I had been looking forward to visiting the store; after seeing many advertisements in my Social Feed. I saw a pair of embroidered jeans. I was told that the pictures on line are not of current items. They did not have what I went in for. The clothing is beautiful but way over priced. Due to circumstances out of my control. I arrived 5 minutes before closing. 5 other customers where in the store, I was greeted with the announcement that they where closing in 5 minutes. When 5 more people came in the store, it was announced they had 4 minutes to shop. We all where rushed to pick our items, and get out of the store. Absolutely love this store! Walked in on a whim a week ago and spent at least an hour just pursuing all the cute items. If you want anything Long Island related I mean clothing, jewelry, pillows, glasses, mirrors, wall art, books, purses, kitchen towels, coasters, they have you covered. They also have a ton of those Mud Pie pieces. It may be a little pricier than home goods but you're out there supporting local businesses that Willy Nilly partners with so it's totally worth it. Staff was very helpful and when they saw I was struggling to hold all the cute things I had in my hands they took everything behind the cash register for me. This store is awesome and I'm so sorry I didn't come in sooner! It is a little pricey but they have unique decor and gifts. They have Long Island themed decor, coastal/mermaid decor, jewelry, clothes, and seasonal decor. Really easy to spend money in here because it is stuff you won't find in a department store. My mom has been battling the after-effects of a stroke for a little over a year now. While she can get around, it is difficult due to being in a wheelchair. My dad, well he has his own physical ailments that limit what he can do as well. To say holidays and Christmas shopping are tough, would be an understatement, but they mean so well and do what they can. Last night, even as the store was getting ready to close, my dad was able to get my mom into the store, and her Christmas was made. They've both never been much of a big box store or shopping mall kind of people. Willy Nilly went out of their way to accommodate them, shopped with them, and wrapped everything they bought for them. Even after their scheduled closure time. They say to shop local around the holidays to help these businesses and that's why. The care for the customer that you don't get from a Walmart or Target or Roosevelt Field. 6 shopping bags later, I know it's highly unlikely that Willy Nilly and it's owners or employees will ever see this, but thank you so much for bringing a little joy to their Christmas. I love this store! They have an awesome selection of "Long Island" and "fire island" memorabilia .. It's pretty legit.. They have a really nice Alex and ani selection as well... I'm not into their bangle jewelry, however, they design these adjustable bracelets that are just perfect and they had the one I had been looking for also! I even found the necklace to match! I'll get that next time... Anyway, expansive collection of the "life is good" clothing line... I especially love that brand.. Really awesome "positive state" sweatshirts and they're so cozy! They had really cute, thoughtful gifts as well.. Mini prayer boxes.. I just loved it, I haven't been here in a while and had been recently recommended to give it another try and I'm glad I did! I receive coupons from Willy Nilly for my birthday a anniversary months. Today I went in to get the $15. off $75. or more. The cashier said it's not good on Long Island merchandise. I explained that I'm living in Florida now, usually miss the promotions, but I'm here now. She called the manager over. That was a big NO for applying the coupon. Said the owner won't give a discount on the items. Meanwhile, although it says some exclusions apply, you can't see any of them. I left without buying anything and told them I would be sharing my experience on Yelp. Very poor customer service. I'm unsubscribing from them. Hello, let me start by saying I loved your store. My mom and I have been loyal customers for years. But recently I've been a little disheartened when I come to visit and shop with you guys. I never really took notice of your "wedding gifts" section before because for the first time in my 34 years of existence, I found the love of my life, and I am a bride to be. The last few times I've visited i started to take notice of all the unique and lovely engagement/wedding gifts and decor items in your store and have left feeling more invisible and depressed than I have in years. You see, I am a lesbian. So yes I am marrying a woman. And every time I come back I look high and low for anything that says Mrs and Mrs or Mr and Mr to no avail. I don't know if it's a vendor/supplier issue; a oversight by your staff or you guys just don't want those items in your store. As a whole, all of your staff has always made myself and anyone I was with feel welcome. That's not my issue. My issue is that it is 2019, gay and lesbian couples exist and we do get married. And when I walk in and see nothing for us, it's a little disheartening, considering you guys a a major hometown store, that usually has something for EVERYONE. I decided to bring this to your attention because maybe it is an oversight and you just didn't realize. The staff follow you around and you feel pressured into buying crap that is WAY over priced ( just bc its displayed nicely doesn't mean it's worth the money ladies). -it's annoying. I took my friend here from out of state she wanted a Alex and Ani bracelet and i knew that you sold them at your store. It's such a cute store with nice gifts to purchase, she loved the store until we were treated so poorly. The women that helped us was so nasty and not helpful at all. My friend wanted the bracelet in gold and the women said they didn't have it, when my friend spotted it in the case in gold the women was so angry and was annoyed that she found it. You would have thought she would have been happy to make a sale, she wasn't. I have not gone back there and when I told friends about our experience they were not shocked to hear, since they had a similar experience as well. I won't be going back there ever again. This store treats the customer like they know all about their return policy. I bought two baby gifts the other day and had to return one and fully expected them to credit my credit card but instead was given a store credit card. It was stated that this has always been their policy. Well since I was a new customer how would I know this? The cashier politely pointed out a sign on their counter stating their policy. Well, I never saw it, as my items were piled on top of it when I went to the register. THE SUPERVISOR OF THE STORE WAS VERY RUDE TO ME, ALMOST BELLIGERENT AND SO RUDE IT CAUGHT ME BY SURPRISE. SHE DIDN'T WANT TO DISCUSS THAT THE POLICY NEEDS TO BE HUNG UP AND NOT HIDDEN WITH PURCHASES, THAT ARE LAYING ON TOP OF COUNTER, WHERE POLICY IS POSTED.This store needs to post this policy on the wall or somewhere other than the counter, where the customer can see it. Perhaps the cashiers can be instructed to say it as well as asking if you want purchases to be gift wrapped. Since I now have a credit, I will be visiting the store again. I went in with my 23 year old son who was looking to get something meaningful for his girlfriend. He wanted to look at the Alex and Ani bracelets. Other then the bracelet he really didn't know what he wanted. The clerk Jennifer pulled out a bunch and the cards for him. She had so much patience and was super nice and encouraging. He ended up getting 3 bracelets. They gift wrapped them, took the price tags off. We had them wrapped together but they would have done them separate if we wanted.
