Incredibly happy after my eyelid surgery, performed by Dr Mack. I had a lot of extra skin, that hung down covering my upper lid. This aged me, made it difficult to apply makeup, & my eyes looked "heavy" and smaller, in pictures. After my in office procedure, I could see results immediately that same day! My experience with Dr. Mack and his staff has been exceptional. He is very personable and respectful to his patients. I took my dad to see him for droopy eyelids and the surgery went very well. Dr. Mack called personally to check how he was doing afterwards. My father is someone who hates going to the doctor and is very resistant to having any surgery, yet Dr. Mack made him feel very comfortable with the decision to have his eyelids lifted. Dad can't believe the improvement in his vision! I have seen Dr. Mack for fillers and Loralee for Sculptura and Ultherapy. I have been extremely satisfied with the results. It has been six months since Dr Mack performed surgery on my right eye lid. I am so pleased with the results, I am actually writing my first ever review. Approximately 2 years ago, I had a brain tumor removed which left me 95% disabled in my right eye. As a result of the disability, my right eye lid had significantly closed. You won't find a better surgeon, staff, and all around office to go to for all procedures. Four years ago I noticed a bump on my cheek that dermatologists continuously prescribed small fixes like injections, lotions, etc. saying that it was scar tissue, and saying I was too young to do anything surgical (not even mentioning a biopsy at the least). No surgeons would take on pediatric patients, and didn't want to further test it. I had gotten to the point where I did want it gone, and as the bump continued to get bigger over time, after a consultation with Dr. Mack, he recommended that we remove it as well as biopsy it to ensure that there was nothing seriously wrong. After surgery, the biopsy showed that it was a granular cell tumor (GCT), which multiple doctors before had missed, and had even ignored trying to figure out what it was. Following mohs surgery for a basal cell carcinoma on my nose and face, I was left with a very large defect. Unfortunately, the extensive reconstructive surgery caused my lower eyelid to pull downward, resulting in severe ectropion. Before seeing Dr. Mack, my eye was constantly irritated and watered uncontrollably. He carefully explained how he would fix the eyelid to ensure it functioned properly and looked natural. From that first consultation, the office staff were incredibly nice, professional, and supportive. Today my eye looks and feels fantastic. The ectropion is completely corrected and the constant watering and irritation are completely gone. The aesthetic outcome is absolutely beautiful, especially given how complex my situation was. Dr. Mack performed my upper eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) two months ago. First of all, I am extremely happy with the results. I could see a difference immediately after the procedure and the results have only gotten better with the passage of time. Dr. Mack and his staff were very professional. They also set my expectations regarding the recovery process appropriately and made sure that all of my questions were answered. The procedure itself was easy enough. I did not have any pain. While I did have some swelling and bruising, it was minimized by following the instructions provided for both before and after surgery. I was referred to Dr.William Mack by my ophthalmologist who suspected a white lesion on my lower eyelid might be cancer. Dr. Mack performed a biopsy and I was horrified when he informed me that I had Basal Cell Carcinoma.I was afraid I would have a huge scar near my eye. While he did say he didn't know how much tissue he would have to remove to get all the cells until the surgery he assured me that no one would be able to notice.I was amazed at the results! two weeks following the surgery my eyelid was practically back to normal.That was in 2015. This year the cancer returned this time underneath the eyelid.While I was fearful of going through that procedure again I had faith that Dr. Mack would would be able to remove the cancer and reconstruct my eyelid.It has been 10 days and I am amazed at the results.There is no one else I would trust to perform this procedure my face. I went to Dr. Mack to have the excess skin removed from my eyelids. After doing some research and asking people in the medical profession where they would go or where they would send their mother for this procedure, Dr. Mack was the clear winner. They did the necessary work to get my insurance to cover 100% of the cost and scheduled the procedure when it fit my schedule and not theirs. I had to re-schedule due to a travel delay caused by the airline and they worked with me to re-schedule and did so with three days. The office staff is always friendly and I've never waited more than 10 minutes in the waiting room, or exam room for that matter. His assistant Sandy is "the bomb". Dr Mack did a fantastic job on my right eye. I had a traumatic brain injury at 14 and as I've aged (now 26) my lid has dropped not only looking displeasing but the ptosis was covering almost half of my cornea., and drastically impeding my vision. I am from Charlotte county, but I wanted one of the best to do my surgery so after a suggestion from my local ophthalmologist, and some extensive research I drove the two hours to see Dr. Mack. He did all the necessary testing , to see what type of procedure I would actually needed and it was determined that it was muscular not a blepharoplasty which I was expecting. I was referred to Dr. Mack by my regular eye doctor because I had severely obstructed peripheral vision. My medical insurance approved me for an upper eye lid lift as well as a brow lift. We are so grateful to Dr. Mack & his nurse Sandy, who both stayed late on a Friday night to take care of my husband. He was hit in the face by a baseball that tore about 1" of his lip open and took a chunk of it out. Dr Mack meticulously and perfectly put it back together again. His skill is truly magnificent and we would absolutely recommend him for anyone needing any cosmetic work on their face. Everyone who has seen my husband's lip, 2 weeks after the injury, has literally been in disbelief about how well it has healed. I had my upper eyelids done because skin was hooding my eyes. Dr. Mack gives instructions on how to prevent bruising naturally and I started the process a week before. I am on a blood thinner so bruising is usually bad though I stop my meds a week before surgery. My bruising and swelling were minimal and my eyes are natural looking. I went to him because of the endorsement by my eye doctor. She said she wouldn't allow anyone but Dr. Mack to touch her eyelids because he's the best. Days after surgery I went to church and no one noticed my surgery. When I mentioned it, friends commented they thought it was eye shadow! I admit the waiting is ridiculous which puts him in a rush, but I'd go back if I had to have something else done. The wait was worth it. read more
