Do not have injections done just anywhere! Make sure you do your homework! I would think twice about going to a " day spa" and be injectioned by a RPN or RN or even a general practitioner again. You may pay more but at the end of the day it is your face. Highly recommend Dr Richard Rival!! I will never cheap out again and forever faithful to this plastic surgeon. 5* plus!

Truthfully, there are much worse things to be taunted by, but these pesky, unsightly things made for less than favourable hair styling conditions. But after collecting an array of approximately 15 of them of various sizes, and getting over the humour found in the game of 'whose cyst is the largest' amongst my family (I'm the reigning champion), and awkward conversations with hair stylists who had all seemed to have that curious, perplexed look on their face when they saw them - I decided enough was enough and 3 of these puppies were coming out. My doctor referred me to Dr. vanVliet - I was initially a bit uneasy since two of her RateMD reviews pegged her as being callous; but I wanted to make my own judgement calls and boy were those reviews wrong. Her office is extremely inviting with great music in the background, calm colours and nice decor. Her staff is comprised of individuals whose utmost commitment is to quality, customer service. From Lynda the patient co-ordinator at the front desk; to Franca the RN, who was so kind and patient with my anxiety while preparing me for the procedure. To the hero of the show - Dr. vanVliet. She is personable, very knowledgeable and straight forward. There is absolutely nothing callous about her whatsoever. In fact, upon learning that I was nervous, she dropped a bit of a 'fun fact' into my lap that had me chuckling, immediately cutting (pun intended) any lingering anxiety I had into smithereens. I appreciated the fact that she was committed to educating me both before and during the procedure. Not only that, both her and Franca kept the conversation flowing in a way that by the time I realized they were distracting me to my benefit, two out of the three cysts were already removed. I will 100% be back here to remove the remainder of my collection of cysts and will strongly recommend her and her team to any of my family members who are ready to make the plunge and remove those pesky cysts. I was there to get the same type of cyst removed from my scalp. After "freezing" the area, she begin cutting into my scalp. The freezing had not fully set in, and even though I mentioned this and was in obvious pain, she continued. All I could do it seems was endure the pain, although I'm sure it didn't hurt her a bit! It took all of 5 minutes and I was done. After a week, I had the stitches removed. A few days later, the pain in the massive scar she left (the size of a nickle) increased and there was inflammation and bleeding. I went to my family doctor and he pulled a piece of stitching from inside my scalp over an inch long. She could offer a refund (which she didn't) and perform another operation for free and I would never go back nor recommend her services!

I had a traditional abdominoplasty (drains and no progressive sutures) 18 months ago by another surgeon. I developed a large seroma extending from my breast bone to my pubic bone and 4 inches across. Despite CT scans and ultrasounds indicating I had a seroma the original plastic surgeon refuted the results of the tests instructing me to lose 20 pounds as he felt it was intra-abdominal fat (my BMI was 26). For over a year I was having issues bending over, turning in bed, feeling a constant tug, tightness across my abdomen and experiencing gastrointestinal issues. It affected all aspect of my life and I was struggling with depression as a result. I finally met with Dr Kreidstein who offered to help me, other surgeons refused. Immediately after surgery, although sore from the surgery, I immediately felt so much better. Dr Kreidstein removed the large seroma and a large amount of scar tissue, tightened the abdominal muscles (as I think the original surgeon failed to do so even though it was part of the surgery)Two weeks after surgery I was able to turn in bed, unaided, a feat I was unable to do for over a year. The large bulge/seroma was gone and my abdomen was 3 inches slimmer, even with post surgical swelling. Dr Kreidstein corrected the appearance of the belly button, lowered the "too high" scar and flattened the mon pubis area. My main goal was to feel better and the cosmetic appearance was not important. Not only am a feeling a million times better but my abdomen looks absolutely tremendous! It's flat, slim and trim! I can't say enough good things about Dr Kreidstein. He was genuinely concerned about me and monitored me very closely to ensure I recovered properly.
