How have I lived in the area for 20 years, be someone who enjoys gardening and flowers and not been here before today?! I joined a friend on a hot and humid summer morning to indulge in the fun of unlimited time in the fields/rows of flowers. It's as simple as trading your keys for the loan of a set of "snips" and walk the fields, cutting what looks good to you and creating bouquets as you go. For $20 you can fill a mason jar, or for $75, you can have a basket that hooks over your arms to fill with as many stems as you can! There are limits to certain varieties- like only 5 dahlias, please. The rows are very obviously and carefully marked with any restrictions. I filled my jar with enough flowers to create two arrangements once I got home! I made the rookie mistake of trying to trim and arrange as I was picking- I won't do that again bc it limits creativity once you're home. Frejulian's offers a subscription to the farm so you can visit every week for new bouquets! This runs July-October. Frejulian's also has a robust fruit and veggie stand. The produce was more expensive than the grocery store but looked beautiful. I was not in the market for food today. The only negatives to the experience are choosing how to create your bouquet out of the multitudes of choices and while the bees are certainly needed for the pollination of these beauties, there are a lot. The friend I was with had been stung last week and was nervous about any repeat experiences. I will most definitely be back- this is a fun addiction!! read more

I've been recommended this farm stand for a while now and I finally made a trip here with a friend to pick some flowers. We got a mason jar from the stand for $20 dollars and you can pick as many flowers as you please that will fit into the jar. The environment was amazing and very relaxing with all the rows of flower beds you were able to pick from and each row had different breeds of flowers. The staff was very friendly and helpful and explains where to cut the flower stems from and how many of each flower you can take to make sure everyone has a chance to get specific flowers. There is a farmers market also next to the flower picking fields that sells fruit, vegetables, and snacks. I look forward to coming back and definitely recommend this place to people who haven't been before. read more

Our first time coming to pick Tulips on a friends recommendation. We loved it and our granddaughter loved it! Tulips were all so pretty, easy to walk pathways and lots of color choices. Everyone we interacted with from grabbing our bucket, to the woman wrapping flowers to the cashier was friendly and helpful. Not to be missed are the cider donuts. Yum! Easy parking and a lovely greenhouse that I purchased plants for outside I would go back next year. read more

This place is terrible. The produce is previously refrigerated and over priced. You're paying to basically step on to the property. I've been three times and I have never left with anything, but today was especially disappointing. I went this morning, specifically for heirloom tomatoes. The tomatoes on display were not ripe, and looked very unappetizing. I asked the lady if I could look at the better looking tomatoes in the boxes right behind the display. She covered said boxes, and replied, "there are enough tomatoes out there"....just wow! You're charging over $5/lb for crappy heirloom tomatoes from Canada (not even local) and you deny me my choice of product. I will never go there again and I will make sure to spread the word. read more

Went flower picking here and it is GORGEOUS! They have a huge variety of flowers, and tons of them to pick! You can do a jar (it was $17 with tax,) or you can do a basket (I believe $60 + tax.) You can use their clippers and just leave your car key. The women at the flower pickings were very nice and gave us tips for how to make our flowers last! There is parking at the bottom of the hill where the flowers are. There is also a market that has food including cider donuts! Yum! read more

the weekends get crazy here because of the flower picking and driving by here can be borderline dangerous as they get very busy and you have to be careful with people pulling out of here. frankly, surprised that the town hasn't pushed them for detail as there have been multiple car accidents at the intersection that's right at their location. seems like there are lots of entitled karens who think nothing of double parking here. the parking lot is tight and the owners don't seem to care when told about the parking situation. they had a parking attended few times but that's now gone. interacted with the owners on two occasions (above parking) and some feedback on peaches i bought which seemed to have been either banged up from transport/storage or were over refrigerated as they were rotting from the inside, but could care less. read more

My review is for their pick your own tulips. Such a fun activity to do on a nice, spring day. $15 for a dozen. $2 per flower otherwise. They give you a little basket to collect your tulips. The field is lovely and full of people happily picking tulips. read more

My coworker mentioned Ferjulian's Farm stand for tulip picking and I immediately had to come check it out. It was about a 40 min drive from Boston, and we'll worth it. We picked out a nice dozen for our apartment. We were late into the picking season and some colors were mostly out like the reds, but you could still find a nice one in the field. I'll make sure to check our the stand earlier during the season next year. read more

