The only reason I marked them down was it was obvious they over serve 90% of the people who go there, and it was blatantly obvious. No joke, almost every person walking out was smashed. I ate here last night with my girl. It was really packed but the host were able to find us a spot quickly. Our server was patient with how indecisive we were about picking our food. After getting the Blackened chicken and the Fish and chips I noticed my fish was lil undercooked for me but was no issue after they threw some new ones on the fryer for me. If your not complicit with the mentality of boomers DO NOT COME HERE.. on multiple occasions friends of mine, and myself have been treated incredibly rude by bartenders, security, and even patrons encouraged by the management. If you come into this bar on a busy night (a few months ago now I suppose) it is a sea of white and camo at ALL TIMES. There is no music other then country, and on the off chance someone paid $15 dollars to skip every backlog of country music you will hear audible groaning and most likely they will forcibly skip your song. The owners wife is the bartender that is the worst as far as iffy racial/personal discrimination and disrespect. It is a serious disservice to this community that the only big bar in the center of this city seems to be an exclusive ol boys club. Not everyone here is nasty, but they certainly have seen it and stood by. Also I have never seen a poc besides the kitchen workers I have spoke to that have confirmed my above comments. read more

We went to Willy McCoys on Wednesday for my daughters birthday. They were packed and we had a table of for 7. The waitress was pleasant but we had to flag her down a few times when we had issues. I ordered their BLT because I love their spicy bacon. This time I ordered it with an egg. I got the egg on it however they forgot the bacon. I was a little surprised to get a BLT without the B. Other than that the food was good. They did change their fries and they are not as good as they use to be. read more

First time in with a business partner/friend. Another customer came in and sat a few chairs down. He waved at the bartender Tonia for food service and she freaked out on him, openly. I was very alarmed by her behavior for her age. She then continued on a few minutes after this happened and ended up leaning over and calling the other guy an asshole to my friend. I asked if she just called a paying customer an asshole (which I clearly heard). So she freaked out on me. She then asked "who are you"? Well, I'm a person who will never step foot back in this place, which means revenue loss! I was embarrassed for the company! I really enjoy this bar for a quick bite to eat and meet up with friends! I have tried a few different items on the menu and the food is always good! 2 for 1s on most drinks! And the patio in the summer is a nice touch! It does get really loud in here during the busy times. Never had to wait to long to be seated! It is in a great location and family friendly! Horrific, abusive experience. DO NOT GO HERE. Bartenders are on a power trip with zero desire to actually do their job. I have never in my life endured such terrifyingly disgusting, insecure behavior from a female bartender. POWER TRIP failure at a repulsive level. Unless you're a "regular" or a man, these lackluster female bartenders will ignore you or make you feel like a burden. Apparently it's really tough to help patrons on a Sunday afternoon with an empty restaurant. "Teniel" our ABUSER started our experience out by rolling her eyes at my mother (the kindest woman I know) and myself for no reason. Repeating to us 4 times that what we ordered was not a "2 for 1"-- (which we knew) and for which we were not concerned about. We simply wanted to grab an afternoon cocktail with a quick bite to eat. FORGET ABOUT FOOD, we were not getting serviced and I'm pretty sure it was because I didn't "look" like a local. After I ordered my drink, this bartender walked away from me, looked back at me briefly locking eyes with me and mouthed "oh you!? oh really!?" Wait..what?! Is this for real? I do not know this woman. I simply asked her for a water and a Bloody Mary. It's a Sunday! What the ?!? She placed my mother's water and drink in front of the person seated next to her in a show of aggression and ignored me when asking for help multiple times. She was blatantly antagonistic in some weird show of power. Where do I start? I could write a book about this sort of enormous ego trip. Mind you, we were in the establishment for a total of 20 minutes! Long and short: Wow. My MOTHER and I were verbally assaulted FOR NO REASON. Who does this bartender think she is!? I am a resident of NYC where service industry folks take pride in their jobs. I have many prior years of experience working in the service industry and have never known another human/server to behave in such a manor nor have I personally seen or endured such disrespect as a patron. If a bartender or server ever behaved in the manor that this woman TENILE did in NYC OR MPLS she would have been fired on the spot. The manager on the floor "Brandon" did nothing and I actually watched this manager/bartender listen to this woman TENILE talk about us, point at us, in addition she talked about us to other patrons. All In 20 minutes! How does this much drama happen in 20 total minutes in this establishment where we were ignored, condescended to, snapped at for simply asking what the soup of the day was!?Seriously. SAVE YOURSELF. I have been up to Willy McCoy's on three more occasions since my review and they were all on evenings when the Minnesota Wild were playing. Now, my previous review had a complaint because they were playing really bad music during the opener for the Minnesota Wild but since then, it appears to have changed. Each time during our three visits, the Minnesota Wild were playing and Willy McCoy's had the game on over the speakers so kudos for that. They still haven't done anything about their WiFi problem and that is just disappointing. I do not get how in this day and age a restaurant/bar cannot offer WiFi to its patrons. You have the best deals around as far as drinks go and your food is better than the other establishments within a 5 mile radius and it isn't even close. Better than Clive's, Wild Bill's, Beef o' Brady's, Bricks, etc...but you still have a WiFi problem and you haven't gotten it taken care of. Why not? BTW, on a plus note, we came in with a group of 12 last week and our server Sara was outstanding! She never lost composure, was cheerful and prompt, answered all menu questions, and when we asked, separated our bills without hesitation. read more

