After getting ferociously bitten by a cat, I had to visit this urgent care for some antibiotics. Considering the fact that I didn't have my wallet (license or insurance card) at the time, the staff were helpful enough with getting me checked in and seen. My one complaint is that the TV in the waiting room is LOUD, and you cannot hear a damn thing the employees are saying. Every time they called someone by their last name I'd have to go check to see if it was me or not. They didn't seem to really care that people were struggling to hear them, but also got mildly annoyed when folks didn't immediately jump up and respond. I also find it enraging that the entire outside/parking lot is covered in disposable masks. If you force people to wear them, you should have a staff member go out with gloves and pick up the piles of masks that assholes inevitably throw on the ground as soon as they leave. I think I counted 12 masks on the ground between the exit of the building and my car door. read more

I took a friend to this facility we arrived at close to 7pm on Thursday September 4. My friend was suffering from darkly colored urine as he believed he had a uti from drinking carbonated beverages and no water over a 6 month period. The poorly run facility was very unprofessional and unpleasant staff members had him give a urine sample in which 5 minutes later told him he had an STD /STI and told him to go to a Walgreens pharmacy which has been closed for the past 3 years in university of Delaware. The unprofessional nurse threw in to have your girl get checked for chlamydia. My friend was discharged without any paperwork just a sticky note in which she wrote the address to the Walgreens that was not in business. From there we called 24hr Walgreens on rt 7 bear . After getting no help we both went to Christiana Care Hospital in Christiana Delaware and waited til 4am to be seen . My friend was tested and it confirmed he indeed had a severe rare UTI NOT an sti . The doctor at the hospital urged me to file a report against the urgent care facility and find out who is running such an unprofessional establishment giving false medical diagnosis in which several members of my family are lawyers and I will be following up . I suspect they have thought we were uneducated and shall I say ghetto but to their surprise they will find out this is medical negligence in which well I'll have my report filed asap read more

My daughter was at this walk in in August for what she thought might be a sprained finger. They gave her an x-ray script but upon arrival at an imaging facility, they informed her that they could not x-ray her finger because the doctor neglected to write on the script which finger needed an the x-ray and also told my daughter that the doctors know they will not x-ray unless the finger is noted on the script. They notified the doctors office to please send them a completed script and that my daughter was waiting. Needless to say, they never sent the script. Thank God that Silverside Medical could see her and take care of it! I myself had to wait for a prescription for an infection to be sent to my pharmacy until the day after I was seen because their said their system was down. Only after I pleaded the next morning that I needed to start the antibiotic did they finally get it to my pharmacy in the afternoon. That was about a year ago. It is terrible that you have to wait until they are ready to finish doing their job before your medical condition can start improving. read more

I came here to get my daughter a last minute school physical. I was greeted the moment I walked into the office. There wasn't an obscure amount of paper work to fill out. You can tell the place is new. It was nicely decorated and clean. There wasn't a long wait or a lot of people in the waiting room. I was seen fairly quickly and got the forms I needed for my daughters school the same day. The physician was really nice and made my daughter feel extremely comfortable. This place is so much better than most of these other primary care and urgent care facilities in Delaware. read more

I never have this kind of experienced before. I work in the hospital and i have symptom of Covid. I went to Wilmington 1st walk-in on July 27 to get the test of Coronavirus done. I was there at 5:30 pm and fielding out the new patient form. After that i sit in wait room with symptom of coronavirus with everyone for three hour and didn't have anyone taking any temperature or vital. I see people come after me and able go in the room and leave the clinic. After 3 hour waiting in the room, the receptionist start register me in the system. Them I asking them how long i have to wait? They response back maybe other 1-2 hr or until other room in opened for you. They get my copay of $50 i been asking for refund and haven't done yet is almost 2 wk already. I call them last wk on Wednesday they said is take 5-10 business. Im waiting until now still didn't receive my refund yet. I call them again yesterday and today the manger said put in request for my refund back and then she will call me back... but every time they said they will call me back and never done one time at all. read more

Forget quick. Forget safe. First of all they jam you in a cramped room with other people and no ventilation and they make you wait forever in that stale air. This is my first time here and the girl assisting me was nice. The girls in the back corner of the office found something amusing about me. How unwelcoming. Embarrassing! That's who y'all hire?? What y'all cousins? Seriously, if I thought I didn't have covid before coming here I feel like I do now. DON'T COME HERE FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER. This place should be shut down. It's almost like they want us to get sick to justify more funding. How can they be this bad and operate as a safe testing site? It's as if they know NOTHING about the transmission of this disease!! I've gone here several times for COVID testing. Everyone here is super nice and helpful from the front desk, to the MA's and providers. Their process is easy and pretty standard to any other walk-in places like this. Also, once you're a patient there and can access their portal you can make appointments online. I visited this facility on 4/6/22 at around 6:50PM for a sore throat. Upon arrival, the front desk staff didn't seem very welcoming. After a nurse came to take me back, I realized she didn't wipe down the bed before putting down more bed paper. She also told me that she was rushing because she had been there all day & was ready to leave. The entire visit seemed very rushed & the staff seemed annoyed that I was there an hour before they closed. The staff who took my covid, flu & strep swabs didn't even put them straight into the tester. She had all 3 in her hands while she walked out the door into the hallway. I've never seen a test done that way before, considering we're testing for Covid, Flu, & Strep. The doctor came in & didn't even know what my visit was for. She didn't help treat any of my symptoms & told me that if I didn't feel better within a few days come back in & I shouldn't have to pay for the visit again. Days later, 4/10/22, My symptoms worsened so I came back in. The front desk staff then told me that my insurance was inactive (the same insurance I used a few days ago). I asked why I was being asked for insurance if I was just here less than a week ago. They informed me that I would still have to pay triple what I paid a few days ago in order to be seen. Went in Friday August 27th 2021 to be treated for a sinus infection and get a COVID test done. Waited for 30 minutes in the waiting room, finally taken to the back where I sat for an hour and a half for the doctor to come in, was in there so long the MA thought the room was empty, was told the doctor will be in .... Hmmmmm still waiting another MA comes and says oh I'm sorry your next she's in the room next to you. Hmmmmmm still waiting finally the doctor comes in . Did her exam and says you have a sinus infection I will call you in an antibiotic to take. WELL.....the medicine was called to the wrong pharmacy ( in pa) and I live in Delaware. Called to have it corrected not once but twice on Saturday ( still not corrected) called again on Sunday. twice ( still not corrected) So here we are Monday morning and still haven't heard from the doctor office to say if the medication was called in. If you want to get ripped off for a covid test this is the place to go if you have insurance. I had multiple family members and friend that don't have insurance get their testing from this location and it was free and no issues. I do have insurance. And they charged my insurance and sent me and my wife a bill for 216.30 for covid testing. Their were a few people in front of us they were in and out but it took us over 30min with blood pressure checks and vital sign checks that I DID NOT ASK FOR. Their response was everyone get the same. Now I know why they took them so that they can rope off the working people and their insurance. One of the charges was for PPE and Supply 60.00 a visit. I got charged 180.00. I did not get a mask and they wore the same equipment between patients and some staff did not even have masks on or had half way down anyways. Why am I being charge 180.00 for PPE. WHAT A RIPE OFF. THIS WAS MY FIRST AND LAST TIME AT THEIR FACILITY. read more
