So I tried calling the company myself 4 or 5 times and it said "mailbox was full" they never showed for our appt. I would have given this company a 0 but that was not available. I set up an appointment for a repair through Home Depot. I had done some research and found the exact name of the part that I needed and asked them to order the part since it would be 5 days before Williford's could come out. It wasn't a hard repair, just expensive and I had an extended warranty. My appt. was for a 4 hour morning window as to be able to go to work after lunch. This company apparently has no respect for other people's time, as they DID NOT SHOW, nor did they call me with a reason. Just, NO CALL, NO SHOW! Then at 12:10 and seething mad, I called the warranty service company to have someone who was not seething mad to call and find out where they were. I had the lights go out on my late model side by side Whirlpool refrigerator. Called WAppliance and they advised they could get someone out the next day. They first wanted a $75 deposit over the phone. I paid it. Nice man came out. Was there about 10 minutes. Within the first 2 minutes immediately started writing up an order for a new light that he would need to order. I explained I had already tried to fix it myself with a new OEM light I just purchased. It didn't work. He stopped writing the order and checked 2 other areas on my fridge. He then left saying he needed to check more into this model and someone would call me the next day. No paperwork was given. Ok fine. I ended up calling late the next day to find out the status since I hadn't heard. Rep said he would check with tech and call back tomorrow. Received call next day with a quote to replace 4-5 lights and switches,freight etc.totaling over $600. Obviously, the fridge (tho only 2 years old) isn't even worth $600. Bottom line, they didn't know what was wrong and didn't even tell me what was the cause of the problem... so they wanted to fix everything yielding in a quote so high, that they knew i would decline repairs. Its just a light!!! Pretty sad. I politely asked for a refund of my $75. Can you guess the response I received? I bet you can! Well, anyway, now I've lost time from work, lost $75, and still have a fridge Freezer with no light, Will report to the BBB when I get a chance. Stay away from this biz. Their overall rating is accurate. I wish I had seen it prior. UPDATE: 3/5/20 It turns out that this biz is so disorganized and mismanaged, that my credit card wasn't even charged at the time of scheduling, even tho I was told over the phone days later that I wouldn't receive a refund. Alternatively you can get a "knock off" replacement parts advertised from the smiling fat faced guy from New Jersey (the one with the great website offering 50% off) who after you prepay and are owed a refund: 1) only answers your call from a phone number... other than yours, 2) if you catch him using your wife's phone repeats the same two words "tough $h1t," 3) blocks you wife's phone number. Well 01/17/2018 one of the convection fans is making a loud noise. Called them and they were fast to hit the 30 day warranty button, not even a try to make amends. Long story short and then I will give the full story for those interested. I also have the phone recordings of all calls referenced to anyone who would like to verify my story. I will be more than happy to provide the recordings by email request: hisangel713@aol.com. Basically I called Williford's to assist me with a customer of mine and was treated very poorly. The biggest surprise to me was when I called to see if the parts were in and I was asked for the model of the unit. Being that this is a customer and they were the ones that went out to inspect the unit, I did not have that information and their "manager" Arlene told me that they cannot located the account without the model number. I offered the customer's name and the name of my business along with the street address (which is how almost every appliance company I work with looks up accounts. I reached out to the owner and was not only shot down but instructed to not call them again. If I had a customer who was forced to track me down to get help with an order that THEY ARE PAYING ME FOR all because my "manager" refused to help and put them in touch with me, that employee would be GONE!!! Moral of the story: These people don't care about your business so take it to someone who does! What ever happened to the customers always right...I didn't need to be right, I just needed information on the job I was paying them over $300 to do (that's including the inspection of $85). There are so many struggling businesses out there, I beg you to use someone who will appreciate your business! I own a firm servicing over 95 moving companies all over Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. I do regular business with over 30 appliance firms in various locations. I have to reach out to appliance firms at least 3 times a week. I called Williford's to assist me with a transit claim. Every time I send a firm out I ask them to diagnose the problem and in their professional OPINION, let me know if the damage appears to be transit related (if there is a huge dent in the side of the unit, transit....if the inside of the unit it dented, it might not be). After sending them out they sent me what the total was to fix the unit, I asked if it appeared to be transit and the girl said "maam we don't do insurance claims", I said "oh ok, but was did the damage appear to be transit related?" and got extremely snappy, raised her voice and said "THIS IS WHY WE DON'T DO INSURANCE CLAIMS". Most likely with frustration in my own voice said "This is not an insurance claim, I am not an insurance company I am a repair form who handles moved related damages and I am paying you for a service and would like to know a potential cause of damage." She said, "we don't disclose that information." Phase 2: parts were order and we were told it would be about 10 days. I called and ask if the parts were in for (customer name). Arlene said "What is the brand of the unit"? I said, "I'm not sure actually the customer is_. Would you like the street address (this is how almost every appliance company I work with looks up an order. She said "we only look things up by the brand" Ok so at this point I will admit I got frustrated and said "is there someone I can speak to that knows how to look up by name or address?" she said "I'm the only one" I said, how about the manager, she said "I am the manager". I said, then let me talk to the owner and she said "Mr and Mrs Hightower are not available, now can I get your supervisors name and number?" So being co- owner I gave her my husband's number. She calls my husband and said, "we found it under (my name)". Well that's weird, I never gave you my name on this phone call so how did you know to look it up that way? I start to do some research to track down the Hightower's. I locate a phone number on white pages, call and leave a message explaining that as a fellow business owner (forget that I'm a customer) I felt like they had a right to know to know how their so called manager was treating customers. I then checked linked in and facebook to which I found them on Facebook and sent them both a message stating that their manager refused to put me in touch with them and I needed to speak with them about my issue along with a brief description of my problem. 2 days later my husband received a call from Arlene saying that this will be the last job they will do with us, "our owner does not appreciate being called at home". As I said in the beginning.... Wow, if I had a customer that was forced to track down my home number in order to get proper care that employee would be GONE!!!!!!!!!! Moral of the story: These people don't care about your business so take it to someone who does! There are so many struggling businesses out there I beg you to use someone who will appreciate your business! Very poor customer service Will make several excuses and will not call you back. They service my area through my Home Depot Protection Plan. I called HD to schedule service to make a repair on my Maytag refrigerator. On 10-6-17 and they scheduled service with them on 10-11-17. Willifords called me back later on that day and I missed their call. Upon checking the message that evening they were calling to confirm appointment for 10-11-17. When I called them back on Monday they said that they had cancelled my appointment as they had not heard from me. I understand this is my fault for not returning their call right away however I didn't see the need to cancel the appointment because if that. Especially as I was told that their service tech makes his visits to Victoria TX on Wednesdays. I rescheduled my appointment for the following Wednesday 10-18-17 and let them know my wife will be at the house and confirmed my appointment. They told me the tech will call when he is 20-30 minutes away to let me know he is on the way. I told them that wont be a problem as my wife works from home so she will be there. Fast forward to 10-18-17. The tech calls me at 10:38am and leaves a message. I was in a meeting at work so I was unable to call and check the message until 12:15pm. When I called the person answering the phone told me they had cancelled my appointment since they were unable to verify if I was home. I told them I had let them know my wife was going to be there and why didn't they stop by the house. He told me it is their policy to call before and if there is no answer they will not go to the appointment He told me he would call the tech and try to see if he will go back out there. I told him it shouldn't be a problem as I know that Wednesdays are the days they go to Victoria. He told me it may be a problem as we're are considered an out of town appointment. Being frustrated I told him it's not my problem as your company decided to take the contract to work in this area from Home Depot. If you didn't want to work this area then you shouldn't have taken the contract to do so. He rudely told me it was my problem as they're in Corpus Christi and this is an out of town appointment. I asked if I was the only appointment that day in Victoria and he said I was not. He called the tech and the tech did not answer. He said he would call me back once he has gotten a hold of him to see if he can go out. None the less I have not received a call back (no surprise), and chances are I'm going to have to wait another week for them to come out. I called Home Depot and spoke to the protection plan manager and let her know what happened and she was able to schedule me with a different vendor to come out. I mentioned to her to please check the reviews online with Williford as I wouldn't want to be associated with this company. read more

Rudest man ever! My washer had a minor repair issue. Couldn't get a repairman out for 10 days. When the blessed day arrived, I took the day off and prepared to wait. When 4pm rolled around and no repairman showed, I called the office where they treated me badly, denied I had an appointment at all and suggested I accept yet another appointment for 2 weeks later! Inefficient system and expensive and below average repair work. This is the last time I will deal with this place. First off- a less than helpful guy and actually sounded putout with me when I was scheduling them yesterday to come and look at my 15+ year old Viking range. FYI- they are the only act in town to service this brand. The guy told me that just to come to my house it is $175 and he needed my credit card number to book the appointment. He even suggested that I call Viking myself and see if they still make the parts. I would say that after three years of serving this appliance and being the only one in town to service this brand that he would know that. Obviously after 3 plus years and hundreds of dollars spent there, I am not a valued customer, as evidenced by them not being able to look me up by name and only by appliance and zip code and their lack of knowledge that they just fixed it last year and that parts were available. I called to cancel my appointment today and again they didn't know who I was and I was placed on hold and when the woman came back she told me that she needs my appliance to identify me to cancel the appointment. Ridiculous and just maddening. We are getting a new range that is not a Viking so we don't have to deal with this crap anymore. