We would have to wait for AAA to come, have them install the spare, then try to get to a tire shop before closing time to get a regular tire installed. It was getting late and AAA was taking its time. It looked like we'd have to find a place to stay overnight to get a tire installed the next morning. We called around. Alex at Willows Tire and Auto Care offered to come out and install a new tire right there on the roadside. He came quickly, and worked long past his regular closing time. Custom Interior damaged with ZERO reimbursement after a month…read more I brought my vehicle in and payed over $2,000 for some simple motor work and keep in mind that this is how I was treated after paying so much; Upon returning home with my car that day I noticed that my brand new custom shift boot was covered in grease and had been attempted to be cleaned resulting in even more damage. It was installed about 3 weeks before this incident and was in perfect condition. It is a $50 custom made shift boot that took a $75 trim piece to make so this is going to cost me about $150 out of pocket to replace myself which is totally not cool. I took it upon myself to get in touch over the phone, where I was first accused about lying in regards to the damages, and was then mocked and made fun of by the owned Patrick for supposedly "just being all butt-hurt about it" I really want others to avoid such a bad experience, especially encountering damages and losing money when you are already having to pay for work on your car. I do also have images of my car on their lift as proof to the date that this occurred.

There was a glitch in communications between my CARB account and the NVD upload, but Jeremy went well above anything I could have expected. Customer service matters! And that is exactly what I got for my dollars from Jeremy and NVD. There is no doubt that any other shop would have turned my wallet inside-out based on the CARB difficulties, but Jeremy was straight up honest and really wanted to see me through this. The problem was with CARB (pretty sure a fault with my account setup - my mistake), not NVD. I will say, CARB did properly, and quickly, communicate with NVD and they eventually worked it out, so kudos to BOTH of them. I very highly recommend North Valley Diesel in Yuba City. You get what you pay for along with a lot of honesty, proper communication and effort to get the job done. Three weeks later he called me to tell me they can't work on the car but he will give me an estimate what it needs and how much it will cost. When i came to pick up the car it was all dusty and the roof and trunk were covered in oil. He came out apologized and kinda wiped it then charged me $160 for an estimate that he did not have ready and told me that he will email it to me and I am still waiting on that email since 12/5/2023. Very disappointing
