Found my Hairdresser…read more Virginia. This place is beautiful, easy to park, easy to wait in. All the things that make an independent salon preferable. Then there are the people. Locals walked in throughout my experience. Hellos and catch up stories flew. The best was the hair cut. In lvl my years, I've never experienced a more professional one hour appointment. The stylists are a man down, with the owner out on convalescent leave. Phones were answered, questions from people popping in and some appointments coming in at wrong times. Through it all, I felt cared for and not rushed. Will try the nail services at some point. Fantastic place to support local.

This pedicure included callus removal, exfoliation, massage, moisturizer, hot stone, wax and hot towel removal. It was awesome! The color selection was extensive, and the technicians were super friendly and attentive. The gentleman doing my pedicure frequently checked to make sure the temperature or pressure was acceptable. Definitely going back her next time.

I got my toes done and was the quickest pedicure i've…read moreever had. i had no prep done to my toes and two days later all my nail polish was chipping off and not lasting. so i went back in to have them redone. i was then made fun of and was told nail polish won't last that i need to do gel next time. i then asked before they painted my toes if they could prep them better to have it stay. and i was told "no. we don't have to do that" after they did my toes i was then made fun of when they said "your toes are all new. and will last TWO months". they laughed in my face and made fun of me the entire time i was there. is it so hard to want your nail polish to last longer than 2 days?

Received a phone call less than 2 hours before my appointment time stating that the owner/operator…read morehad a worker coming to her house so she simply would not be at the salon at my appointed time. So I said, ok... can I come in an hour later? She said that was not an option as she was busy the rest of the afternoon. She wanted to reschedule the appointment for the next day, which I refused (I work a full-time job), at that point she got frustrated with me and told me "She may be there at 4, but she'd have to call me back". At 3:30, I got a call from her telling me that she was not going to be there and that my options were to reschedule or to get my money back through Living Social. I chose the latter. The appointment that she canceled today had been made for 6 days and I had been attempting to make an appointment with her for at least a month.
