Dr Christensen wanted to send us to an oral surgeon and recommend dentures. He refused to pull the tooth or do anything to relieve the pain, he was very rude and condescending. My dad has Alzheimer's and did not know why we were leaving without getting anything done. We left and went to another dentist who pulled the tooth, they went above and beyond to help my dad. The office staff was friendly but I would not go there again. If I could give a negative rating if I could.

It was a totally different experience than previous dentist offices -- they noticed I was cold and got me a blanket, and during treatment they put on a movie of my choice to distract me -- small things that just made the experience more tolerable! The dentist herself was thorough about my teeth and helpful in her explanations but she -- and her staff -- were so friendly and fun to talk to! They made me feel so welcome and honestly part of the crew for the brief time I was there.

She was told they would sedate her and do it in two phases (top & bottom). She was quoted $16,000 for the first phase and then they helped my mother open a line of credit to pay for it all. Thankfully she called me before she had the work done. I took her to my trusted family dentist when she came for a visit. Our dentist took new x-rays and said that in fact NOTHING they recommended was necessary. She also reviewed all of the billing codes they quoted and found questionable billing throughout - many codes were duplicated/unnecessary. She said what they wanted to do was absolutely criminal, and she is planning to report this practice to the TX State Board of Dental Examiners. I'm disgusted that someone would take advantage of an elderly patient like this, and I'm also left wondering how many times they've done this before. Terrible.

There were no apologies offered, no proactive discussion or explanation, just two front office admins sitting at their desks attending to anything else. I would suggest to the office cleaning of the waiting room area, many dead bugs under the waiting room chairs, dust on every sill, hand prints on most surfaces. As a new patient, had I seen this ahead of scheduling, I would have avoided this office before discovering it the day of the appointment. Recommend anyone looking find another dentist unless you become aware of a turnaround in the business.

Terrible experience…read more I normally do not leave reviews, and I am usually willing to let a bad experience go without saying anything. However, this experience was significant enough that I feel it is important to share what happened. This was my first visit to Fort Worth Dental. No dental treatment was provided. I left the appointment without receiving the care I came in for, yet the practice still submitted a claim to my insurance. During the appointment, I was accused by the dentist Dr. Pham three separate times of drug use based on the condition of my teeth. I do not use drugs. I also do not believe the condition of my teeth was severe enough to warrant such an accusation, particularly from someone who had no knowledge of my dental history. What I found especially unprofessional and ignorant was that, after I corrected the accusation, it was repeated rather than acknowledged and moved past. As a patient, you have to trust your dental provider to listen to you, respect you, and approach your care professionally. I felt that trust was violated during my very first visit. Patients should be able to seek dental care without being subjected to unsupported accusations, particularly when those accusations are repeated after being corrected. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this practice to anyone who values being treated with basic respect, professionalism, and trust. The dentist was confidently incorrect and made the entire situation extremely unprofessional.

Dr Altieri is a real dental nerd and stays up with the latest studies and dental equipment. His staff is very caring, friendly and he takes the time make sure your dental exam is thorough. I thought I had a sore infected tooth but fortunately had a dental cleaning scheduled in two days. I shared my issue and his staff was quick to do a mobile X-ray to see if my tooth was cracked or infected. He arrived shortly afterwards to look at the results to see if I needed more extensive treatment (I thought I would need a root canal). It turns out that I had a bad abrasion on my gums surrounding the tooth along with an ulcer on the side which was pretty swollen. As Dr Altieri quizzed me about what I ate leading up to the start of my soreness, he deduced that I probably abraded my teeth eating tortilla chips and salsa at Joe T Garcias. We both had a good laugh with his dental assistants and hygienist. All in all, I felt Dr. Altieri and staff really prioritizes the patients in his practice (and I was glad to not have to have a root canal).

They are very efficient about calling to remind patients of upcoming appointments. They offer a cash discount which is helpful to those not on insurance. I have been bringing my son for 10 years and they are super nice to him. They make him feel comfortable with something that often scares many adults ! I highly recommend them especially for kids.

Then when the doctor came in never introduced himself to us (first time patients) and never told me if she was ok or not before leaving the room. When the x-rays came back, the hygienist saw a small cavity in between her teeth. The doctor again, never came in to speak with me. The hygienist said the dr recommended a crown, and when I questioned it and had questions she got very rude. The doctor stepped out to smoke and she said he would come back to talk to me. He never did. She still would not answer my questions and got VERY mouthy to me, walked away and rolled her eyes at me when I tried to discuss my childs dental health plan. The receptionist kept mouthing sorry to me, and when I asked if this was normal of this office she just sorta smiled....guess it is. STAY AWAY! Too many great dentists out there to waste your time here!
