage, shared pictures with me, explained what they would do and helped me understand next steps. After that as I was traveling, he kept in contact with me to make sure I knew what was happening at home. He also worked with my roommates to help them understand what was happening and arrange work visits. Every person on his team was respectful and helpful, and they checked the progress of the drying process regularly. Danny worked with my insurance adjuster to make sure everything went forward smoothly. I found the team helpful, responsive, and diligent, and I've contracted with Oregon Restoration for the repair portion of this journey as well. Thanks so much Danny! This would have been a nightmare without you.

When the significant leak from my dishwasher was discovered, I researched restoration companies,…read moreand (thanks to Yelp) found Oregon Restoration. The staff at the company, from estimation of damage services (Matt) to project managment (Danny and Meghan) was excellent. Each stage was explained, questions answered, options laid out, and actions scheduled. Company representatives negotiated well with my insurance company. And the "back office' staff were most heklpful in setting up payment services. Although (as so often with reconstruction) more problems due to leakage were discovered as the project progressed, leading to a longer project time than expected, I always felt I was in good hands. No detail was too small to be addressed, and "doing the job right" was al ways a high priority. My kitchen has been more than restored: it has been improved, and the results are beautiful. I am very pleased with my eperience with Oreogn Restoration, and would choose them again.

The Assistant Carpenter was also extremely conscientious when it came to dismantling the windows, frames, and wood work. Jorge was replaced by Sergey to do cutting for the final three days of construction and finish work. The final product was worth every minute. All of the joints were airtight. Each miter cut was exact. John is a cabinet maker and it is evident every time I look at my new windows. They were able to maintain the visual harmony of design that you find in some of your nicer 100 plus year old Craftsman houses. They came to us with glowing references from acquaintances and surpassed what were already high expectations. Thank you, James, John, Jorge, and Sergey. We will call you for our next project.

I really feel like he took the time to get to know me not just the repair. Building that rapport with clients is crucial and he gets that! Our window sill had wood rot and when they got in there it was worse than we originally thought, but we were updated throughout the process. I really loved the online dashboard with daily updates and pictures of the work completed. I felt confident that I always knew what was being accomplished. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for your next project!

Finally, we picked out the Quartz countertop and couldn't be happier! The measurements were precise and taken by a very experienced technician. Even having it done at the beach (which is always difficult to get anything done) I highly recommend them (which we have already done with the neighbors)

These people gouged my kitchen wall while installing a countertop and wouldn't repair it or cover…read morethe cost of repair. They told me it was something that could happen during installation. Five years later, the undermount kitchen sink they installed in the same granite countertop dropped and caused a leak. I had a plumber come out and he video'd the mounts they used to install the sink and thought the length of the wood they used was too short. We both thought the bracket may have failed because of that. I called precision and told them what happened and supplied them with pics and video. They wanted to charge me to come out and reinstall the sink and, by the way, if plumbing had to be removed and then re-installed, that would require a visit from a plumber. I asked another countertop installer to come fix the sink but they won't touch other people's mistakes. My sink is being held in place by a car jack. At least the plumber fixed my leak.
