Unfortunately, our experience with the owner, Daniel Ryan, and manager, Randy, has been a completely different story. We were originally given an installation date in June, only to have it immediately rescheduled because of an emergency. When the next date came around, another emergency occurred and our installation was delayed again. We were eventually given another date, and after weeks of waiting, we were told toward the end of July that they were so far behind that we would have to be pushed into August. When the August installation date finally arrived, the crew showed up around 9:00 AM and initially had the work completed by approximately 12:30 PM. When my husband went outside to look over the work, he immediately noticed large black tubes bundled up on the side of our house near the compressor. We had specifically been told that the tubing would match our house and be white. My husband brought this up respectfully with the employee, who explained that hiding the line would normally cost several thousand dollars more, but because the salesman had apparently told us that this was included, they would give us a discount. We were then told that the entire installation would have to be taken down and redone. The crew stayed at our home until nearly 11:00 PM and told us they would return the following morning to finish. The next morning came, and nobody showed up. We called and spoke with Randy, who claimed that the conversation about returning the next morning never happened and told us they had no intention of coming back for another week because of their availability. At that point, the condenser and indoor units were installed but not connected to electricity, meaning we couldn't use the system at all. The following week, they finally returned, hooked everything up, and told us the installation was complete. Unfortunately, it wasn't. After running the system for only a few hours, we discovered that the unit in our bedroom was leaking water into the bedroom, down the drywall and into the wall itself. The downstairs unit was also draining water directly onto our wooden deck. The hoses are essentially just pigtailed off the back of the house. We called to ask whether these issues could be corrected. Instead of receiving help or an attempt to resolve the problem, my husband spoke with Daniel Ryan, the owner, who became extremely angry and told him, "This is fucking ridiculous. He knows what kind of customers we are and he's taking us to court, we entered a contract and he's not playing our games." My husband repeatedly tried to de-escalate the situation and explained that we were willing to talk things out -- we simply wanted the installation issues fixed. Daniel ultimately hung up the phone. We are now left with a system that technically works, but one unit cannot be used because it is leaking water into our bedroom and walls, while the other drains directly onto our deck. And according to the owner, these issues will not be fixed, and we will instead be charged for his time and energy being wasted. The most frustrating part is that we have been patient through multiple delays, emergencies, rescheduling, extremely long installation days, and having the work redone. We were never unreasonable about wanting the installation completed correctly. We simply expected the work we paid for to be done properly and for the company to stand behind it when problems arose. Again, I want to emphasize that the employees who came to our home were courteous and worked hard. Our issue is with the management and ownership, particularly the complete lack of professionalism and customer service we experienced when trying to address problems with the installation. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company.

They also did not remove the old hot water tank that they agreed to remove prior to installing the new ones. Fast forward 5 years. We wanted the tankless hot water heaters delimed and flushed as they are expensive to replace. We were hesitant to call Capital Heat again, but figured they could flush the units they installed. The tech arrived and questioned me why there was no ports installed on the units to flush through. After about a 40min phone call with a manager, it was determined that THESE units didnt need to be flushed ( I had done my own research prior to contacting them and found from the manufacturer that they DO need to be flushed) which is not true. They just didnt install flush valves when they put in the water heaters. They charged me 149$ for doing nothing other than confirming what we already knew. After 2 bad experiences with this company, they are just not worth our business. It was poorly run 5 years ago and i see nothing has changed. LOOK ELSEWHERE
