I've sat in three different barber chairs at this shop in order to find the right match. Each time I left with a fade with no blend (not sure if I can even call it a fade at this point) and an insane amount of enhancer to hide the mistakes made on my shape up. I've watched people get up from their chairs with lines used to fade the hair still there. It shows a lack of skill and care for client satisfaction. If I we're being charged 15 or 20 bucks I would understand why the cuts were bad but to charge 30 or 40 bucks for barber school cuts is insane. I will not return and I DO NOT RECOMMEND this barbershop. It's disrespectful at this point.

It was as far left as you could get in my opinion. I was extremely distraught to the point of tears. I was trying to prepare for my 8th graders graduation, (shout out to Monarch Academy class of 2016). My sister took me to Platinum Image where one of my students actually gets his hair done. These were some really classy gentleman right off the back. They all tried to calm me down and tell me my hair wasn't as bad as I thought it was. They explained what could be done to it and what they recommended be done in their professional opinion. Even though i had a horrible experience in the first shop I trusted these men. My barber Jo-Jo(sorry if i got the name wrong, I was emotional..lol) was extremely patient, friendly and talented. Even the other customers were really nice. Overall it was a wonderful experience. My hair turned out really nice. The gentlemen didn't even charge me for my haircut. What a blessing these guys were to me. I left smiling and this morning as I am preparing for the graduation, nothing but tears of joy! I will definitely be back to patronize this business again

For as long as I can remember this place has done a fantastic job at what they do, each barber is knowlegable, helpful, and personable. I can't remember a single time where there was a significant wait, and I have a pretty vivid memory of consistently getting Blow Pops every time I came here as opposed to the cheap little ones at most places, not sure if they still have them, but they should! (Who doesn't love lollipops?) If my brother has been going here since he was 10(he's 22 now), they must be doing something right! It's also in a convenient location, right by the Pets Galore pet store which always has an interesting variety of animals, nice to be able to bring kids to after their hair cut!

This is a great old fashion barber shop with a good mix of women cutting hair. The shop is clean, yet old (fashion), very comfortable. I had Nadallie cut my hair, she did a nice job and was a pleasure to talk with. Prices are reasonable for a simple cut and neck shave. I'll be back, thanks yelp for the recommendation.
