He made it "Grunt Proof" ( in other words, even a humble infantry marine, such as myself, could clearly understand where he's coming from). I did the whole refi simply through the convenience of my smart phone. Mr. Bill Zigler, whom I affectionately referred to as, "Charming Billy", made the transaction very easy for me. I did a couple screen shots on my phone, such as DD214s, Drivers license photo ID, recent tax records, paycheck stub, etc, and emailed them to him; he took care of all the rest of the paperwork. Bill was with me every step of the way and guided me toward a big pay day. Anytime I emailed Bill with a question or just a status update, Bill immediately emailed me back, with the intel; hell he even would add a fun comment or entertaining jest to his email which made feel a personal connection. Bill even set up an appraisal appointment conveniently scheduled around my work schedule and then sent a notary to my house to physically sign some documents. In the deal that Bill set me up with, I was able to pay off all my credit card debt, receive a ton of cash, and get to skip two months of mortgage payments. Mr. Bill Zigler is hero in my book! Bill was even able to wave some V.A. funding fees for me, as I have a disability rating through the V.A.. I highly recommend Mr. Bill Zigler to any veteran that's looking to do a quick and easy IRRRL or cash out refinance deal. Bill Zigler is an honest man that will help you ease through the process regardless of your situation; he will go above and beyond to make a deal happen and improve your situation. My intent is to keep this review short, concise and relatable to anyone who has recently bought a house and to highlight how pleased we are for having our refinance handled through Williams Financial and more specifically by Bill Zigler. Some background first... Since we had received a VA Mortgage, in the months following our home purchase we literally received hundreds of offers looking to refinance. Almost all of these went directly into the trash. However, since we were planning to stay in the home long term, my wife thought we should explore what the short term costs vs. long term benefits would be if we refinanced. We engaged one lender from a large well known national company and went through a few emails and then a phone call question and answer. Initial conversation was positive; however, when they came to the house with our actual documents to sign, the numbers were nowhere what was discussed, and any financial benefits to us would have been negligible. At that point I gave up on the idea of refinancing. However, not long after that, I received a personal letter which was actually more of a letter thanking me for my military service; and with the addition, that if I was ever looking into financing or refinancing a home that they would be honored to have my business. The letter was from Williams Financial and was signed by Bill Zigler. As interest rates were continuing to drop...I decided to give Bill and Williams Financial a try. It was one of the best financial decisions of my life. I have had several mortgages and refinances...and none were as easy, pleasant to deal with, and produced such results to our benefit as working with Bill and Williams Financial. I want to emphasize further the benefit to us as Bill was still able to get the lender to come down another .25 % below what was the currently acceptable lowest rate. We could not have been happier with the service provided by Bill and Williams Financial; and now six months later, with the company that holds our mortgage. This review may be long but WILL be worth your time to read. Being in the military for over 25 years I have worked with many companies refinancing multiple houses in many different states. All I can tell you is working with Bill Zigler with Williams Financial twice in the past year has proved to be THE BEST experience I have ever had. He is, without a doubt, the most professional, courteous and insightful person I have EVER dealt with regarding refinancing homes. He is always on time, responds within the same day and in many cases within 10 minutes of me asking a question. He is also tenacious in the quest of saving YOU money by providing several choices in rates and costs. In fact, the reason why I went with him twice is because I could not believe what he did for me and my family on our first refi. I have probably received over 100 letters from various companies offering to refinance my VA Loan. I only sent emails to 2 of the companies in which I received letters from and only one of them responded to my email. That one person who responded was Bill Zigler. Bill gained me as customer because he was honest and straightforward. I provided him my situation, he did his due diligence and told me he could do the refinance. A few days later, I had a FULL Loan Approval. I closed on August 8, 2014 and the entire process was so simple that I feel guilty because I really did not do anything. My entire process was several emails back and forth, loan approval and signing of the documents. I literally spent more time signing the Closing Documents than I spent during the entire loan process. If you currently have a VA mortgage loan, I'm sure you are being bombarded daily with offers via the mail, email and phone for a Streamline refi. Do yourself a favor and call Williams Financial, Inc. before you make any decision. We were going into our fourth month of the "quick and simple" Streamline process with a nationally advertised company, who previously held our loan, when I received a postcard from Bill at Williams Financial. The best decision I've ever made was to call Bill. In less than thirty days we closed at an interest rate a full percent lower than our existing loan and a half a percent lower than the rate the company that had been working on it for over 3 months had offered. Bill's entire team was extremely professional, helpful and friendly. As with many others I started with Bill and Williams Financial from his postcard on or about June 10th, 2016, with a Email from me to him. He responded that same day and asked some questions. I answered his questions. He said here's what we can do. I researched his response and decided to go for it. Two days later I had the package at my house and I filled out all questions and documents requested. We did a 30 yr fixed rate, cash out loan. Next was supposed to be the hard part, appraisal, termite inspection etc. He organized it and we did it. He worked with Sun West Mortgage and DocuSign and Everest Escrow to work on the loan. It was great and very easy working with Bill and his team. The loan process to refi my VA loan was quick and straight-forward. Any time I called or emailed Bill, he either answered the phone or called me back within minutes. He always responded to my emails quickly. I would and have recommended him to friends. Bill Zigler assisted me witha CalVet to VA loan buyout/refinance. Bill was not only professional but considerate of our needs and presented several different good faith estimates. Each estimate had sligbt tweaks to the down payment, up-front processing fees, and interest rates... complete with a video that helped my wife understand the terms and calculations, so that she could also be a part of the discussion. In the end, we were able to greatly lower our interest rates and monthly mortgage payments with extremely reasonable closing costs. If I could rate Bill it would be a lot higher than a SIX. I live on the central coast could've went to other local lenders but one other time we refinanced with Bill the process was smooth and quick all by email and phone.
