My truck had been running hotter than normal at red lights, and every shop I called wanted to charge over $100 just to run a pressure test. When I called Quality Car Care on Wickham Rd., I spoke with Sam, the owner. Right away he stood out--he told me to bring the truck by and said he would check it for free, explaining that he doesn't charge people for a simple pressure test that only takes a few minutes. He found a crack in my radiator, showed it to me, and replaced it for a very fair price. A few days later, I started having another issue, and after installing a new fan clutch myself, the truck sounded like the engine was revving way too high. I was worried it might be a transmission problem. Once again, Sam told me to bring it in. He looked at it right away and called to let me know the issue wasn't the transmission--it was the faulty fan clutch I had installed that wasn't disengaging. Throughout all of this, Sam was honest, patient, and never tried to upsell or take advantage of the situation.
