They were very polite. Lastly, after they were done, the cleanup was as if you never knew they were there. GS insul cleaned up every step of the way. None of my bushes that were in front of the house were damaged. They were careful and respectful every step of the way. They also did my attic and my crawl space. I am ready for winter ( and summer as well ) no more winter drafts. I cannot emphasize how pleased I am with the service and outcome of this rather large project. They came for a quote within 2 days, explained the areas that needed to get done and suggested a little bit more to keep more of the heat in. We quoted spray foam for all our attic. The quote took about 5 minute of writing up on their truck on the spot. With an additional 25% more area than the first quote they still came in $$ under the first quote. Knowing that our house is half insulated at the time (old insulation had to be removed for another project) and that it's gonna be cold they scheduled the install for the NEXT DAY. They came as scheduled, executed exactly what they said they would, cleaned up everything, stayed on budget, and even offered to move some old furniture out the the curb. They had our Money and just kicked our problem done the road. Plus one of their owners was Completely Unprofessional. He missed 2 meeting he scheduled on 1 day, while his installer came to both. They broke the Window Glass bringing their hose into the house the 1st day. The second day the door from their truck swung into the house damaging a New Window trim on our House. We've lived in our home for 42 years. We've had a lot of Contractors do work in our home and I've NEVER had a Bad Experience before. This is the 1st time I've written a review of any Contractor. Had them install 2 furnaces and 2 tankless hot water tanks about 5 years ago in our duplex. They…read moredid not clean up after themselves and left pipe cuttings/dust all over the floor. They also did not remove the old hot water tank that they agreed to remove prior to installing the new ones. Fast forward 5 years. We wanted the tankless hot water heaters delimed and flushed as they are expensive to replace. We were hesitant to call Capital Heat again, but figured they could flush the units they installed. The tech arrived and questioned me why there was no ports installed on the units to flush through. After about a 40min phone call with a manager, it was determined that THESE units didnt need to be flushed ( I had done my own research prior to contacting them and found from the manufacturer that they DO need to be flushed) which is not true. They just didnt install flush valves when they put in the water heaters. They charged me 149$ for doing nothing other than confirming what we already knew. After 2 bad experiences with this company, they are just not worth our business. It was poorly run 5 years ago and i see nothing has changed. LOOK ELSEWHERE
