Called to get an estimate to replace all roof caps and one side of our Garage. A nice young man came out November 20, 2025. We were told to expect the estimate the following day or the beginning of the following week. Nothing came. Called middle of December to see where it was at. The Woman who answered said she didn't see anything under our name and address that she would talk to the estimator when he came in and have him call me. Still nothing. Called again the following week the same woman answered and made sure the email on file was correct. It was. She said she would have them call when they got in. Nothing. Called the beginning of January, left a detailed message on the answering machine and guess what??!! NOTHING. Our new roof got its final inspection this morning. It looks lovely. Now I just need to get a painter to paint the trim and the exterior should look ship shape. Wilson brothers did a great job and they were very responsive to everything we asked of them. In fact, they really exceeded our expectations in that regard. We did run into a problem in the middle of the job. The air conditioner started a condensation leak after the old roof was stripped. It was late at night when I discovered the leak. I immediately sent an email to Wilson Bros about the leak. Their foreman came out the very next morning before 9:00 am to help me track down and diagnose the leak problem. The leak as it turns out was a problem from how the house was built thirty-eight years ago. One of the drain pipes in the attic was never strapped down. Mario removed one of the OSB roof deck sheets to make it easy for my air conditioning service company to fix the leak. My AC company came out that same day and fixed the leak. This condensation leak had plagued us ever since we owned the house. It would come and go and I had several companies look at this problem and none of them created a permanent solution until now. Do not use this company!!! Highly unreliable, awfuly work, and signifcantly more expensive than all other local firms. This is one of the worst experiences I have had working with a contractor of any kind in Bakersfield. After agreeing to do some roofing work at two commercial properties and charging more than the competition based on their ability to get the job done, they failed to show up and would not respond to the numerous phone calls and emails. They sound great over the phone and when you meet the sales team, but they left us with a huge hole in our roof which flooded the first time it rained. Do not take the risk! read more

I had Wilson Brothers Roofing repair my patio roof last fall. When they came out I showed them where the roof had sagged and had water running back under the roofing. I also showed them the facia board was dry rotted. They gave me a quote and I had them come out and do the repair. I was at work when they did the job and when I got home they had completed the roofing and gone home. To my surprise they had even matched the paint on the facia board that they replaced. Disaster! Be prepared to spend money to hire real roofers to correct their lousy work. Home inspector warned us when our house was first completed, with Wilson having done the roof. We didn't appreciate his warning until the rain came. Wilson made basic and fundamental design flaws and SKIPPED installing critical components. Because they did not know how to correctly tile the valleys to direct water flow, water pooled and leaked through the different parts of the roof and walls. They also tiled the one section such that water dumped into the outside wall of the living room, saturating the wall and flooding the living room with every rain (even though we have gutters). The edge of our roof sagged, with tiles threatening to fall, because they neglected to put in a basic, inexpensive metal lining to support the tiles. The other roofers who came to give repair estimates all point to the same issues and were flabbergasted by the awful, shoddy work of Wilson Roofer. read more

Wilson did our original roof 10 years ago and did a good job. We had a room added & after a few years the roof on the add on leaked. I asked Wilson if the could give us an estimate. It took a few days to come out & they said they could fix it. We agreed to price & they said the would put us on their schedule. After two weeks, I called & they did the work on the 3rd week. After a week, it rained pretty hard & roof leaked again. I have called Nd emailed them for a month now & no response. The girl who answers their phone is also extremely rude. We had previously recommended this roofer to several people. So sad to be treated this bad. read more
