This is our second visit to Willamette winery for the holidays! Beautiful restaurant with views of the vineyard and surrounding valley, the interior is cozy with a fireplace and glass enclosed dining areas! The patio is a must in the spring or summer. The servers were very knowledgeable and friendly; taking extra time to talk in detail about each wine . The charcuterie platter had many options with cured meats, pickled vegetables, jam, mustard, mild cheeses and crackers. I enjoyed the small bites to enjoy with a variety of red and white wines. The burger was slightly charred and juicy with a side of savory truffle fries-- Delicious!! Tip- this place gets very busy, suggest a reservation to guarantee a table with a server to discuss wine pairings, otherwise, you may have to enjoy the extra seating upstairs and along the bar at the main level. read more

Team here for Mother's Day yesterday and had a great time and experience. The food was delicious. The wine is tasty as it should be and I wasn't disappointed. The views are great. It was a little cloudy but still nice outside. I love the interior and I love the service and they have these delicious chocolates that they sell. The Mother's Day had a $75 down payment or something like that for a bottle of wine as well. They also have a fire pit inside. I'll definitely be coming here again. I also recommend subscribing you get a bottle of wine each month and you can pick and choose if you don't want the one that they're gonna be sending and getting invited to events and what not just like all the wineries, but this one seemed a little different. read more

It was our first time here and we enjoyed a tasting and lunch out on the patio, taking in the gorgeous vista on very warm late September afternoon. Since we were on the patio, the process was to get a wine glass and your first taste at the station outside, and then go back for each additional pour. if you want food, you also order at the outside station and they give you a number to place in your table. We enjoyed the whites, but personally I was excited to get to the reds. Both of the Pinots were wonderful, a bit more on the bolder side which I prefer. While it wasn't on the tasting menu, I had a glass of of the Metis, a red blend of grapes from Walla Walla. For me, it's so satisfying on its own or with a meal, and why I bought a few bottles to take home. Whenever we visit one of the Willamette Valley Bineyard locations, we plan on having our meal there because the food is always high quality, large portions, fresh ingredients, and delicious. This proved true for the Turner location. We shared a humus and veggie platter which was a great starter. Then for lunch, I ordered the shrimp dish and it was fabulous! There were six jumbo shrimp cooked to perfection in a pesto sauce, served with grilled tomatoes, shaved Parmesan, and two slices of grilled baguette. Enough for dinner, or in my case, half for lunch, half for dinner later. My friends were equally happy with their meals, one a vegan pasta dish; the other, a salad with feta. In addition to the patio, there was ample seating inside where we moved for our final pour because we needed some AC. This is a very large vineyard with several parking areas. It gets super crowded in nice weather or when they are hosting events. For those that are challenged walking distances and up hill, try to park in the lot just past the main door to the tasting room. There are a few handicapped spots there. I was 5 weeks post a major surgery and all those spots were full. There was no way I could have walked from the lower level and up the hill, thankfully, they provided a free shuttle van that perused the parking areas offering rides. Yes, please! The driver told me to have the hostess call him when I was ready to leave, and sure enough, he came back to give me a ride to my car. Without this service, I honestly would not be able to visit this location. All and all, it was a lovely afternoon filled beautiful views, delicious wine and food. read more

This was a fantastic wine tour with an incredible "Wine Ambassador", Quinn. He walked us around through the process and curated our wine selection. I love gaining new knowledge and Quinn was fantastic at conveying information in such a kind way. My wife loved the tour and both of us agree, this is the high bar a vineyard needs to hit for an amazing experience. We recommend the 90 minute tour with the wine tasting. The tour cost $40 a person and that included the personalized wine tasting. It was a wonderful private experience that avoided all crowds. The estate wine was good, but the other selection was amazing! We left with way more than we planned on. Beautiful venue as well. Phenomenal job Quinn! read more