Went to this establishment on 9/09/17 @ 6:10 pm. We were greeted right away and seated at our table ( no waiting). Our server was there right away and took our drink order. So much to choose from and reasonably priced. Wife had a Rueben with veggies and I had a burger with tots. Both were excellent. Everything was very good . Bottom line: service good, food was good, and price was not out of line, $$. There menu has a lot to choose from, we will be returning - 8 out of 10. A friend & I decided to try out the new Willy McCoy's in Andover (formally Tanner's Station) for a bite to eat & drinks. We walked into the place which was packed wall to wall which was to be expected being that it is new. There was a 45 minute wait, which ended up being about 30 minutes but you can grab drinks at the bar which is located in the middle of the restaurant while you wait. Once we did get a table, there was no problems getting served. Very fast service & all day 2 for 1s. We sat down, waitress came right away who was very friendly. We ordered the pretzel appetizer which was amazing! The menu has a wide selection of items to choose from which makes it easier to find something for everyone in your party. We decided to try the juicy burgers which tasted wonderful. The food arrived with a good presentation & was served hot. This bar is a great place to hangout with friends or just to have a few drinks with friends. The one down fall is that it is extremely loud which makes it hard to have a conversation. This was our first and probably our last time there. We got there around 5pm and we were seated promptly but then it took over 5 minutes to be acknowledged by our server who I observed was standing by the bar doing little. She then took our drink order and food order since we were ready to order from sitting there awhile and forgot my water. The food was served promptly and the quantity was very generous. We ordered the Juicy McCoy and a Patty Melt. The food tasted OK--nothing special. Well, compared to my previous visit, it's night and day comparison. Whereas my first visit left me hanging waiting for someone to take my order at the bar and eventually leaving without ordering - this time couldn't be any better for service. Jessica served me this time and she was awesome, greeting me promptly and couldn't have been nicer and friendly. The food was decent, not mind blowing, but better than tanners for sure. I've lived in Andover for many years... I was hopeful that a new restaurant in town would give my husband and I a place to relax and unwind with good food and drink after work. Sadly.... I've tried several times and this is not the place. Last Friday while trying to enjoy a well deserved night out we were confronted twice with an angry drunk that would not leave us alone. Tonight my daughter and I encountered another patron that literally picked her chair up and physically relocated her. When we asked him to leave us alone he refused. The bartenders admitted this was a problem guest and asked for assistance from the manager and he literally avoided the situation by hiding in the kitchen. In both cases I am not blaming the staff... they did as much as they could to make it better. They should not have to stand alone without the support of management. I've never had an altercation in a restaurant and I've had two in one week at Willy McCoys. While considering your date night or HH options... please reconsider the establishment that boasts 2 for 1 all of the time... WM you need to control your regulars that over indulge.... it's making the rest of us avoid you like the plague read more

Gone downhill since I frequented the place for some time now...2for1's because the drinks are WEAK. Good beer selection but charged for two even tho I had a set up glass as if second one was free..that's not 2/1 ..gave my server $10 & got $2.25 change ?? Do the math, doesn't add up, so check your tab. TV's are great. Foods been hit & miss & so has the service. They like their "regulars". You'll have to wait until they're done serving them. read more

This is an okay sports bar. The staff is always friendly and the prices are reasonable. The menu is too long. I wish it had less options with more quality. A lot of the sides and appetizers taste pre-made from from freezer. The salads are bizarre with shredded lettuce like one would put on a taco. Not sure why this place is always packed. Food is pretty good but service is not great. Today I asked for a well done steak but it was pretty pink! Burger was also pretty under cooked. We got a take out order so we didn't see the issues until we got home. Let me start out by saying, I have been to the Ramsey location and this location. The food at both of these places is outrageously good. Especially that wild rice soup, gets me everytime. That soup is second only to my grandma's! I will say I am rather biased at these locations as I have a general dislike for country western themed bars because I dislike the atmosphere and the music. This location has a nice outdoor bar that opens up with weather permitting. The patio is nice. I usually try to avoid this spot for night life because it is always so loud that you have to yell to just talk to the person next to you and I have seen quite a few bar fights break out here. Although bar fights are entertaining, they are not something any professional business wants or needs. A lot of townies flock to this bar. This place has nice restrooms, is clean and also has a very wide selection of craft and draft beers! read more
