Try it. It's good. Not a whole lot to say when you are busy eating. They have the meats.

This is one of those hidden gems. You have to drive a little bit off the main road to get there but well worth it. I had the two meat meal. Sliced Brisket and Pulled Pork. Both excellent! I had the Coleslaw side amazing as well. Cornbread moist and tasty. The Brisket was cooked perfectly. All four sauces I tried were great. Then I noticed they had two more when I was done a mustard based and a mayo based. Wish I could have tried them. Well it gives me an excuse to come back. Help was friendly. Restaurant and bathroom was clean. Enough Now go get you some.

Meat quality is really good. Definitely would come back for a half rack of ribs. Will say, I came near the end of the day and the Mac and cheese wasn't my fav, not super goey. I hear good things about their other sides though so I would give them a try.

Great experience overall! Friendly staff, clean environment, and everything was fresh and well done. Service was quick and I felt really taken care of. I'd definitely come back!

I called ahead to confirm they were open. All good. Parking was at the front door. The Food was delicious. 5/5 I love a soft bun on my brisket sandwich. This was a nice bun. The meat was tasty. Tried a couple sauces. All very good compliments to the meat. Service was quick and friendly/ helpful explaining the sauces. 5/5 Ambiance was chill. Which is what I needed tonight. A few groups came in and they kept the volume down to a good level. Overall 5/5. I recommend and I will return.

I'm ashamed that I haven't left a review for Just Smokin' Barbecue yet. It's probably my favorite barbecue place in the Milwaukee area, if not anywhere. For February 2024 they're testing out doing breakfast on the weekends, so I stopped in to give it a try. My order consisted of a breakfast burrito without salsa and with brisket for the meat, a pork sausage bagel sandwich, and a couple pieces of cornbread. The pork sausage bagel sandwich blew me away. The sausage patty is made in house and is smoked like the rest of their meats, so the flavor and quality were unbelievably good. Easily the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had of any kind (bagel, croissant, muffin, etc). Brisket was an easy choice for the burrito and I had no regrets once I tasted it. I'm more of a rib guy than a brisket guy, but their brisket is outstanding in terms of flavor and not being dry. The hash browns in the burrito were hard to taste and I honestly forgot about them until near the end when I bit into a good size chunk of it, but I'd rather taste the egg, meat, and cheese more anyway. The cornbread pieces were good sized for the price and moist instead of dry. For BBQ sauces I usually stick close to the kinds I know I like. The Just Classic has nice tang to it while The Sweet Stuff is my favorite and is close to KC BBQ sauce. I highly recommend both.

I ran across this place when I got lost in Lannon, and I'm so mad at myself that it's about 5 miles from my house and I never knew it was there! Hands down the best BBQ I've had in the Milwaukee area, and better than some I've had in my travels to TX, TN and NC. I did takeout but will definitely return for eat in after seeing the inside - it's so cute and comfortable! The very definition of a hidden gem. I tried the 4 meat sampler with sliced fatty brisket, pulled pork, pork belly and a jalepeno-cheddar sausage. Everything was fork tender and absolutely delicious. I tried 3 different sauces (original, spicy and Carolina vinegar based) and they were all so good I want to try them all! We also did the mased bourbon sweet potatoes and dill pickle potato salad for sides, and the sampler plate came with cornbread. All 3 sides were amazing, and while at most BBQ places the cornbread is an afterthought, this was the lightest, fluffiest cornbread I've ever had at a BBQ joint. If I could give this place 6 stars I would!

Remnants of brisket, pulled pork and smoked turkey. As you may have guessed from the photo, all were excellent!!!

They were the supplier of the Pupusas for the first ever "Pupusa Festival" in Milwaukee at Kochansky's Concertina Bar. They had 3 selections: Frijole (Refried Beans), Queso (Cheese), and Revuelta (Bean, Cheese, and Pork). I remember the first time that I had tried Pupusas for the first time at El Salvador Restaurant. I was hanging out with some friends (some were from El Salvador) after we performed the La Rueda in the parade. They wanted me to try this restaurant since I had never had food from El Salvador. I had the Revuelta, which was filled with beans, queso, and steak and they were so delicious! However, this time at the food truck, the toppings were a bit different. The Cabbage and Salsa had some kick to it and were marinated in some kind of liquid. I'm not sure what it was, but I definitely enjoyed this difference. They had some Specialty Pupusas, but they didn't get around to making them because the crowd was very large and they wanted to supply the regular Pupusas first before selling the Specialty ones. I'll definitely try them when I see this food truck again. Overall, I enjoyed my Pupusas and will definitely eat at this food truck again to try some of their other Pupusa varieties!

When we first arrived, the restaurant was not busy. Only a couple other tables occupied, so expectations were fairly high for a smooth experience. Unfortunately, things quickly went downhill. The food took quite a while to come out despite how slow it was. When it finally did, it was first delivered to the wrong table before eventually making its way to us. The food runner then randomly grabbed a ranch from our table and brought it to another table. He seemed potentially new, but overall the service felt very disorganized and clueless, especially considering the restaurant wasn't busy. We ordered the cheese curds to start, and they were disappointing. The breading was mushy and extremely greasy, and the cheese itself tasted low quality rather than the fresh curds you'd expect at a Wisconsin pub. We also ordered several wing flavors since they were on special: garlic parm, buffalo, bourbon BBQ, and lemon pepper. One issue right away was the lack of flavor variety overall on the menu. The wings themselves were inconsistent. Sizes varied dramatically, which clearly affected the cook quality. Some were fried so hard they were like chewing leather, while others had soggy, undercooked skin. Flavor wise the buffalo were almost completely flavorless. The lemon pepper was extremely mild. The garlic parm was probably the best of the group, though still just average. The bourbon BBQ was rough. The sauce tasted like an overly sweet, overly salty cheap jarred glaze rather than an actual house-made BBQ sauce. My wife ordered the Mary Mac burger without a bun and was told extra lettuce leaves could be substituted to make it a lettuce wrap. Instead, it came out with just shredded lettuce. The burger itself was overcooked and lacking flavor. The fries were decent enough, but nothing memorable. Overall, this felt like a place with potential that just missed the mark on both execution and consistency during our visit.
