The laundry services have been down for three months. Instead of fixing this service for more than 150 campers and forcing them to take their laundry to town , they increased the monthly rent to $20 more a month. The average camper spends $20/month for laundry services so the Park should giive everyone $20 instead of increasing the rent $20. read more

(Late post: stayed May 2016) We had a lovely time staying at the Willow Lake RV Park on our visit to Prescott. The bathrooms were spacious, and there is a trail directly behind the park that leads out to Willow Lake and a plethora of trails for the trail runner/hiker/explorer. They had great wi-fi and the area has lots of trees and shade and picnic tables too! We actually arrived late for check-in the the office left our our map and information for us. We had a 30' RV we wanted to pull through and had no problems with this park. I'd recommend a stop-in here for sure! Willow Lake Rv Park - Campgrounds Near Me - Prescott, Arizona

Very misleading add showing a beautiful picture of Willow Lake. This is far from reality. Lots of longterm residents with trashy campers and surrounding areas. I felt unsafe leaving my RV unattended. Campers staying hooked up preventing me from pulling out of horrible space 16. So I had to back out. Someone tossed a bag of trash on the exit road which was run over and scattered about. Please don't stay and placing your family at risk. read more

Great location, BUT..... The problem is the management doesn't care about the safety or well-being of their guests. I was staying there in a long-term lot when another long-term guest started losing it on me by throwing dog feces at my house and screaming at me. I was inside watching television. (Full Disclosure: Karen was screaming that it was MY dogs' feces, which is technically possible, but i am fanatically clean about picking up after my dogs. Like, seriously, I have a whole station setup outside to clean up when my dogs go potty, always supervised, btw) I went to management and, get this: because "There is no expressly written rule against throwing feces at another guest or their lot" there was nothing they could do. They suggested I call the cops. Absolutely unnecessary escalation, anyone? The cops came by and were about as helpful as they could be given that it was just a Karen throwing dog-doo. They told her to stop it and then went home. To make up for the experience of being assaulted by another tenant (sounds ridiculous, right?), they offered to move me to another space away from the lunatic. Is it just me or was this COMPLETELY UNDERWHELMING response to being made to feel unsafe by another human being. read more

After reading the reviews of previous visitors we were a bit uneasy about what we would find here and even looked into alternative accommodations. We decided to check the place out first, since we had a reservation. Upon arrival, what a pleasant surprise! The bathrooms, laundry and store facility have all been updated and remodeled recently. Very clean and comfortable. While there are a lot of full time tenants the park is pretty clean overall and everyone is friendly. Easy access to the Willow Lake hiking/biking trail which is beautiful! Closest park to Embry-Riddle which is great for us. Biggest complaint is that the camping spots are VERY close together so be prepared for close quarters. Not a lot of room to sit and enjoy the outdoors from our RV space. All things considered, would stay here again. read more

Don't stay here if you are looking to camp. We camped in the fall and it's very trashy. Lots of full time residents with lots of "things" around their site. One resident even has a duck living on site. Staff wasn't very friendly at all! Hardly any amenities. Showers were gross however there was hot water and water pressure was good. We couldn't wait to get out of there. There is a hiking trail in the back - we stayed gone most of the day. Would never go back. read more

The office staff was friendly and helpful. However the site 16 is right on the dirt road - lots of dust and a tight space. Absolutely no internet the entire 3 days. We are full time RVer's and work in a new location every 4 months or so. We had looked into other RV parks before choosing this one. Many we looked at had no availability and others were by far more shady than this one. If your looking for the resort style park this isn't it. Its very basic and has a rugged feel. They don't have WiFi or a pool but that was okay with us. We liked this location in relation to downtown and our shopping needs. It is mostly long term residents living here but everyone we came in contact with was kind and friendly enough.They have a nice size store/bathhouse. They have a laundry area with plenty of machines. However, I went somewhere else for laundry because I kept finding pet food, trash/cigarettes, and monster pet/human hair balls in the washers; and the driers take a really long time. I did see a lady cleaning often, maybe I just came at the wrong time. One downside for us was the spots being really tight. We felt like we were right on top of the neighbors. Thankfully our neighbors were quiet and respectful. Oh and whoever is in charge of spraying weed killer sprayed the stuff all over our water hose. We weren't too pleased with that and got a new hose because those chemicals do leech eventually into the water. The bonus of this park is being so close to many trails around the Willow Lake area. We enjoyed many hikes around the boulders and spent many evenings watching the stars and thunderstorms from great vantage points. Overall, we had a good experience and we were happy to live here. read more

My husband and I stayed here 2 nights recently wit our 34' 5th Wheel. The park was quiet, and the personnel and neighbors could not have been nicer or more helpful! They let us stay later than the usual check out time without an extra charge. All of the hook-ups worked great and Wi-Fi was awesome. Almost didn't stay here due to bad reviews - don't count on these reviews - go there and check it out for yourselves! Maybe those people had a bad day or something. We plan to stay there again. read more

Stayed here due to proximity to where we were going. Wifi reception was horrible, only available late at night and early morning due to poor system. Fyi If you have AT&T, your cell phone will get zero reception until you get out to the hwy. Antiquated cable tv system. Lousy water pressure in the showers, but are generally clean. Residents and staff look like they're straight out of "Deliverance". Laundry and general store close too early. General store does have a great selection of beer though. Only reason to stay here is if everything else is full, or you're doing something in the neighborhood. Gets two stars because it was very quiet. Won't be going back. read more
