Now she can confidently walk into a room, not be shy or hesitant to engage in song or dance and "do her thing"...I've watched Lotus Creations develop more and more. I found a number and called to find out the schedule of adult Zumba classes. They are more so a children's and teen's competitive dance studio where they travel and go to compete for best dances and stuff like that. I think it would be better for my niece to go here. I met the owner and told her my niece was a student at a school near by and told me that she would give us a discount if we paid for months in advance. The girls seemed sweet and open to newcomers. Definitely come here if you are looking for an after school activity for your kids.

She is currently…read moreworking on a solo work Despina Simegiatos and it's only been a few weeks, but the choreography is absolutely beautiful and they always win first overall at competitions with their Power Pak team, which Despina choreographs as well. Our daughter loves all the teachers, especially Samantha whom she started with when she was in Kindergarten. The Nutcracker performance that the children dance in is such a special opportunity for them to experience dancing at a professional level with NY City Ballet performers and it's truly a magical show. I haven't had a dance class in probably 15 years but I was able to keep up and actually do a decent job. There were about five other people in the class, which was nice. It gave a lot of space for Every one and at the end you have a chance to record yourself, which is fun. There's also a lot of community. They were having a viewing party on Saturday and next Saturday was a birthday benefit party. We had small intros at the beginning and asked one ice breaker. My only criticism is that it's not easy to figure out how to get in the building. I entered on Johnson Avenue. I'm not sure if that was the right entrance, but someone opened the door and then I went up to flights and luckily again someone was leaving and open the door otherwise I don't know how I would have gotten in. They send automatic text through class pass however they should include directions on getting in the building in that text, that would be very helpful.

The program director too has an attitude problem and a short temper. He yelled very badly pointing his finger at our 2 year old's face who was then terrified for days. I take a hip hop dance class once a week for an hour. Its extremely affordable. Around 11 dollars or so a class and I think I paid around 150 for the "semester." When you get off the elevator there's a few benches there that you can sit and wait and a desk for you to register/sign in. Sign in process was easy and simple and they told me the room the class was going to be in. They also gave the brief reminder not to enter the class until the class that is currently in session is finished and everybody has exit from the class. The hallways of the studio is a bit tight so we had to shuffle around with the people that were coming out and the people that were waiting for the next class but we may do. The size of the class room is a decent size for the amount of people that showed up. The teacher was very informative and assisted with steps and would go over steps as well just for the people that may have missed steps. There was also apart in the class where you got to work with a partner that was fun you got to meet different people. Afterwards for like 5 minutes we had a little dance "party" where you could do anything that you learned from the class.

I'm a beginner AND short so it's incredible hard for me to learn when I can't see myself and the instructor. It makes me feel so disappointed when it's too crowded to do anything about it. I give myself whatever chance I can to be up front, even come early to secure a spot but then we need to switch out lines to let others see. I understand the classes are popular but I do think it's doing a disservice to the instructors and students when you make a class so crowded. I am trying to give an honest and fair review because I do try my best and I love the instructors. I hope PMT will please take this into consideration and reduce the number of students in a class to make beginner and adv beginner classes actually beginner and adv beginner friendly!

Funny i had inquired a year prior and the person that answered email was a bit dismissive. Like she asked questions after i told her my daughter had never been in a class. Apparently it's based on age. And she said i could come on a Thursday at 4pm. Which obviously wasn't convenient because we both work til after 5pm. And no follow up. My daughter kept asking about enrollment she was very interested in doing gymnastics,so i tried again and that worked out better. One class and she loved it. I must saw they were very accommodating about moving my payment to a different day than other people because of when we enrolled. BUT that discount they say they will give you if you pay with your bank account is bull. I've never gotten a discount for my e check. Besides these very annoying tactics i still recommend my daughter enjoys it