Natalie provided thorough information about the wine industry including Willamette Valley history and their process of making their wine. Wine is subjective, so this review has nothing to do with the wines which were sampled. We were greeted quickly upon entering, but it was confusing where we could go and what service we would receive. We ended up on the balcony since the patio was full and the first floor was reservations only. After some minutes of no service, we decided to go tot he first floor to the casual sitting area. This was better but we moved to the tasting bar when places opened there. Service at the bar was disjointed. There was a shift change while we were there and they basically stopped service to the bar while working through logistics, which didn't get resumed smoothly. Once we received one of our two next pours, then new bartender detected that an incorrect bottle had been opened. Instead of pouring for both of us, they left with the bottle and returned to open the new one and pour two new samples. Why not pour both and call it a bonus? After a while with empty glasses, I asked for the next pour. It seemed like we were a bother to the bar server. Given the cost and service, we likely won't return if we are in the area. read more

Beautiful tasting room with a fantastic view of the vineyards. So impressed on how the vineyards are organized and labeled with the different types of grapes. This was far away the best experience we had of the vineyards we visited. Service by Sarah was fantastic. We tried the artichoke/mushroom flatbread while we were there, and it was frankly one of the best if not the best flatbreads we have ever had. We had two different tastings and liked every single wine on each of the tastings. I compare this with one of their competitor's vineyards where I didn't like one of the five sample tastings we were given. I highly recommend the Willamette Valley vineyards. read more

The food is incredibly overpriced- $38 for a piece of salmon? That's insane. $16 for a flat bread with scant toppings on a store bought piece of bread. $18+ for a 5 oz glass of wine? The food is, IMO, lackluster for the price. We are former members of the winery and current stock owners. We were members for over a decade and in the last year or so have become less and less impressed with the winery and the direction it seems to be going in. Plus side- service is generally good, inside and outside settings are good. read more

It's Wine Time! We absolutely loved our time at Willamette Winery. If you're a wine lover and foodie, this spot is a good one. Located in a beautiful, sprawling vineyard, the winery is picturesque and perfect for a relaxing day out. The view is up on a hill and in sane. The highlight for us was the delicious cheese board and shrimp salad, both of which were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly paired with Willamette's excellent wine selection. The staff was great. Our favorite winery just got better! We stayed in the rv park attached to the winery called "into the woods". It was amazing. Honestly the most beautiful rv park we have ever stayed in. Clean and each site is surrounded by beautiful trees. It is quiet in spite of the freeway close by. And it's private- completely gated so no one can enter unless they are a guest here. Our experience at the winery was excellent. We had some delicious wine, ate some delicious food and just enjoyed the beauty...we even became members of the winery last night! read more

I've been here several times, but it's been a while and friends wanted to go. We lucked out and it was a beautiful day. Somewhat busy, but got more so a little later. They have lots of seating inside and out. My friend doesn't like reds so they kindly substituted reds for whites and asked her about what she liked so it would be an enjoyable experience. We indulged in some delicious food and even added on the chocolates for a sweet treat with our meal. They gave us our tasters and I simply had to walk up to get the samples of reds outside (they did it this way since there were whites inside that aren't outside). Service was very friendly and prompt throughout. We even got to enjoy an extra sample because they were going around offering them of a particular wine. We then decided to buy bottles to take home and one to walk around with. They opened up a bottle for us and we walked around a bit taking in the view. They offered to hold our wine bottles but we got lucky and were parked right out front. Limited parking in the front so you may need to do a drop off for someone with mobility issues but it's not far to additional parking. We had a really good time. read more