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I had my Samsung washer serviced by this company about two years ago with no issues. They had the part, fixed it within 10 minutes and I was only charged the service call plus 40 bucks for the part. Yesterday I called to have it serviced again for exact same issue. Guy came out today, did not even look at my washer at all. I told him what the issue was and he said they dont have the parts they would have to be ordered. He said he would get back with me. Meanwhile I call their office because I'm bothered by the fact that I paid 100 bucks for a service call when the guy didn't even look at my washer. The guy that answers the phone is so rude I have no idea why they are still in business. Bottom line it was going to cost 376 bucks and take 7 to 10 business days to fix. No thanks!! Williford was sent by Frigidaire for a service call on a brand new appliance. The guy who came, opened up the appliance and said nothing was wrong. In putting everything back, there was need for some metallic sealing tape. The guy said he did not have it with him but would return in three days. Of course he did not show up. Upon calling them, the man answering the phone said thatere were other more important service calls that day. AND he could not give me another appointment at a specific time slot- He gave an appointment for 9 am to 5pm. Two weeks now, they have yet to show up. Whirlpool assigned my warranty repair to Williford's Appliance in Corpus Christi. My first call to Willefords to try and set up an appointment was not successful. The lady in charge of appointments was so rude and not willing to work with me on a time that was convenient. Guess customer service is not important. My house is in Rockport and she sounded put out that they would have to drive to Rockport to do the repair. Is seems if you are doing warranty work for Whirlpool and part of your area includes Rockport, you have to drive to Rockport! After several calls, I finally gave up and told Whirlpool I would not continue working with Willeford's. They finally cancelled the work order and assigned me another company who was more than happy to come out and do the repairs. read more

I agree about the rude lady on the phone. My dishwasher is under warranty and I have taken off work 10 times for work done in 2 months. She seems to think that it is just fine to take that many times off and says she can only give me a range of times and not a specific time. I hope someday they will fix it for good and I hope that I can find another authorized whirlpool dealer just becuase of the rude lady on the phone. I will start off by saying I will never call this service repair shop again, and they don't deserve even one star. Jason is very arrogant and extremely unaccommodating. Two bad traits to run a business. What happened was I called Lowes repair service for warranty repair on my new dishwasher and they told me Williford would be out the next day between 8 and noon to look at it. Fine. I called Williford to confirm everything and he tells me the soonest is 3 days from now. Due to my circumstances that I explained and being under extreme pressure to get this running I asked if there was any way they could come sooner. I'm sure there would be parts that needed to be ordered which is additional time. For coming out sooner Jason said no thats it. Didn't care about anything. His attitude was if you like it, fine if you don't, thats fine too. That directed at me rubbed me the wrong way. I had a choice word to say and this WAS NOT directed at him personally. Right away he said he is canceling the order. No intention of trying to resolve my situation seeing that I was rattled and upset. Poor business ethic dealing with customers that help keep you in business. Never again will I waste my time with Williford and I will go elsewhere. read more

Horrible customer service. Frigidaire set me up with a service call with this company. The first appointment they never even showed up or returned my call. I called them again on the next business day and was told that the order and call were never received. They set up a service call to come out another week later only to tell me parts would have to be ordered. I get a call today (a week plus later) to tell me it will be another 2 weeks before the part will be in for my ice maker. The guy that called is extremely rude. I told him I would need to know what time they would be there or at least close to the time since I work 30 mins from the house. He gets smart and says between 8-5 on Thursday and if that isn't good then Friday or Monday. They are horrible. Every time I have talked to them they have been rude. If this doesn't fix my issue then I will go through another service center. read more

When I told them I was available all morning and ran across town, he had an attitude and said no one told me you needed advanced notice calling. Really? A 30-60 minute warning would be nice! Can't come back till 2 weeks because I wasn't able to get there on time. His attitude from the get go was cocky and aggresive. This was the second time he had called, same attitude the first time.
