Finally picked a navy blue one that was also cheaper among all the models as well. It also had 30% off. We were also lucky to find some winter jackets that were exactly our side and on 50% sale. I picked up a particular size and the employee, who was a heavy-set Latina, ran with it to the back right away before starting the transaction. A different Latina employee came back with a smaller size of the piece. She rang it and quickly put it in a bag. However, it looked smaller so I asked her to confirm the size. She confirmed it was not the size I had, but kept saying that's what I was holding. I said no, we checked the size before coming to the counter, but the employee started gaslighting us, saying you are wrong, this is all we have. We said the other employee took the correct size and they started talking in Spanish, believing we could not understand what they were saying - not to give it to us. As both were speaking in Spanish, they didn't realize I could understand that the original employee did not want to sell the larger size to us. Worse part was they could have simply said it's not for sale, but instead, they took an approach to gaslight us and argue when we didn't even raise our voice as we were in a celebratory mood that day for my birthday. We decided to walk rather than give our business to such horrible SAs. A luxury brand needs to hire staff that represents luxury standards, not women who would be better fit in Walmart.
