They were very polite. Lastly, after they were done, the cleanup was as if you never knew they were there. GS insul cleaned up every step of the way. None of my bushes that were in front of the house were damaged. They were careful and respectful every step of the way. They also did my attic and my crawl space. I am ready for winter ( and summer as well ) no more winter drafts. I cannot emphasize how pleased I am with the service and outcome of this rather large project. Knowing that our house is half insulated at the time (old insulation had to be removed for another project) and that it's gonna be cold they scheduled the install for the NEXT DAY. They came as scheduled, executed exactly what they said they would, cleaned up everything, stayed on budget, and even offered to move some old furniture out the the curb. I have water lines that need draining before winter and it goes onto the floor and it pools up nowhere near a "clean out". If it's only a "clean out " why is it sloped downward? I guess that explains why its at a point the water doesn't go to. Not a drain. Grr. Also my water intrusion shot right past the bright wall and created a pond nowhere near a "clean out " coincidentally the area the water pulls up at is where the drain used to be before they removed it. Also, during the recent heavy rain for days, if you look in the inspection, clean out port, there is no water flowing. It does not follow the drain tile. It's beneath it. Having an established appointment scheduled at least a week and a half in advance and on the day of the appointment there was no call and no show by the technicians. I was told two technicians were needed to complete the work on my AC unit when my appointment was scheduled (which they installed) and the day of the appointment they were scheduled to arrive between 12-3. I called the company around 1:30 because the technicians were not present and they did not call. The company confirmed I was still on the schedule and the technicians were backed up from the morning. No technicians showed up and no one from the company, not the technicians or the office staff called to offer an explanation. When I called the office at 3:45 ( which was after the 12-3 time frame) to tell them I had to reschedule as I had other appointments I was told I would receive a phone call back by the end of the day to reschedule. No phone call from the company to reschedule. As a customer I should not have had to call the company at 3:45pm to request to be rescheduled as they should have shown up or called me as a courtesy to reschedule. The company's blatant disregard for their customers should cause pause for someone to purchase any products from them as they are not reliable. Customers who are spending their money regardless of the amount should be treated with respect and should at least have a phone call if the company was unable to make the scheduled appointment but to ignore a customer as if they do not matter is where the concern is. No customer should be subjected to mistreatment from a company especially a company who prides themselves on being in the area for 50 years and have to worry about the reliability of their customer service/repairs on their products. I would not recommend this company to anyone as their customer service is not adequate. 06/17/2020: to provide an update the company was able to correct the situation and have technicians come today (the next day). The technicians were very friendly and removed their boots when they had to walk in the house multiple times. They also offered a discount for the missed appointment the previous day.
