    At Woodman's - Menomonee Falls

Visited Wilma's Smokehouse while at Woodman's Friday afternoon, 13 September. This is my fourth time time here over the last few years and it has been consistent. Today I ordered the brisket plate that comes with two sides. My choice was haystack onion strings and mac & cheese. I've ordered the mac and cheese previously but this time it seemed to be very underwhelming, but the onion strings were tasty. The brisket was tender, but I was hoping for that smoke ring, however the smokiness of the meat was not over powering and the sauce to accompany the brisket was good. It is nice change of pace to local restaurant offerings in the area. Hoping for one of these BBQ food trucks to open a brick and mortar shop in my area.

That the best barbecue I've had in the area, bar none. You need to eat here, especially on a Friday to get the burnt ends! My girlfriend got the bacon jam burger, also insane. Worth going out of your way without a doubt.

Best brisket I have had and great service! Everything I have had off the menu has been delicious. I had 2# of brisket the first week I found Wilma's melt in your mouth! Great homemade sauce!! Highly recommend them and can't wait to have some more tomorrow!

5 star for a reason! I'm usually skeptical about food trucks but this was the cleanest one I ever saw in my life. you could even tell by how clean the smoke grill was that these people take pride in the food they serve. Thought it was really cool that they had buzzers so you can kindly wait in your car just Incase Wisconsin throw us some bipolar weather. I the guy and lady there are very kind and as I watched them help each customer they gave them 100% no matter how old or young that came threw. Food was on point I got the pulled pork and Tri tips I will definitely be going back to try more.

We ordered the bulgogi, steak cubes, pork belly, spicy pork belly, beef tongue, rib meat, shrimp, creamy corn, fried buns, and a few other smaller items. The meat was all good quality! Our tables' favorite meat was the bulgogi for sure. We also loved the creamy corn and fried buns. However, beef tongue was so tough though I couldn't even bite into it (but honestly wasn't expecting to enjoy it!). The sauce bar was a fun touch to get exactly what we each liked. It was a little tricky being in a booth and getting people out to make their sauce combos though but we made it work. There is also a dessert bar but nothing was super intriguing to us and we were pretty full from the meal. The only downside was the service. Other servers seemed awesome but our waitress was totally aloof. She missed multiple orders of ours and we had to reorder those, and she acted super confused each time we had to tell her. She didn't give any direction on the process, and each time we wanted to add to the order we had to wave her down. I don't think she proactively checked on us once. A table nearby had the hotpot and that looked really good. We were intrigued and want to come back and try it. All in all, a great experience, and $31 per person for the amount of food you can rack up felt like a really good deal.

Plenty of space for parking in the back. Dark, smoky atmosphere with Asian interior designs. Perfect ambiance for BBQ! We had both Korean BBQ & hot pot, absolutely worth the price for both. The BBQ was by far everyone's favorite. We recommend the beef bulgogi, beef short ribs, and pork belly--these were the best for BBQ. Since it was all you can eat, we had a few servings of them. There was also a counter for different types of sauce one could get and a dessert section. The hot pot was great as well. We recommend the bone broth and the fish/shrimp/meatballs with it as well as udon noodles. The service was great overall. Our server was busy, but she managed to be attentive with us. We left with our belly full. We will absolutely come back.

The brisket was absolutely my favorite, with the pulled pork being a close second! I was slightly underwhelmed by the ribs, but overall the BBQ was very delicious and hit the spot. We tried all four of their Signature sauces with my favorite being "The Hog," a peach habanero that was perfectly sweet and spicy and went well with everything. We also had to try iron skillet cornbread with honey butter and hot honey it was sweet and fluffy and exactly what the doctor ordered. I loved the vibe of this place, and appreciated that we could walk off our full bellies on the riverwalk. It's perfect if you're craving BBQ on a nice MKE day (:
