The absolute worst. What sort of medical supply company actually erects obstacles to fulfilling a CPAP supply order? The whole reason this POS company exists is TO PROVIDE MEDICAL SUPPLIES. I've never, ever dealt with such low-energy imbeciles in my life. It wouldn't be quite so bad if I were reviewing a restaurant or car dealer...but CPAP machines are lifesaving equipment for some of us (including me), and their lackadaisical, lazy, incompetent and unresponsive approach to this business is incomprehensible to me. And try to get a decisionmaker on the phone from this bogus company. I'm calling United Healthcare to see if they can decertify this company. They should just go away. I've been dealing with Williams for over 20 years but never again. Have tried at length to reach ANYONE about what we were told was an auto shipped order and left many messages only to find out it was with an answering service. Drove over and building was locked up- OUT TO LUNCH! Owner Matt finally returned our calls after 2 days with snarky almost threatening responses, completely denying that we had even left messages. We arrived at 4:20 PM, given that the closing time was listed on the web as 5 PM. A sign on the door indicated closing at 4:30, and the service we received portrayed a staffer in a hurry to leave. Selecting an appropriate walking cane, one adapted to the needs of the patient, is crucial in preventing further falls. We expected advise in accordance with that at a medical supply facility, otherwise Walmart would have sufficed, and at a better price. We asked the clerk for assistance. He advised, "Whichever one you like." In return I advised him, "I think it's more complicated than that." He then briefly provided good enough suggestions - validating my hunch that there are some complexities to the choice of a cane. In other words, he knew what was involved, but wasn't going to be bothered - let the patient fall, it's closing time!. On another occasion we attempted to return an unopened item. We had lost the receipt, but expected that, as in most stores with up-to-date equipment, the charge card, and a service-orientation, the purchase could readily be located electronically. No such luck at WMS. Without the receipt we had to know the exact day of the purchase, so the clerk (yes, the unprofessional cane guy) could look through paper receipts. By the way this fellow is not a novice. I've seen him in the store over the years. Perhaps our dissatisfaction traces to one clerk. I don't want to generalize unjustly, but I do see that these folks have not been eliciting stellar ratings from others, either. read more

A while back I called Williams Medical Supply to find out if they had a particular product for my wife's aunt. Since the product is a rarely requested item, Matt told me they didn't carry in stock but he would try to locate it and contact me to let me know. Later that day he called me back. He even emailed me a picture of the item to be sure he had the correct product. It was the one they needed and I gave him the go ahead to order it. He called me 4 days later, said it came in and I picked it up. The staff at the check out desk was friendly and the store was clean, organized and full of inventory. Thanks again Matt. My husband is wheel-chair bound. For the past year, we have been dealing with a LARGE and very heavy wheelchair that I have to push him in. I also have to put it into the car and take it out for every outing that we go on. We were searching for a motorized wheelchair and one that would be lighter weight than the wheel chair he is currently using. We found the Feather motorized chair at Williams Medical (there was only one in stock). I set an appointment to see Levi so that he could let my husband try it out, and to show him how to use it, etc. if we chose to purchase it. We chose to purchase it and were treated with the utmost care by Levi. We took it home with us on Friday before Mother's Day. On Mother's Day, he took his first field trip on it to the City Winery in Nashville. Midway through the brunch and concert, the wheelchair quit working, so he had to be pushed the remainder of the day. On Monday, I troubleshot it and followed all the instructions in the manual, to no avail. I called Levi and he walked me through the same steps I had tried. He then had Dean, his service tech, call me to try some additional things. At that point, Dean suggested that I bring the Feather in for him to look at. Little did I know that they had received a brand new one and they were testing it for us. When we arrived, they swapped out the non-functioning chair for the brand new one. MY husband is now mobile and couldn't be happier. He has already asked about scheduling his first trip. We were treated with the utmost respect. Levi and Dean were compassionate, empathetic, and VERY helpful in getting us set up and with a working motorized ride for my husband. They have the greatest of praises from us. Listen...lol this is my second bad review for this place and I swear they hate to service black people lol...I was literally told my questions were irrelevant ARE YALL SERIOUS?????? I ask for a manager and he then keeps over talking me and I had to ask for a manager 5 times. They lost the prescr before and it took months for the lady to even get in contact with us about what was needed or to be done lol...my doc office even said it was terrible service. They called several times and no answer. The service is so bad lol. And this is every single time we call or even go by there! But let a white person walk in and they are happy to help and answer any question. There is definitely a shift when it comes to race. I have seen it for myself in the store and the phone service well honestly they are very RUDE. Lol my questions and concerns are irrelevant wow! They even threw both my husband and I out the door. They were very rude. I do not recommend anyone to go there. however, We did go to Medical Necessities and Services. They were very nice. My mother tried to get a medical prescription filled for a lift chair and the guy wanted an explanation for the reason she needed a lift chair. The guy who answered the phone was extremely rude and acted as if he was distributing his own personal equipment. I was appalled at how rude the guy was to my mother. He treated her terribly and made her have to explain her disability. I would not recommend this unprofessional company. Customers should be treated dignity and respect. After three visits in the past six months, I highly recommend this business. Last summer, one of their employees looked at the walker I had bought elsewhere and adjusted the legs so it was short enough for me. The other company had offered no help. Liubita helped me rent a knee scooter. She adjusted the height for me and gave me several suggestions about how to make the kneeling area more comfortable plus suggestions about balance. This past week she waited on me for another purchase and again was very friendly and kind. If the business is extremely busy, you may have to wait a few moments for service, but everyone has been lovely. read more

Very very rude service! My husband had a total knee replacement 5 days ago and P.T. told me to purchase a pair of thigh high Ted hose . I cam to WMS to purchase these and was not greeted or even spoke to for 10 mins . Finally a very rude blonde female with glasses walked up to me and rudely ask me if I had been waited on . I told her no and explained what I needed .
