I ended up having to re-clean everything myself. I was very disappointed with having spent $400, I definitely felt like I didn't get what I paid for. I will say that they were kind when I spoke with them on the phone, I haven't had a chance to call back regarding this issue (I had it cleaned in the beginning of April) and I know it's well past that time but Ive had a lot of things hitting me back to back so tried to let it go and I'm sorry, I just couldn't. It bugs me a lot. I'd definitely be happy if something could be worked out regarding this but I also completely understand if nothing can be done because it's been so long. I had the unfortunate experience of opening a evite dinner invitation attachment on an email from a known acquaintance which turned out to be a Remote Access Trojan (RAT). I tried several times to clean my hard drive with Nord VPN Threat Malware and Malwarebytes programs which found nothing. A backdoor was established on my laptop and I could see the intruder's mouse pointer navigating throughout my laptop while my mouse pointer was disabled. The only solution to stop it was to sever the internet connection. The issue persisted for several days when I would reconnect the internet. The intruder wasn't always present but I could see when they were. The intruder got into my Google password manager, Quicken account and attempted to make Amazon purchases. I was running out of airspeed and ideas and recognized that I needed professional assistance. I researched locally for an I.T. firm and found Will Get IT Done. I met with Will who examined my 7 year old laptop and he recommended I simply replace it as the cost to wipe it clean/replace the hard drive and reload would be comparable to a replacement. Although working just fine prior to the intrusion, given the age of my laptop I took Will's advice and purchased a new laptop. Will and Nicholas transferred all of my clean files from the old to the new laptop in their lab leaving the RAT in the old hard drive. I am now back in great shape. The total cost was well worth it for the peace of mind. If you need any I.T. assistance do not hesitate to give Will and Nicholas a call. They will deliver!

Upon calling them back, they said yes of course I didn't need to submit the form. But they had already spent $1500 in what seemed to me trying to find ways to charge me more. Seems unethical to me.

Unfortunately this firm mixed my bank account with another client, this having me receive two…read morerefunds. Instead of righting the wrong, I was asked to write a personal check to the client rather than having the firm account for their error. The first problem is that my data was given in error to another client. The second problem is that I was asked to write a personal check to their client. No ownership was taken for the mistake. I instead had the errant monies refunded to the IRS, which is the proper channel. Certainly more tedious for the other client, but the right thing to do. This firm's suggestion of me writing a personal check put me in potential auditing by IRS for "double dipping" if you will, as it would show me having two refunds in the same year. I have made my complaint to the board of accounting for the state of Maryland. I would suggest treading lightly given the lack of discretion and ethics used by this firm. I have moved on to a much more sound practice.

My bank needs this certification before they can open up an Estate in my mother's name. At the time of her death, I was told by a family member that there was no need and that there was no estate. That was a lie. She had a checking, a savings, and a home. The home has been settled. The money has not been accounted for. I need the "certificate" to open an estate for her in Florida to deposit this check. Resolution pending. It has been two years since her death.
