He wanted me to pay him $1,200 prior to surgery - cash or personal check. I didn't owe that much on my deductible. He said if I didn't agree with the payment/office policy I could go elsewhere. Definitely, very distasteful way of convincing me he had my best interest at heart.  Now, I'll search for a surgeon, someone more welcoming .  I came in with gallstones and now I have to wait another 2 months before I can get some help. He overcharges his patients and can care less about your overall health. The experience was not pleasant and it's clear he was not a bit concerned about my well being; not to mention he charged me $200.00 for the initial visit. Dr Pertsovskiy and his staff are serious professionals and everytime i wake up, I feel like a new person. Dr P knows what he is doing. He has a very professional attitude and he likes to make sure his patients feel good. He also has a soft side to him that gives him great bedside manner. His staff are also very caring and attentive. The anesthesiologist was also very courteous and professional. Before they release you back from the surgery, they want to make sure you are ok before you leave. The follow up is usually in 2 weeks and he has the labs that take of everything. 1 stop shopping! He has an office office based surgical unit which looks as if you are in an actual hospital. She's amazing at working her magic with microdermabrasion and laser (light) therapy. She's very experienced, has a great bedside manner, and her staff is nothing short of spectacular. Alexis, her office manager, is extremely helpful and professional. She made it super easy to set up an appointment and made sure we were fully aware and informed of our procedures every step of the way. So yeah, we are really excited to have started our make-overs with Dr. Arsenous. In a nutshell, Dr. Arsenous offers an ample array of cosmetic treatments and packages to help improve and freshen-up your look, such as IPL, Botox, fillers (Radiesse, Sculptra, Juviderm, etc). She also offers fancier procedures like fat transfer to the face and other areas, liposuction, breast augmentation - You name it. We received so much information during our first visit I was compelled to share my experience. Not only that, she happens to offer ALL of these services at her beautiful office/surgicenter which is conveniently located in Glendale, Queens. If you're not familiar with this area, know this place is not in the middle of the "hustle and bustle" part of town. Rather in the quiet, more serene part of Queens. Fast forward to 2025, age 67. I need my right side repaired. I found Dr. Dupree who is skilled at robotic surgery. It's comforting to hear the words from the surgeon "I can take care of this". The entire procedure was more complex as it required general anesthesia, however, the recovery time was much faster (and I'm much older). What I like about Dr. Dupree is his confidence and experience. No need to go to a specialized hospital in a big city. Riverview Medical Center is small and accessible.

I've had a fair amount of experience with various medical professionals and their staff and I was kind of dreading this appointment. The staff was very nice and accommodating and were forthcoming about running behind with appointments. Once I met with the doctor I was amazed by the fact that he didn't push for surgery. He was very honest with me and told me what I could do to try to remedy the situation. He told me that if I followed his suggestions he most likely would never need to see me again. It was a truly refreshing experience! I also want to add that there was a patient in there angling for a note regarding his surgery and pushing them to have the doctor write it for much longer than he would need off. They were polite but firm that that would be considered fraud and they would have no part in it. Bummer for the guy but made me respect the office even more. While I hope I don't need a surgical repair for my issue (because I do plan on following doctor's orders!), if I do I plan on going back to Dr. Tsioulias.

Before I arrived, she called to say the doctor was running 30 minutes late and moved my appointment from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m. However, when I arrived at 6:00 p.m., there were at least 12 people waiting ahead of me in the waiting room! Clearly, the doctor was much more than 30 minutes behind schedule. I decided to reschedule rather than wait for what could have been hours. I found this extremely disrespectful of patients' time. It is unprofessional to schedule so many patients, move appointments due to delays, and still have a waiting room packed with people. The entire experience was poorly organized and frustrating.
