We got call from Kim who said "Brian" could be here at 8:15. Promptly and cheerfully he knocked at 8:15. He diagnosed and fixed the issue in short order. Their fee was extremely fair. Horrible... no customer service skills, poorly trained staff. Missed appointments, showed up with anger and attitude and would not be helpful. He was upset because I would not share what other companies I spoke with to get a quote. Stay away. Edit: 6/5/17 @ 8:15pm after owner response. Why would not shake his hand when I am hoping to get a favorable quote?...clearly Thomas Wilson is a liar. Of course I shook his hand and welcomed him in out of the rain. He is just an angry and apparently tired fellow who treats customers poorly if they have a question or brainstorming suggesting that is contrary to his stubborn and unsophisticated views. Called these guys when our regular heating contractor was out with knee surgery, based on his recommendation. Granted, I live a sheltered life and have never really had to call in back up on heating, so I assume all will work out fine. Never assume. They promised to call an hour before their service guy was to show up. I waited all day, and never got a phone call. Luckily I was home when he came in the evening. Lovely fellow, he checked out the system and determined that the reason we were having heating issues is that the thermostat was set too low and ice got in the pipes. He was here less than 5 minutes before the heat kicked on. Ok, sounds great! Thanks! Here's your $90 for showing up. Then, 12 hours later, no heat. Called the company back, explained what we were told by the service guy. They said they would send someone else out. Same deal, call you before we come. No call came and no one showed. When we called back that evening, the owner answered and wasn't too happy that we weren't put on the docket. He came out and told us our system is so old (completely true) and violates code (again true) that he can't touch it. Promised to get us a quote on a whole new system that weekend. Showed my husband how to "trick" the system into heating the house. It is Monday morning. It is 21 degrees outside. There is no heat and there is no quote. You do the math. read more

This review is more of a warning to potential customers that if Wilson Bros. offer to install a Bryant furnace beware that i did so and had to replace the blower after just 21/2 years of use. Granted the part was warrantied but labor and service call cost me $500 bucks less a 10% senior discount. Wilson Bros was there fairly soon after my SOS and had new part installed in no time. These guys are awesome! Whether it's an emergency with my heat/air conditioning system, hot water or a plumbing emergency---(the ceiling in my family room just fell in due to a slow leak from the bathroom upstairs)---I find them to be responsive, professional, and reasonably priced. Also, and this is important for a single parent who knows zilch about this stuff : they are calming. I don't know anything about what they do, but they explain things, why things cost what they do, and are fairly priced. I don't want to recommend them too highly, since I want them to be available for me like they were yesterday--called before they were even open, and someone was there within 45 minutes. read more

We are new homeowners. So of course, the hot water heater went in the first week and the boiler went within 4 months of ownership. Initially, we called Wilson Bros to just fix the hot water heater and then service the boiler, but then the boiler was done. They were very up front about the fact that it was a crappy boiler and really, like the pros they are, gave us time and space to come to the realization that they were right at the get go. We needed a new boiler. They really mitigated the pain of such a big expenditure. Amanda in the office gave us everything that we needed to obtain the rebate from NationalGrid and even the temp loan from some other company. Tom and Chris were very patient with us and our questions. The heat is great, we feel very safe with everything and the install was very easy on us. Totally worth it to enter into a service agreement with them, you will win out in the end. read more