Willamette Valley Pinots drew us for a visit to this Destination Winery. We stayed 'in the woods rv area' and hiked ourselves up a steep lil jaunt up to the winery for panoramic views of the entire Estate! Lovely vineyards, hills, tasting room w/ wine cellars, patio and members areas. Take a moment to enjoy the property itself. We did the $25 tasting experience and Our server Alia (I think) and Brianna were very welcoming and informative about the wines and chocolate truffles that we tried. They serve food as well as tasting menu and snacks you can enjoy by the fireplace seating, tables or bar seats. Tip: With your tasting you receive 10% off a 6 wine bottle purchase and that waived the tasting fee. I look forward to more off season visits for more delicious wines. Mom had the Orange Ricotta Pancakes, & I chose the Chilaquiles, which was exceptional as well. What stood out though was our server Alexandra. She was so kind & her service was excellent. She was VERY prompt, & VERY knowledgeable. She showed great patience to us, & we never went w/o anything. She was knowledgeable about all the wines, & limited food menu. Our attentive & accommodating server, even found Mom a sparkling cider that she LOVED. Alexandra had multiple tables, yet it felt like we were her only guests. She was up-beat, informative & very accommodating. I hope she was able to try the Carnita Chilaquilles. That said, W.V.V.'s wines, beautiful settings/accomodations, food service & the attention / experience showed by our server, Alexandra, are the reasons we'll be back. ~ After breakfast, my mother & I, went onto the patio, & were able to see all the way east from the cascade range, to all the way west to the coastal mountain range. Beautiful vineyard, subpar service. Our waitress completely forgot about us. We didn't get our last glass of wine until after closing. Getting more water was like pulling teeth. Food was pretty tasty. Highly recommend the crab and artichoke dip and salmon salad. Truffle fries are just regular fries with truffle salt (hardly any truffle flavor). Wagyu beef burger was dry and the buns weren't toasted. Their dining area has a beautiful view of the vineyard. It's the perfect place to take some quality photos. We got the seasonal flight and the wine was delicious. read more

We stayed at Into the Woods RV Park, just down the hill from the vineyard. Lynn, our host at Into the Wood, highly recommended the food (and of course the wine), so we wanted to check it out. While it was a short trek up the hill, those inclines are not for the weak. Once we arrived and were seated at the bar, we really enjoyed the ambiance. Our bartender, Alina, provided outstanding service and even better company while we waited for our food. The plating of the food was impressive, and it was as delicious as it looked. After we finished our meal, Alina recommended an excellent wine for celebrating my birthday and our upcoming anniversary. We will definitely return when we are in the area. read more

What a great vineyard to visit! The grounds are gorgeous, with breathtaking views from a high vantage point. The tasting room is equal parts cavernous and cozy, with lots of space but a warm, inviting feeling and a nice fireplace. Plenty of outdoor seating too. I'm not a wine person, but their pinot noir knocked my socks off. So good, very easy drinking, and delicious. The food looked good too! I stuck with a salad, but the other dishes that came out all looked and smelled amazing. Willamette Valley really sets the bar high for vineyards! read more

Breath taking views, excellent food, reasonable prices, good wine, and an overall fabulous experience. Our group of five came here for lunch and had an outdoor table to take in the gorgeous views. We ordered family style and had: bread and house cultured butter, Cascadia Board, Bourbon bacon shrimp, roasted squash and duck salad, Pinot braised beef, and plank roasted lemon herb steelhead. We also had two bottles of their Pinot Noir. Everything was delicious! The duck salad was very refreshing and the steelhead was perfectly cooked. My favorite was the bourbon bacon shrimp. Their house cultured butter was excellent. The two bottles of Pinot Noir were very good and reasonably priced. No corkage fee was charged and our server was very nice and professional. I highly recommend this vineyard for a nice meal with gorgeous views and delicious food and wine. read more

Staff were fun, attentive and incredibly knowledgeable. I learned a lot about the regional wines, down to the types of soil the grapes are grown. I was pleasantly surprised but the kitchen often times there is too much emphasis placed in the wine and not the entire experience. Not at Willamette Valley. The wines are amazing and speak for themselves however whatever kitchen sorcery they have going on, keep it up! Everything we ordered came to the table beautifully arranged, fresh and paired well with wines. I don't have to words to adequately described to wonderful experience we had. All I can say is GO! Had lunch at the winery Monday and the wonderful and attentive Alex served us. We did the complementary owners tasting but prefer red over white and Alex changed out the 2 whites for reds and gave us exactly what we prefer with no trouble The food was delicious as always.