What a great little place. We had their fresh corn the other day, it was exceptional! The farmstand has a wonderful variety of fresh vegetables, plump fruits and beautiful flowers. Their prices are exactly what you would expect from a farm stand... A little higher than at the grocery store, but a better looking, better tasting product. Just purchased produce and had a bad experience. Cashier was extremely rude. Not sure if she was having a bad day but it was quite inappropriate. This time of year they have a great selection of fruit and veggies that they have grown themselves. Their honey crisp apples are amazingly fresh and flavorful. Lots of pumpkins and squash. Concord Grapes. Potatoes. and on and on. They are not as cheap as other local farm stands but are worth a few extra pennies.They take credit cards for anything over $10. They also have plants and lots of beautiful mums. read more

Stopped by here after seeing a bunch of pumpkins and cars in the parking lot. There is a large variety of sizes of pumpkin. In addition to pumpkins they sell fruits and vegetables grown from the farm. This time they had a lot of variety of apples to choose from. I highly recommend visiting this place for variety of fruits and vegetables that are grown locally. read more

We Southern Californians who utter "Hudson MA. has some juicy fruit" get a reaction... eyebrows might raise but please don't run away. Ferjulians is a family run farm with acres of home grown produce open in the summertime. I was here visiting friends, but the peaches would be great in a pie or eating out of hand. Juicy, sweet, plump, and all the other adjectives for this glorious summer fruit. I can't help butt recall that song, "Peaches for me, peaches for free. They're not free, but they are a mere $2.29 a pound the last week in July. I also bought corn, 50 cents each sweet and delicious, which is definitely not GMO (83 per cent of all corn on the cob sold in the US is GMO!), and a basket of Santa Rosa plums. Compared to the ones I've eaten grown in Santa Rosa, CA and throughout the Central Valley of CA, these were much smaller but still very sweet, juicy, and slightly tart.I didn't buy any of their homegrown squash, root crops, lettuce, beets, and carrots grown on their farm, but they looked pretty darn good. Are you getting five servings a day? Here, you could do it. From what locals tell me, this family has been growing orchards and fields of corn for decades. It's the highlight of this operation. The second generation is positioned to take over the farm. They also have a greenhouse that sells indoor and outdoor decorative plants. As a Californian that spends more time at farmers markets and produce departments than Happy Hours, I was not surprised that much of their non local produce is from California. The Tommy Atkins mangoes were from Mexico. Parking was tough, we got the last of 15 spaces. And getting through the line took some time, My friend who lives here took out his lawn chair, found some shade, and started reading the newspaper. Still it was great to see and taste some excellent God made non GMO foods from the land. Visiting this cool town and garden of earthly delights was definitely fun. Definitely hope to come here again. read more

I have been shopping here for years but will never go back. Was treated extremely rudely today by the owner. When I arrived there were no signs outside for the mum plants and I asked one of the employees walking by in her Ferjulians t-shirt ow much they were and she quoted $5. I said that's great! I selected my 5 and went to pay and had that same employee as the cashier. She turned to her colleague and asked how much they were and she said much more. I said but I just asked you and you said they were $5 and she said sorry I made a mistake. The owner came right over and rudely demanded what's the problem. When I said I had asked the girl the price before selecting because there were no signs and was told $5 the owner said well they're not She's new and made a mistake and I could get the small ones if I wanted. I said I would like these at the price quoted and she said "No. And you don't have to buy them. I am telling you that's a good price". I am wondering whatever happened to kind customer service. New employees make mistakes, of course. However, that does not excuse rude behavior by the owner. Very disappointed former customer. read more

