Sorry, gotta do it. Pre orded a rib roast fir Christmas. $100 deposit. It us a butcher shop/market. Came to pick up my roast, 4 bones and asked if they would cut off the bones and tie them back on. I was told no. I said isn't this a butcher shop, and was told, yes but without a lot of help. I'm not sorry, but they weren't busy, thete were 4, maybe butchers, standing around, doing nothing! I got a box with plastic bagged meat in it. $21.00 a pound. 12 lbs $270.00. No worries. I ordered, I'll pay. Bone in. Stopped at Ingles on the way home. BONLESS rib roast, $9.99 lb! Wasted over$150.00. Won't be back. In fact headed to Ingles tomorrow to buy a WHOLE rib roast to cut and vacuum pack 12 to 14 rib eye steaks, at $9.99 a lb for the coming year. Extremely disgusted by the service when I called today. First, I called to ask about possible tours or information on where our meat comes from. I have been interested in learning more information about farming and the meat industry. I called about getting more info and was rejected with the promise of getting a call from management. I called the next day and spoke to this extremely rude woman. I asked about more information about meat processing and was treated with absolute hostility. I was treated like some activist that wanted to cause trouble instead of learning more about the business. I am repulsed by their behavior and do not recommend them to ANYONE. A good farm and butcher should be open to questions from good faith people. read more

The guys behind the counter are great to talk to and very knowledgeable, the ladies that check you out are always sweet and friendly. They treat you just like you are family every single time. Very helpful and friendly staff. We had excellent T-bones and ribs. 4 racks of ribs for just over $20 is a great price!! I must admit that I was a bit skeptical my friends said the meat, etc here was the best..... Well having been brought up with a local Butcher I had my doubts. Now I am a fan.Best meat and poultry in the upstate. Everything is freshly processed and if they don;t have the cut you are looking for they will get it for you. Besides the steaks and ground beef I wanted thick center cut pork chops and although the ones they had looked great the were not exactly what I was looking for. so the butcher went in the back processing area and cut one, he came out and asked if that is what I was looking for. I have visited a few times just to pick up steaks that I love but never really tried anything else. On my last trip to pick up their amazing steaks, I was introduced to their meat bundles. I was a bit skeptical about the price but decided to try it. I couldn't believe the amount of meat I got!! The meat was as great quality as their steaks. I now go every month to get the new meat bundle they have available along with the great steaks. I always love how friendly and helpful everyone is. I love the meats I get from Wilson's. I purchase their bundles offered and it does save me money but it is the quality of food I get. I have to admit I will not buy cube steak anywhere else. Even fried (well oops) they were fork tender. If by chance left overs which is rarely they make great steak biscuits. I have never had tough meat or bad meat. The service is top notch. The friendly faces and they smile and speak to everyone that enters the building. I usually do not have to tell them my order the one knows me when I walk in and goes to find what I ordered. Great place to get your high quality meats as well as many other kitchen needs. Meat pricing is very good and always less than local supermarket regular pricing. (Supermarket sale price is usually inferior quality). Store is always clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. Worth the extra stop. read more

My wife and I were introduced (sort of) several years ago when her mom offered to bring the chili to our hot dog cookout. We said "sure," how bad could it be? She brought Wilson's chili and we all absolutely loved it. At the time, we lived in Atlanta, so we got into the habit of buying it from Ingles whenever we came up to the Upstate area. Now we have moved to Seneca, and when I found out the place had a retail store, I was excited! So far we have mostly bought ground chuck (excellent every time), mild breakfast sausage (amazing), and of course, the chili (best ever). So glad to have found this place!! read more
