Unprofessional dentis with poor work. Went to this dentist to have a tooth removed. Mr. Wigley…read morewas charged me for a tooth removal and left a large piece of root in my mouth. I complained about excessive bleeding and the front office lady Toni dismissed it and said it will stop and told me to use more gauze. I went back in 3 weeks later for a cleaning, They noticed a protrusion from my gum and began poking. Root of the tooth never pulled and still remaining. Mr. Wigley says we will take care of it in 3-4 mos once you have healed and we have you back in here for additional work (When it was convenient for him). I began asking questions and Mr. Wigley did not like someone asking questions about his work. He began trying to upsell expensive plans to redo my entire mouth - NOT what I came in for. When I declined and told him he should listen to what I want and not sell me on what he wants to dom He became angry and started berrating me and speaking down to me. I got up from his chair and told the dentist who had lost his temper and began aggressively telling me that I needed to do what he was advising that we were done. The office ladies were embarrassed and awkward after the moment. I then received a letter from an office person at the doctor about 2 weeks later stating that the root left in my mouth needed to be extracted immediately and could cause severe issues and neede to be fixed within 30 days - CERTIFIED MAIL - all because I had stated I would look into an attorney since Mr, WIgley did not do his job and remove a tooth as he was paid to do. I called the office and when I would not answer Toni the office lady about whether I would alllow them to correct their work, she became aggressive and when I asked for her to refund me she hung up on me. Do your research and you will find numerous stories of Mr. Wigley berrating patients and speaking down to them and insulting them when they don't consider Wigley's expensive and over the top fixes. Wigley is a questionable dentist and not a sales man which is why he gets mad when you don't buy off on his elaborate, expensive and excessive fixes. Once you decline him he gets angry, becomes aggressive and then insults you and dismisses you. The office personnel was nice until you ask for a refund or until you do not let them correct their mistake. This is a highly questionable dentist, who insults people. He does very shoddy work and is incompetent. Read the reviews and you will see this guy really should not be practicing any longer,

Dr Brown is very well qualified in his field but I was still uneasy about making this decision to proceed. I made a 2nd appointment and asked all the questions I had been agonizing over. My experience here was one of complete confidence. I have a further appointment scheduled and have no doubts that it will be carried out in a professional manner. If you require a dental procedure under anesthesia then he is the doctor to go to in this area.

We went in the same day and met with Michaela (BEST NURSE EVER) who walked my very nervous father and I through every detail with the utmost care. She was able to soothe his worries while also giving me all the details we needed to be able to prepare for the medical and financial side of things. We then met with Dr. James E. Strauss DMD who was equally kind and knowledgeable. He was able to further explain the procedure my dad needed and answer any of our remaining questions. The whole visit was as good as it can get when you need to see a dentist. It was much faster than we anticipated but we appreciated how urgently they took care of things and were able to alleviate his pain. They also offered him IV sedation to help with his pain and to also keep him as comfortable as possible due to his medical history. At no time did we feel rushed, and the whole time we had people checking in on us making sure we were comfortable. Everyone, from the front desk staff and finance to the nurses and doctor, were the best medical care I have ever seen at a dentist's office. ****We have dental insurance, that they (unfortunately) do not accept, and we STILL chose to come here after many recommendations and promises of quality care and clear communication of expected costs.**** Highly, highly recommend.
