As they are famous for their peaches and apples at the local farmer's market, I really wanted to see the orchard itself as well as have an in-depth chat with one of the owners, Alan, who I got to know when purchasing their amazing produce. They have a really cute farm stand with lots of pumpkins and apples around this time of the year. You also have the option on going apple picking in the orchard and see how the different apples are grown. Alan, who usually doesn't take people on a tour around the orchard, showed me around and explained all their operations throughout the year. It was really eye opening to the farming industry around this region (compared to California where it never stops). Picked up some apples and cider, enjoyed the fall colors before driving through the back route where you can see the Boston skyline from quite a distance. Definitely recommend the non-touristy experience here.

The brands have changed. The orchards are overgrown and covered in poison ivy with no landscaping to protect patrons, not even warnings. They no longer prepare ordered sandwiches fresh or pastries and soups. Instead just throw together a couple premade soggy sandwiches. Who makes a turkey and ham with a piece of lettuce sandwich and charges $8? I don't know if management changed, but the delightful and welcoming service is now void. I felt as if I was a bother and got the drift I wasn't at all welcomed with underlying tones of "ok get what you see and get out." I miss the kind ladies from 15-20 years ago who treated you like old friends. I had driven about 20 miles, excited to visit this old orchard I adored for years as a summer day escape to refresh. I left feeling heavily disappointed, turned away and realizing the age of kind service, pleasant and genuine "how do you do's" are a thing of the past. The sadness leaving was palpable. I really used to love this place. I could tell the staff just wanted to do the least and clock out. It left a very poor taste in my mouth. Dare I say a broken heart. The soul is gone. I ask that I don't receive a response from ownership because it will just hurt more.

They sell fruits and veggies from local farms nearby. Fresh baked breads, local honey. There is even a local meat and poultry stand that has decent prices on grassfed beef and free range chicken! As the name indicates, it is a…read morefarm; they have a farm stand with a lot of fresh produce and goodies, a greenhouse, and what I considered the main event: a flower (cutting) garden. I had no idea that cut/pick your own flowers was a thing, and I absolutely LOVE it - it is brilliant. The flower garden is a 2-acre field filled with a variety of beautiful flowers - very picturesque. These are, as I call them, the bougie, boutique flowers - i.e., not your average and not what you will find at the store. The field is easy to find, located to the right front of the property, so you do not have to go very far. They have a great system in place, both for the flowers and the cutting experience. There is a check-in stand specific to the flower garden at the entrance of the field that you cannot miss. There are two options for your picking size and price: a mason jar for $18.82 or a basket for $75 (2026 prices). They also offer a membership for the season that covers a mason jar pick each week. If I lived a little closer, it is safe to say I would absolutely invest in the membership. If you have the membership, you bring your mason jar back each week and check in at the stand. If you are there without the membership, they will give you a mason jar at check-in. They put some water in the mason jar for you so the flowers can stay hydrated as you pick. (I have since gone to another PYO flower garden, and they did not do mason jars or a container with water, so I think it's worth mentioning as it definitely makes a difference). When you check in, they will also provide you with the snips, and then give you any instructions or information. They also have a key holder/system in place - I am not sure if it is mandatory to leave your keys with them or not, but if you do, they will give you a number tag for when you are done. The field is pretty easy to navigate. The flowers are grown in long rows, and there is some signage indicating the type. I recommend wearing comfortable shoes you don't mind getting a little dirty. If it is a sunny/hot day, you will want to bring a water bottle, as it can get very hot. Now, the flowers - they are absolutely gorgeous. You have free rein and can pick as you wish. They do have some limits on certain flowers - for example, 5 stems for the dahlias, 3 stems for the eucalyptus, and similar for the hydrangeas - but there are plenty to choose from, so it is not limiting. You really will be amazed by how much you can fit in the mason jar. It was really fun to explore and check out all of the beautiful flowers. It is also really neat to see how other people build their bouquets. You can tell that some people have a vision and a plan, while others (like me) just go for it. All of them are beautiful, and you really cannot go wrong. I absolutely loved mine, and again, I was amazed at how many I was able to get in the mason jar - I put quite the mixture and they blended so beautifully. It was like a few bouquets in one. It really is a great experience, and the smile comes home with you every time you look at the beautiful flowers. I definitely recommend it and cannot wait to come back to do it again. When we finished with the flowers, we did check out the farm stand. It was towards the end of the day, so the options were dwindling (either because they were out or had been put away), but what we did see looked great and of high quality. Some prices seemed a little on the high side, in my opinion, but you are getting local, freshly grown, good-quality items. We got some peaches, a watermelon, and a bag of the apple cider donuts. I couldn't believe the size of the peaches - they were HUGE - like softball-sized. They were some of the best peaches I have had, and the watermelon was closer to how they used to be.

I joined a friend on a hot and humid summer morning to indulge in the fun of unlimited time in the fields/rows of flowers. It's as simple as trading your keys for the loan of a set of "snips" and walk the fields, cutting what looks good to you and creating bouquets as you go. For $20 you can fill a mason jar, or for $75, you can have a basket that hooks over your arms to fill with as many stems as you can! There are limits to certain varieties- like only 5 dahlias, please. The rows are very obviously and carefully marked with any restrictions. I filled my jar with enough flowers to create two arrangements once I got home! I made the rookie mistake of trying to trim and arrange as I was picking- I won't do that again bc it limits creativity once you're home. Frejulian's offers a subscription to the farm so you can visit every week for new bouquets! This runs July-October. Frejulian's also has a robust fruit and veggie stand. The produce was more expensive than the grocery store but looked beautiful. I was not in the market for food today. The only negatives to the experience are choosing how to create your bouquet out of the multitudes of choices and while the bees are certainly needed for the pollination of these beauties, there are a lot. The friend I was with had been stung last week and was nervous about any repeat experiences. I will most definitely be back- this is a fun addiction!!

Prices are a higher than what you'll see in a supermarket. You are buying fresh picked, native produce. The corn you buy today was picked at sunrise - same day!

Cooked them and when I went to peel them they were white inside. Beets might have white or pale areas due to nutrient deficiencies. They don't give you a detailed receipt so you can see what you bought for how much and comparison shop because they are more than the competition. More money for less.
