Nice, clean spot. This has been here a few years. We loved the appetizers but the pizza was a bust. I did not realize it was cracker crust "pizza". Personally this is not pizza to me but more like a round cracker with sauce and cheese etc. Our server was kind and attentive. Great outdoor space with large TV and several smaller ones. Went there for a couple of World Cup games and it was not busy. Easy to get a table. Too easy for what they were probably hoping for. Food was OK, I like the pizza. The staff is friendly, but the service is a bit confused. Not sure they operate on the top as much. From a physical perspective, I'd argue it's one of the best places to watch a game In the Twin Cities. I will definitely return. read more

I hate having to leave a review like this because I genuinely love this restaurant, the food is great, and the servers have always been wonderful. Unfortunately, the reason I won't be coming back is because of the manager, Debbie. During our visit, she messed up our order, not our server. Instead of taking responsibility, she brought over a server who had been working incredibly hard during the busy USA Cup week and publicly blamed them for her own mistake in front of customers. It was uncomfortable to watch and completely unprofessional. This wasn't an isolated incident. I've been here multiple times, and I've repeatedly seen Debbie yelling at employees over things they weren't doing wrong, embarrassing them in front of customers and coworkers. I've even witnessed her cursing at employees over minor issues that could have easily been handled respectfully and privately. A good manager teaches and supports their staff instead of humiliating them. The servers here work incredibly hard and deserve much better leadership. It's obvious that the work environment she's creating is making employees feel uncomfortable and undervalued. I truly enjoy this restaurant, but I would never recommend that my family or friends work here under the current management. Something needs to change, and it starts with replacing the manager. The employees deserve a respectful workplace, and customers shouldn't have to witness staff being treated this way. Fix this for everyone's sake. read more

Pizza Pub is far better than their upstairs sister restaurant, Prime. They are on the pricier side, but the food is decent, not the best pizza, but definitely better than the national chains. read more

Pizza Pub is a very nice new space at the National Sports Complex. The interior is pristine although a bit loud even for a sports bar given the acoustics inside. Nevertheless, there are plenty of TVs for anyone interested in watching a sporting event during their visit. As for the food, the Italian Stallions were good - a little unique, but a fresh take unlike really anything I can think of trying before. Their wings were nice and crisp, a big plus. The pizzas were just OK. The taco was about what you'd expect but could use a chip/shell to add some crunch like you get at a lot of other venues. The Popper Pizza was unique too, with a berry spread and cream cheese base. Not sure either would drive me to return, but it wasn't bad at all. I'm gonna keep it real...real simple...Pizza Pub rocks and it should just take over the whole damn building. Dump the steak, double down on the pizza! The pizza is frickin' awesome! I'm so glad I didn't judge them by the stupid steak house upstairs (which I reviewed). We tried 4 kinds of pizza...meatza pizza, cheeseburger pizza, reuben pizza, and taco pizza. Yes, yes, yes, yes! My mom and I decided to try eating here in lieu of going to Broadway where we would typically grab pizza here in Blaine. They may not have trains going around the ceiling and tchotchkes, and the bar definitely has the typical modern millennial grey vibes, but I suppose you don't really go out for pizza for vibes or aesthetic. The server got us a table immediately even though it was quite busy. Our drinks were delivered promptly and were well poured. We ordered the Tequilaberry Salad (I make this regularly and this one was pretty good), a 9" Popper Pizza, and a 14" Pizza Pub Special. The salad was good, the seasoning was definitely underwhelming but it's made for "everyone" so I adjusted it at the table. The pizza was AMAZING. The popper pizza is a must! I wish we would have gotten the large of this so I had leftovers! The Pub Special was good, the crust was crispy, but if you take your leftovers home and put them in the fridge I would STRONGLY suggest that you put it on parchment paper because the crust fuses itself to the box overnight. Overall I was very impressed with their food, and I will most definitely be back. read more

