We would have to wait for AAA to come, have them install the spare, then try to get to a tire shop before closing time to get a regular tire installed. It was getting late and AAA was taking its time. It looked like we'd have to find a place to stay overnight to get a tire installed the next morning. We called around. Alex at Willows Tire and Auto Care offered to come out and install a new tire right there on the roadside. He came quickly, and worked long past his regular closing time. My wife had a prior appointment at 8 AM that she couldn't miss so Patrick worked around her schedule and met her at 7 AM. I was in a bind with an alternator that went out and, as with Lexus, the factory one was pretty pricey. Being honest, the lady on the phone told me they won't install anything other than OEM for something like an alternator when I told her I couldn't really afford it at that time and asked if they'd install a cheaper non-oem one. So she then did some more digging and was able to save a lot of money on an OEM she found but it wouldn't arrive until the next day and then they'd install it. I was so thankful. BUT THEN! She called a few hours later and said that the owner actually went out and found one locally and picked it up for me, it wasn't the cheaper price but they still honored the price AND my car was already done and ready to pick up! This saved me from having to arrange for a ride from and to work from Paradise the next day to pick up my car. Just outstanding customer service and great work. There's no pressure and they really really know what they're doing. I would take any car there they'd work on, not just Toyota/Lexus. My mother in law also has taken her Toyota there for over 15 years. I very highly recommend them.

He told me they were going to work on it right away and so I said great! After confirming that the water pump had broken and that they could have it repaired the same day I was very surprised and impressed. I did get a little concerned with the estimate but up to this point everything had gone better then expected so I went ahead and told them to get it repaired. Later that afternoon I got a call telling me that The job was done so I went in and picked it up after they let me know about a payment option which I qualified for and all was good again in my life!! The job carries a two year or 20,000 mile warranty and I even had my original cost for the inspection returned to me which I needed. I highly recommend dirks transmission and repairs to anyone with a small to large repair and need it done quickly and with complete professionalism. I will be going back for any future repairs and maintenance needed on my daily driver C6 Corvette 2008. Thanks Omar and the entire staff at Dirks auto repair. I wanted to post an update as of the end of the week of the repairs being completed and I did take my car back to Dirks because of a smell of antifreeze and just wanted to be safe. So there was a small leak in a heater hose that went undetected during the final pressure test performed. Omar told me to bring it in and we can take a second look so I did and it does happen, there was a small leak in a heater hose and it needed to be replaced as well. There was a glitch in communications between my CARB account and the NVD upload, but Jeremy went well above anything I could have expected. Customer service matters! And that is exactly what I got for my dollars from Jeremy and NVD. There is no doubt that any other shop would have turned my wallet inside-out based on the CARB difficulties, but Jeremy was straight up honest and really wanted to see me through this. The problem was with CARB (pretty sure a fault with my account setup - my mistake), not NVD. I will say, CARB did properly, and quickly, communicate with NVD and they eventually worked it out, so kudos to BOTH of them. I very highly recommend North Valley Diesel in Yuba City. You get what you pay for along with a lot of honesty, proper communication and effort to get the job done.