I feel so lucky to have this farm stand near my home! This is my go to place for produce. Their arugula, kale, garlic, and corn are always wonderful. They have a wide variety of delicious apples, too! Their honeycrisp is my favorite eating apple, and they have other great varieties for applesauce or baking, too. They also sell local honey (delicious Carlisle honey!) and fruits and vegetables from farms in other regions, so you can always conveniently get produce that is not in season locally. I am so sad the peach crop was destroyed (as it was everywhere in the northeast) by our crazy winter temperature extremes this year because their peaches are AMAZING and we look forward to gorging ourselves on them every year. This is a hidden gem! Driven by on my "short cut" to 495 for several years and watched the change in the orchard and new modern farm stand develop. Never thought of pulling in until up went the sign fresh cherries. What better way to pass the time on my way to the Cape then to chew on some berries. In I go, and I immediately realize that much of the fresh produce is from the farm. Not one of these farm stands that has a few home grown items but really wholesale buys many items from a produce vendor to stock the shelves. Should I add crisp and tart Red Paula apples? Maybe some perfect plums only the size of eggs that have that incredible plum smell and color. Speaking of smell I cruise by and see some Concord grapes......the aroma overwhelming. I need those. Then it's off to the peaches both white and yellow. There is a selection of ready to eat ripe and some just a day away. Save money and buy some seconds that I could see looked better than firsts at Stop and Flop. Nectarines.......stop the car only has two seats. Wait....the cherries. Can't remember if these delightful giants but they weren't local but so damn perfect I ate the entire bag on the way to the Cape. Crispy hard, juicy and a garnet red that you just can't buy at the big chains. So out I go with peaches, nectarines, plums, grapes, cherries and some apples. The road to the Cape saw me chow on one peach, an apple, the bag of cherries and a got into the grapes. Arrived on the Cape, and the bride said "what the hell were you eating?" Looked at my shirt and it gave up all the evidence drive to the Cape. The directions say Lewis street but the farm stand really stands out on Main Street as you start up that hill heading towards downtown Hudson. Save money, high quality produce and make sure you explore the vegetables too. read more

We've been buying our Frasier Fir Christmas trees at Ferjulian's since 2000. I can't even imagine getting a tree elsewhere. I love the way they drill the trunk with a machine (stays fresh for a month or more). Setup at home takes 2 seconds (the trees are drilled to fit the Stand Straight Tree Stand). They also net the tree for easy transport. I've also purchased wreaths there along with their homemade jam (tasty!). Oddly enough, I've never been there in the summertime. read more

Love this place but not all of their produce is local. The mangoes from Mexico have been recalled for possible Salmonella exposure and while they dont have the recalled company name on them ( different companies buy from the same supplier) they do have the recalled PLU number on them . When I mentioned this to them during a visit, they fluffed me off despite the fact I mentioned I had been sick all week. Not the customer service i would have expected. I hope no one else gets sick. That said I'll still shop here but I will be washing everything thoroughly. read more

Ive bought apples and pumpkins from here and the apples were amazing. The pumpkins were actually cheap, making because it was the season.. But i like that lol. I love a good farmstand, and supporting local farmers. While there are some items sold in their market that are not from their own fields and orchards, Ferjulian's clearly displays what is theirs - and most of it is. The selection and the quality of the fruits and vegetables on offer is pretty fantastic, and their prices are awesome. My recommendation is to come here not with a shopping list in mind, but just a tote bag. Buy what looks good. It'll all taste good! read more

Summer in Hudson means produce and plants (and syrup and jams) from Ferjulians. This place is the best - other posters have noted their selection of heirloom varieties, the freshness of the produce, and I concur. Everything is simply spectacular - especially the native corn. It should be noted that their plants are *spectacular*. We have purchased half a dozen rose bushes over a few years and they are the heartiest, healthiest, and most flower producing bushes of any we've purchased anywhere, including Russells in Wayland. We're sad after the November close, but we're back in December to buy or Christmas tree! And, we have Ferjulian's no-tip stand; after purchasing a tree, they drill a hole in the bottom so it sits perfectly in the stand, then wrap it up for us. The trees last and last! Ferjulian's is a gem - I stop several times a week when it's open! Oh, and they have so many varieties of apples - must try them all. read more

Your employee, Kelly, behind the register was EXTREMELY rude really for no reason. Two lines formed... really not a big deal... we are adults and it worked it self out. Because lines come in from the front and the back... it has to merge sometimes. She was murmuring fairly loudly under her breathe how people can't follow rules and that she's sick of it or some nonsense and shaking her head etc... it was very disappointing and horrible customer service. Their Red Gala apples are the best apples I've ever had. Worth the trip out there just for them alone.
