Several disappointment in the professional ways things are handled and had to have them fix several things. Then in the end I was the bad guy for wanting things right. A lot of young kids doing the new construction and one lead man that was never there overseeing. Think long and hard if you are building a new house and pick someone else. Put in new system in August 2018. While putting it in, he shorted out our thermostat. He then tried…read moreto sell us a new one, we told him he should replace it for free. After a week, he finally did this. Last week when the weather cooled and the heat tried to kick on, it only blew cold air. Something is obviously not installed properly. We called several times Thursday and Friday. No response then or over weekend so called again Monday morning. No response. Then we called from a different number but didn't leave a message. He called back immediately. He was flustered when he realized it was us, he said he was just getting back in town from the weekend and would be out that afternoon or the next morning to fix it. He said "those fancy thermostat's always have problems". Probably should mention here that kids and grandkids gave us a Nest thermostat that we asked him to hook up on another system. He couldn't get it to work and said it was bad and we should return it. Late that night we watched a Youtube video and installed it ourselves and it works perfectly. Anyway, back to the current issue, he ever showed up. We called several times from both numbers and texted as well and he is not responding. I left a final message at 1:50pm Tuesday, October 30th telling him if he doesn't respond by 2:30pm I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Needless to say he never responded. I filed the complaint. I'm also posting this here to keep others from making the same mistake. We have four heat pumps on our property and last year he replaced another one and told us there was one that would not last more than a month. When he came to check the problem this year he said it needed replaced, but the pump he said was going to die, he said that one was in perfect condition, which makes me think he's more in the business of selling systems but not upkeep or maintaining, and obviously I question his know-how since he shorted out one thermostat, couldn't install a Nest thermostat (and claimed it was no good) and the new thermostat he installed isn't working properly. I have little faith he will respond to the BBB complaint since he isn't a member, so we're also going to file against him in small claims court in Hancock County. I warn anyone, don't use this company. I have looked on the Milledgeville Chamber's website and they have four other companies that are members of the chamber and several of them are members of the BBB, so next problem that occurs will go to one of those companies. UPDATE! After sending him a text letting him know the BBB was filed, he miraculously is able to communicate again and texted back saying "OK, that statement voided your warranty". He cannot be bothered to return messages to fix a repair on something he connected wrong (no response for 5 days) but will respond in a childish way when you let him know you filed a complaint because he isn't doing what he was paid to do.
