Got that? Among the coupons in the Consumer Pak that came in the mail was one for Saratoga Roofing. It said they also did siding in addition to roofing. I figured that might give them an advantage. I called, talked to a real person, and explained what my problem was. I was informed that their estimator, Oleg, would be contacting me to schedule a visit. I received the call from Oleg not more than 30 minutes later. He was able to schedule a visit later that same day. When Oleg arrived, we reviewed the work that needed to be done. Taking advantage of his presence and knowledge, I pointed out a less urgent problem with the soffit in a different section of the house, and a concern I had with some siding at a third location. He assured me that the two soffit problems could be fixed and that I did not need to be concerned about the siding issue. We then agreed upon a price to do the soffit repairs. I was next actually surprised to see that Oleg was prepared to do the repairs right then and there. He unloaded the necessary ladders, tools, and equipment to safely scale the garage roof and fix my major problem. With that section of soffit resolved he moved to the other side of the house and realigned and secured the other soffit. I can't be more pleased with the service, promptness, and work performed by Saratoga Roofing. Oleg was very personable and a pleasure to work with.

We got prices from three contractors and they were all within a fairly narrow window. We chose Saratoga Roofing primarily based on the quality of the roof inspection. Igor appeared to know what he was talking about, and pointed out both positive and negative things about our old roof that other estimators either didn't see or didn't think was important. We had originally agreed on a date for the work, but then that called to ask if they could move the work forward a few days to avoid a possible weather situation. The crew started arriving at 6:15am and were hard at work by 7am - and they completed the project by 7pm and did a great job of cleaning up. And that was on a day that got well into the 90s. They brought in a large crew - I didn't actually count heads, but there must have been at least 12-15 people. And the way they worked together was amazing to watch - at one point I noted to my wife that it was almost like ballet as they complemented each other. Our roof is complicated - peaks and valleys, and fairly steep. So the bottom line is that we were very pleased with the work they did. I'm sure that there are contractors who might have been less expensive, but this is a job that hopefully we never have to get done again, so I would rather pay a bit more to get it done right.

We hired Blue Bird Roofing (formerly known as Kornerstone Roofing) after our neighbor's tree fell on our house. The tree damaged our upper roof and caused extensive structural damage to our back porch, so we knew we needed a roofing company that could repair more than just our damaged shingles. After calling several local roofing companies I was feeling a little overwhelmed - some wanted to just repair the shingles and subcontract the needed structural repairs, others tried to upsell me on features I wasn't looking for, and others told me they weren't willing to work with the insurance company on our behalf to get the needed repairs covered. Finally, I called Blue Bird Roofing and I am so glad I did!!! The owner came out the next day and did a thorough inspection of the damages, both on the interior and exterior of my home, with pictures to show me where repairs were needed. Even though there was snow & ice on our roof he didn't hesitate to get up there and look around, and when he found damaged shingles on our 2nd story roof causing a leak into our attic he sent someone the next day to chisel away the ice to patch our roof so we wouldn't get any more water damage up there. After waiting months for the insurance to approve our claim they finally did and the owner of Blue Bird Roofing was able to pursuade them to cover the cost of all the damages which was amazing! The Blue Bird Roofing team got to work right away on making the needed repairs. They put a new roof on our porch, repaired damaged rafters and beams, fixed cracked and water damaged trim, repaired torn screens, replaced a piece of damaged aluminum siding on our house, installed new gutters and guards, installed new siding, really they did everything that needed to be done so our porch looked exactly like it did before the tree fell. The Blue Bird Roofing team worked all day and came back the following evening to do more repairs. The owner even spent several hours on a rainy Saturday doing detailed repairs inside our porch because he wanted everything to look perfect. Not to mention the repairs we needed for our 2nd story roof - new shingles, new gutters and guards, opening a ridge vent that had never been cut to ensure our roof had better ventilation, new flashing around our chimneys, new trim - new everything. He even installed missing cross beams in our attic (at my request) so our house could have more structural support under the roof.