This was my first time at Pizza Pub and boy was I pleased with the experience! I stopped in for some drinks and appetizers with friends, ended up going with the breaded cauliflower tossed in buffalo sauce which was amazing. What was even better was our server Kelsey! I loved her energy! She was very friendly, informative of the menu, and fulfilling of our needs. She is the envy of every other restaurant because of how good of a server she is! The food did not have much flavor. It all started with the cocktail. I ordered a seasonal mule, it was very medicinal. Then we had the tequila berry salad. The dressing on the salad was flavorless and watery. Last part of our meal was a pizza. We ordered the Pizza Pub Special. It was bland, how could it be with all those toppings? Great new pizza place in Blaine! Went for lunch with my son today. Great atmosphere with tons of seating and TVs everywhere - would be a great place to watch a game! The pizza is excellent! The best tavern style pizza in the area, and we've had them all. Better than Broadway or Red's for sure. If you like Pizza Flame but wish their crust wasn't so soggy, you'll love this pizza. Service was great too, and you can tell they've been spending a lot of time getting ready to open. As we were leaving, my son (aka the pickiest eater ever) asked if we could get it again this weekend. Can't wait to come back for more! read more

We have been wanting to go and check out the new place but it is usually packed. It is very loud and it was only partially full. I can't imagine with all the tvs how loud it would be during football season. Food was ok. Typically the regular bar food. Nice to have individual size pizzas. Now the best thing was the staff. I have a few issues with Pizza Pub in Blaine. First issue-it's way too noisy in that place! I'm not old but I could not hear the person sitting across from me without talking loudly. Even when the waitress was taking orders, she was so loud that I had to cover my ear on the side she stood. Screaming kids didn't help. Please put some kind of sound deadening material up. Geez!!! Second-I ordered the coconut shrimp dinner. I wasn't asked what kind of salad dressing I wanted but luckily was given ranch which I like. But the shrimp was flat, like it was run over. Never had flat shrimp before. It was not butterfly shrimp either. I expected some plumb to it but we all were like "where is the shrimp?" Third-the sauce for the coconut shrimp was nasty! Sriracha in the sauce? Seriously? I ordered the shrimp anyway because if the shrimp is good, you don't need sauce. I was wrong. Why are all the restaurants going with hot flavors? Many people hate heat. Offer other sauces please. Fourth-my sister ordered a chef salad and everyone had their food but her. The waitress came by and asked if everything was okay. Had to ask where her entree was. Fifth-moving the chairs on cement floor was like nails in a chalkboard. No one in our large party plans to ever go back. Everything is fixable. I don't like writing these types of reviews, but sometimes I am a tough critique. I was pretty excited to see this new pizza pub open very close to the house. Me and my family went for lunch, around 1215 pm on Sunday. Place wasn't busy. We were seated right away, and our drink order was taken very quick. We all ordered waters, a couple sodas and a big wave on tap. What was we fed was a cider, waitress took the cider back and served the correct beer. Came back a few moments later to take our order. We started with wings. Do not skip the wings they were very good! On the menu there are different size pizzas, personal, small, medium, large. Every-time someone from our party ordered a small the waitress asked if they wanted the personal or small, we said small we want small. Myself and my husband ordered the pan dish pizza, my daughter ordered the pickle with no Canadian bacon. Order served with one pan dish pizza(dough not cooked), and the pickle pizza served with Canadian bacon. My Hubbard was glad for the mistake and his was served thin crust as the dish was not good at all. Upon telling the waitress that the pickle pizza was ordered without bacon, she said oh I didn't know. My daughter said it two times. She acted like she wasn't going to have it re made. She eventually did but it was very awkward. The pizzas that were served correctly were very good. It is a shame tho that the service was not good read more

They told us they did not do reservations, and we should just come in and they would try to seat us. We found another Restaurant that gladly took our reservation. Save yourself the trouble and go to an established place like Adagios in New Brighton. I'm not going to go into to much detail but 1 hour to be seated, just our group, each drink took over 25 minutes to get, food come randomly and not all at once, 30 minutes between plated, food was not good and absolutely horrible when you think of the price, it took 3 hours to get in and out, and we were not there to hang out all day, nor watch a game.
